Currently, inappropriate information regarding cancer is being disseminated indiscreetly via the media and Internet. Many people are confused due to the mixed presence of facts and misinformation concerning cancer. Owing to the flood of information, especially that concerning gastrointestinal cancer (the most common cancer in Korea), patients with gastrointestinal cancers, their family members, and medical staff, as well as the general public, are faced with a number of problems in understanding, treating, and overcoming this type of cancer. Therefore, investigating the level of recognition for and understanding of gastrointestinal cancers among these populations is very important for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of this disease. This review article investigated the differences in the recognition levels of the general understanding, prevention, quality of life, pain control, and the ethical issues of gastrointestinal cancer treatment among the general public, patients with gastrointestinal cancers, their family members, and medical staff via surveys.

It is necessary for the park tree manager to have the current information about the status of trees, which can help him with right decisions. However, there are many problems in the existing management method such as huge amount of data, tedious work, and the difficult update work due to the lack of necessary data or the inappropriate data record and management method. The sole use of database management system(DBMS) cannot slove these problems because it cannot handle graphic data based on the locational information. So, it is imperative for the park manager to have locational data as well as attribute data of the park tree concerned. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop the personal computer-based, user friendly park tree management information system, which deals with attribute data(DBMS) and graphic data(using the CAD) together within the integrated environment. The park tree management information system developed in this study provides a complete operating environment for data input, update, query, delete, and retrieve. The major advantages of this system are as follows: 1) To search the location and distribution of trees. 2) To record, store, and manage data easily. 3) When the manager is changed, delivery of the park tree work is convenient. 4) The system can help the manager with the correct information for the efficient park tree management.
The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare visiting intentions by positive and negative Word-of-Mouth (WOM) and/or information of beauty shop between female college students and adult women. Data were collected from 500 consumers (250 from female students and 250 adult women) and was analyzed by using frequencies, factor analysis, t-tests and multiple regression utilizing SPSS/PC+. The findings revealed positive experience factors to prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, kindness/operating system in waiting time, added services, employees' attitudes, excellent beauty and response skill, rational price and recall system/remind for customer. The negative experiences were inconsistent service, operators' convenient service, irrational price/poor skill/non-recall, non-customer central service, inappropriate face-to-face management to customer. Also, the results showed that the positive WOM information such as prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, excellent beauty and response skill and rational price had influence on the visiting intention in case of female college students. The negative WOM information like non-customer central service, had influence on the visiting intention in cases of adult women.

Cloud computing is a widely used technology that has changed the way people and organizations store and access information. This technology is quite versatile, which is why extensive amounts of data can be stored in the cloud. Furthermore, businesses can access various services over the cloud without having to install applications. However, the cloud computing services are provided over a public domain, which means that both trusted and non-trusted users can access the services. Though there are several advantages of cloud computing services, especially to business owners, various challenges are also posed in terms of the privacy and security of information and online services. A kind of threat that is widely faced in the cloud environment is the on/off attack. In this kind of attack, a few entities exhibit proper behavior for a given time period to develop a highly a positive reputation and gather trust, after which they exhibit deception. A viable solution is provided by the given trust model for preventing the attacks. This method works by providing effective security to the cloud services by identifying malicious and inappropriate behaviors through the application of trust algorithms that can identify on-off attacks.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to assess the statistical methods errors used in the journal of Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine(JORM) and to identify the types of errors in statistical analysis. Methods : We reviewed quantitative articles that were published in the JORM from January 2005 through October 2009. Those were not used by statistical analysis such as literature studies, case study, review articles were not included in this analysis. A total of 296 articles was reviewed. We evaluated the adequacy and the validity of the statistical techniques with our checklist established be modified Lee's checklist, and three statistical evaluators assessed together to minimize bias. Results : Of the 222 articles, 213 were used in inferential and descriptive statistics. Of those 80% of articles adopting descriptive and inferential statistics were detected having statistical errors. One articles used 1.7 statistical method unit generally. Most frequently employed statistics were student t-test, one way ANOVA. pearson correlation analysis, Mann-whitney U test, paired t-test, and chi-square test in their order. However, most frequent statistics having errors were similar in order. The most common statistic errors were as follow: 1. absence of normality test, 2. misuse between paired test and unpaired test, 3. wrong choice of repeated measures analysis without consideration of time variables, 4, increase of Type I error by using inappropriate multiple test, 5. inappropriate application of discrete or categorical data instead of continuous data in correlation analysis, 6. poor consideration of basic consumption in chi-square test, 7. confusion between frequency comparison and average comparison, 8. mentioning the statistical technique without using it. Conclusions : We found various mistake or misuses in the applications of statistical methodologies in the articles published in the JORM. Careful consideration of statistical use and review from the specialist of statistics are warranted for improving the quality of JORM.
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate chief complaints of pediatric outpatients .Fin the oriental hospital and search for a trend of patients and their symtoms. Method : The study was composed of 2,915 new patients aged between 0 and 20 who had been visited pediatrics in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university oriental hospital from 2001 to 2004. Results : The percentage of new patients decreased every year with 30.7% in 2001, 25.5% in 2002, 24.1% in 2003, 17.8% in 2004. The age distribution showed 9.9% in infancy patients, 62.6% in early childhood, 16.8% in late childhood, 10.6% in adolescence. The percentage of infants decreased every year with 13.3% in 2001, 9.4% in 2002, 8.8% in 2003, 7.1% in 2004. The percentage of adolescents increased every year with 8.0% in 2001, 9.6% in 2002, 12.8% in 2003, 13.5% in 2004. Systemic division of chief complaints was respiratory symtoms(37.6%), general symtoms(26.1%), digestive symtoms(19.2%), skin symtoms(6.8%), nervous and mental symtoms (6.1%), urinary symtoms(2.2%), musculoskeletal symtoms(1.3%) and others(0.7%) in order of frequency. The main chief complaints were nasal mucus/obstruction(17.5%), weakness(16.9%), cough(12.8%), loss of appetite(9.8%), inappropriate growth(4.3%), atopic skin problem(3.4%), repeated common cold(2.4%), abdominal pain(2.4%), vomiting (2.2%), diarrhea(2.0%) and fever (1.9%). Loss of appetite, inappropriate growth and repeated common cold increased every year. Diarrhea and convulsion decreased every year. The competence of enterprise for managing information is evaluated not by the amount of information but by the quality of information such as response time, data consistency, and data correctness. The degradation of data quality is usually caused by the inappropriate process of managing the structure and value of stored data. According to the recent survey on the actual condition of data quality management, the correctness and consistency of data appeared to be the most problematic area among the six criteria of data quality management such as correctness, consistency, availability, timeliness, accessibility, and security. Moreover, the problem was more serious in case of small and medium-sized companies than large enterprises. In this paper, therefore, we attempt to propose a new data quality control methodology for small and medium-sized companies that can improve the correctness and consistency of data without consuming too much time and cost. To adopt the proposed methodology to real application immediately, we provided some scripts for as-is analysis and devised automation tools for managing naming rules of vocabulary, terminology, and data code. Additionally, we performed case study on the distribution service of a small-sized company to estimate the applicability of our tool and methodology.
3D convolution is to stack multiple consecutive frames to form a cube, and then apply the 3D convolution kernel in the cube. In this structure, each feature map of the convolutional layer is connected to multiple adjacent sequential frames in the previous layer, thus capturing the motion information. However, due to the changes of pedestrian posture, motion and position, the convolution at the same place is inappropriate, and when the 3D convolution kernel is convoluted in the time domain, only time domain features of three consecutive frames can be extracted, which is not a good enough to get action information. This paper proposes an action recognition method based on feature fusion of 3D convolutional neural network. Based on the VGG16 network model, sending a pre-acquired optical flow image for learning, then get the time domain features, and then the feature of the time domain is extracted from the features extracted by the 3D convolutional neural network. Finally, the behavior classification is done by the SVM classifier.

Data so as to meet key values are preserved at Column-Family Stores such as Cassandra, HBase, Hypertable, and Amazon Simple DB in the Big Data environment. In this paper, with referring to Cassandra, we define column-family data stores and its structure. And then, we check out their characteristics such as consistency, transaction, availability, retrieval function (basic queries and advance queries) with CQL (Cassandra Query Language), and expandability. Also, we appropriate or inappropriate subjects for application of column-family stores.
