This study was carried out to verify the mediated effect of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will of adolescents in residential cares. The data were collected from adolescents living in residential cares purposely selected in Chungnam province, Seoul and Incheon. Firstly, the result showed the significantly positive relationship among independent will, ego-resilience, and hope. Secondly, ego-resilience and hope of adolescents in residential cares significantly influenced independent will. Thirdly, the result also proved the mediated effects of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will.

The purpose of this essay is to check what are the problems of the current Korean independent films and to find the solutions for effective circulation of the Korean independent films in terms of its intimacy to public. For this, I would like to define 'independent film' and 'its ambiguous distinction', and then I presented the current issues of the Korean independent films and suggested the alternatives of the effective circulation of its production and distribution. Independent films can be defined through our understanding and identification, and it is significant of mutual communication with the audience, so that I will classify the cases of box office of the independent films. The effectiveness of production can be suggested by lower budget and many financial supports, and the effectiveness of distribution is to have many occasions to release, to benefit with them and to release in many festivals. The effort of independent filmmakers, mutual communication between filmmakers and the audience, and the official supporting system will make it possible for effective production and distribution. With this possibility, the future of Korean independent film will be bright.

The purpose of this study is to examine the eco-systemic factors that affect the independent will of female single parent householder The subjects were 176 female single parent householder who reside in public facilities for single mother family. Collected date were analyzed through frequency, percentage, correlation and hierarchical regression analysis. The results are as follow. The factors that affect the female single parent householder's independent will are the age, duration of living in public facilities, levels of self-efficacy, the ability to cope with problem-solving, and the levels of support received from extended family. According to these findings, intervention strategies that focus on increasing the female single parent householder's independent will are suggested.

This study is conducted to investigate physical therapists' consciousness for independent establishment of their own physical therapy clinics, examining aspects of physical therapy rooms in medical institutions. Data were collected from 210 physical therapists working in Daegu and Kyungbuk regions from August 1, 1999 to August 31. 1999, The results were as follows; 1. As for general characteristics of the respondents. 56.3% was 'famele'; 60.4% 'twenties of age'; 56.1% 'working experience for blow 5 years'. 2. 75.3% of the respondents thinks that independent establishment of their own physical therapy clinics must be enacted without fail 50.1 % thinks that independent establishment of physical therapy clinic will be enacted within 5 to 10 years. 3. The important solutions in driving forward independent establishment of the clinic are accumulation of practice experience and introduction of new technology(31.3%), accumulation of practice experience and raising of academic career(19.0%), and accumulation of practice experience and legal action (14.0%). 10.9% believes that independent establishment will be achieved someday if they wait for it.

In order to reduce the fossil fuels consumed in conventional commercial independent diesel generators in the same environment as the island area, it is necessary to develop a photovoltaic system that will bear more than 40% of the independent system capacity. For this development, it is necessary to develop a high-capacity inverter that can improve the stability of the independent system installed in the island area and supply high-quality power to the load. In addition, the EMS power generation control system for the independent grid photovoltaic power generation system is a parallel operation power control system of the diesel generator connected with the solar power generation system. It controls the output of the diesel generator according to the load ratio and the solar power generation, A stable supply system is needed. This independent grid photovoltaic generation system can increase the solar power supply to the independent system area and increase the power stability of the independent system and further reduce the use of fossil fuel due to the ineffective power control of the independent system. It is expected that the economy will be secured early.

In International trade the buyer and seller are normally separated from on another not only by distance but also by differences in language and culture. It is rarely possible for the performance of obligations to be simultaneous and the performance of contracts therefore calls for trust in a situation in which the parties are unlikely to feel able to trust each other unless they have a longstanding and successful relationship. Thus the seller under an international contract of sale will not wish to surrender documents of title to goods to the buyer until he has at least an assurance of payment, and no buyer will wish to pay for goods until he has received them. A gap of distrust thus exists which is often bridged by the undertaking of an intermediary known and trusted by both parties who will undertake on his own liability to pay the seller the contract price in return for the documents of title and then pass the documents to the buyer in return for the reimbursement. This is a common explanation of the theory behind the documentary letter of credit in which the undertaking of a bank of international repute serves as a "guarantee" to each party that the other will perform his obligations. The independence principle, also referred to as the "autonomy principle", is at the core of letter of credit or bank guarantee law. This principle provides that the letter of credit or bank guarantee is independent of the underlying contractual commitment - that is, the transaction that the credit is intented to secure - between the applicant and the beneficiary ; the credit is also independent of the relationship between the bank and its customer, the applicant. The most important exception to the independence principle is the doctrine of fraud in the transaction. A strict interpretation of the rule that the guarantee is independent of the underlying transaction would lead to the conclusion that neither fraud nor manifest abuse of rights by the beneficiary would constitute an objection to payment. There is one major problem related to "Independent guarantees", namely abusive or unfair callings. The beneficiary may make an unfair calling under the guarantee. The countermeasure of beneficiary's unfair calling divided three cases. First, advance countermeasure namely by contract. In other words, when the formation of the contract, the parties must insert the Force Majeure Clause, Arbitration Clause to Contract, and clear statement to the condition for demand calling. Second, post countermeasure namely by court. Many countries, including the United States, authorize the courts to grant an order enjoining the issuer from paying or enjoining the beneficiary from receiving payment under the guaranty letter. Third, Export Insurance. For example, the Export Credit Guarantees Department is prepared, subject to certain conditions, to cover the risk of unfair calling. Of course, KEIC in Korea is cover the risk of the all things for guarantees. On international projects, contractor performance is usually guaranteed by either a standby letters of credit or Independent guarantee. These instruments will be care the parties.

Three-dimensional panels are one of the modern construction systems which can be placed in the category of industrial buildings. There have always been a lot of studies and efforts to identify the behavior of these panels and improve their capacity due to their earthquake resistance and high speed of performance. This study will provide a comparative evaluation of behavior of updated three-dimensional panel's structural components under lateral load in both independent and dependent modes. In fact, this study tries to simultaneously evaluate strengthening effect of three-dimensional panels and the effects of system state (independent, L-shaped and BOX shaped Walls) with reinforcement armatures with different angles on the three-dimensional panels. Overall, six independent wall model, L-shaped, roofed L-shaped, BOX-shaped walls with symmetric loading, BOX -shaped wall with asymmetrical loading and roofed BOX-shaped wall were built. Then the models are strengthened without strengthened reinforcement and with strengthened reinforcements with an angle of 30, 45 and 60 degrees. The applied lateral loading, is exerted by changing the location on the end wall. In BOX-shaped wall, in symmetric and asymmetric loading, the load bearing capacity will be increased about 200 and 50% respectively. Now, if strengthened, the load bearing capacity in symmetric and asymmetric loading will be increased 3.5 and 2 times respectively. The effective angle of placement of strengthened reinforcement in the independent wall is 45 and 60 degrees. But in BOX-shaped and L-shaped walls, the use of strengthened reinforcement 45 degrees is recommended.

There are many methods in feature extraction have been developed. Recently, principal components analysis (PCA) and independent components analysis (ICA) is introduced for doing feature extraction. PCA and ICA linearly transform the original input into new uncorrelated and independent features space respectively In this paper, the feasibility of using nonlinear feature extraction will be studied. This method will employ the PCA and ICA procedure and adopt the kernel trick to nonlinearly map the data into a feature space. The goal of this study is to seek effectively useful feature for faults classification.

Submarines are weapons systems that have been proven to be useful in battle since World War I and have continued to improve the efficiency of propulsion systems in order to be used efficiently on the battlefield. In particular, countries that unable to utilize nuclear propulsion systems make efforts to increase the efficiency of Air Independent Propulsion systems, and typical examples are fuel cells, Stirling engines and MESMA. It is also expected that the development of new propulsion systems such as hydrogen-reformer fuel cells, metal-air fuel cell and direct combustion propulsion systems will continue, so the characteristics of these will be examined and the performance based on the published data be checked in this thesis.

Recently, the cases that many works of the korean independent animation advance to the world by steps and some of them win the grand prix in famed global animation film festival are proving the growth potential and competitiveness. In this situation, to guarantee the continuous, and reliable as well, growth and international competitiveness of it, it is needed to ensure the government's systematic supports. Although it is a bit leaned toward the creative animation for a theater, however, or many kinds of supporting system are established and carried out, independent animation is still suffering from the financial pressure. As of now, it is must be considered of the international standing of korean independent animation and is needed to be discussed how the government's supporting systems are proceeding and what they are performing. From this point of view, this paper will study the present condition and international standing of the korean independent animation, and further, will examine and analyze the on-going supporting systems. This, consequently, intends to present the direction of government's system to promote the korean independent animation.
