This study, Using Pusan clay, examined a relationship between Dynamic and Static Liquid Tests. The Static Liquid Tests were carried out based on BS and JIS. The results of the study are summarized as follows. (1) The result of the Dynamic Liquid Limit Test showed that the liquid limit values of Natural condition soil were greater than those of oven-dried soil by $4\%\~15\%$. (2) The liquid limit value of the Static Liquid Limit Test was greater than that of the Dynamic Liquid Limit Test by $2\%\~9\%$. The following equations show the relationship between tile two values. WL, Fall(JIS)=0.961$\cdot$WL, Cas+4.209, WL, Fall(BS)=0.969$\cdot$WL, Cas+5.024, (3) The liquid limit value of BS was greater than that of JIS by $1\%\~6\%$. The following equation shows the relationship between the two values. WL, Fall(BS)=0.976WL, Fall(JIS)+2.638.
In order to promote utilization of the Yangha (Zinger mioga Rosc.) as functional food and natural spices, and 95.93%, from the dried one 7.63%, and from powder 9.81%, respectively. Crude protein content from the Yangha powder was 11.21%, and contents of crude fat, crude ash and crude fiber were 2.44%,10.78%, and 14.47%, respectively. Most of compositions from Yangha powder were higher than those from raw and the dried one, except fer water content. Antioxidative effect was investigated through Rancimat and DPPH methods. Oxidative stability of Yangha powder was the highest of4.21Al. Furthermore, the free radical scavenging activity of Yangha powder (76.61%) was higher than that of raw (49.35%) or the dried one (61.78%). Volatile flavor compounds of Yangha was extracted by steam distillation and extraction method. The extracts were analyzed and identified by gas chromatography and GC-MS spectrometry. One hundred twenty two volatile flavor components were identified, and the major component was terpene compounds including ${\alpha}$-pinene, ${\beta}$-pinene, ${\beta}$-phellandrene, 1,4-terpineol, and ${\beta}$-terpinene.
This paper proposes a new data hiding scheme for binary image authentication with minimizing the distortion of host image. Based on the Hamming-Code-Based data embedding algorithm, the proposed scheme makes it possible to embed authentication information into host image with only flipping small number of pixels. To minimize visual distortion, the proposed scheme only modifies the values of the flippable pixels that are selected based on Yang et al's flippablity criteria. In addition to this, by randomly shuffling the bit-order of the authentication information to be embedded, only the designated receiver, who has the secret key that was used for data embedding, can extract the embedded data. To show the superiority of the proposed scheme, the two measurement metrics, the miss detection rate and the number of flipped pixels by data embedding, are used for the comparison analysis between the proposed scheme and the previous schemes. As a result of analysis, it has been shown that the proposed scheme flips smaller number of pixels than the previous schemes to embed the authentication information of the same bit-length. Moreover, it has been shown that the proposed scheme causes smaller visual distortion and more resilient against recent steg-analysis attacks than the previous schemes by the experimental results.

E-glass fiber is the most widely used glass fiber for reinforced composite materials of aircrafts, automobiles and leisure equipments. But recently researches are being progressed to reduce boric oxide from 8 % to 0 (zero), as is called 'Boron free E-glass', because of increasing material cost, environmental problem, and improving chemical resistance and mechanical properties of E-glass fiber. In this study, we fabricated the bulk glass and fiber glass of 'Boron free E-glass (BF) compositions', and characterized thermal properties and optical properties. 'Boron free E-glass (BF)' was obtained by the melting of mixed batch materials at $1550^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs with different $Al_2O_3$ compositions 5~10 %. We obtained transparent clear glass with high visible light transmittance value of 81~86 %, and low thermal expansion coefficient of $4.2{\sim}4.9{\times}10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$ and softening point of $907{\sim}928^{\circ}C$. For the chemical resistance test of 'BF' fiber samples, we identified that the higher alumina contents gives the better corrosion resistance of glass fiber.
New PPV derivatives which contain electron-withdrawing CF3F4phenyl group, poly[2-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-5-(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (CF3F4P-PPV), and poly[2-(4-(2-etylhexyloxy)-phenyl)-5-(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (P-CF3F4P-PPV), have been synthesized by GILCH polymerization. As the result of the introduction of the electron-withdrawing CF3F4phenyl group to the phenyl backbone, the LUMO and HOMO energy levels of CF3F4P-PPV (3.14, 5.50 eV) and P-CF3F4P-PPV (3.07, 5.60 eV) were reduced. The PL emission spectra in solid thin film are more red-shifted over 50 nm and increased fwhm (full width at half maximum) than solution conditions by raising aggregation among polymer backbone due to electron withdrawing effect of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl group. The EL emission maxima of CF3F4P-PPV and P-CF3F4P-PPV appear at around 530-543 nm. The current density-voltage-luminescence (J-V-L) characteristics of ITO/PEDOT/polymer/Al devices of CF3F4P-PPV and P-CF3F4P-PPV show that turn-on voltages are around 12.5 and 7.0 V, and the maximum brightness are about 82 and 598 cd/m2, respectively. The maximum EL efficiency of P-CF3F4P-PPV (0.51 cd/A) was higher than that of CF3F4P-PPV (0.025 cd/A).
Purpose: The objective of this study is to develop an algorithm for estimation of tumor dose using measured transmission dose as a part of the development of on-line dosimetry system. Materials and Methods: Data of transmission dose were measured under various FS, Tp and PCD with a special water phantom for 6 MV and 10 MV X-ray. SCD (source-chamber distance) was set to 150 cm. Measurements were conducted with a 0.125 cc ion chamber. Results: Using measured data and regression analysis, two algorithms were developed for estimation of expected reading for measured data. Algorithm 1 consisted of the quadratic function of PCD and the tertiary function of AlP (area-perimeter ratio). Algorithm 2 consisted of the tertiary function of log(A/P)and the tertiary function of PCD. Algorithm 2 required less data set and was more accurate in comparing expected and observed dose. Conclusion: Using the algorithm developed, transmission dose can be estimated for any exposure condition, i.e. any given Tp, PCD and FS with high accuracy. To complete this algorithm, further developments are needed regarding the beam modifying device, the tissue inhomogeneity and the irregular body surface.

This study was carried out to make a search for the usefulness of marigold plants (Tagetes erecta) as a natural dye. And we have also examined into the dyeability and antifungal activity of silk and cotton fabrics dyed with 2% powdered colorant and 1% liquid colorant. Almost surface colors of silk and cotton fabrics dyed with 2% powdered colorant and that dyed with 1% liquid colorant except for that treated Cu and Fe with mordants were shown by Y-level. $L^*$ values of silk fabrics dyed with 2% powdered colorant were 66.2 to 86.39, those $a^*$ values were -1.97 to 6.09, and those $b^*$ values were 13.69 to 35.97. And $L^*$ values of cotton fabrics dyed with 2% powdered colorant were 78.97 to 89.62, those a values were -3.39 to 0.38, and those $b^*$ values were 5.63 to 15.61 $L^*$ values of silk fabrics dyed with 1% liquid colorant were 34.37 to 85.57, those a values were -7.79 to 12.33, and those $b^*$ values were 15.13 to 82.91, And $L^*$ values of cotton fabrics dyed with 1% liquid colorant were 44.12 to 87.90, those $a^*$ values were -8.37 to 6.18, and those $b^*$ values were 11.65 to 78.87. Colorfastness of silk fabrics against light treated nothing with mordants and that dyed with 1% liquid colorant decreased for a little by second grade, however, that against washing, rubbing, perspiration and dry cleaning were increased over fourth grade. Colorfastness of cotton fabrics in terms of rubbing, light, and dry cleaning, except for washing and perspiration, were shown by over third grade, when that was treated nothing with mordants. Antifungal activities of silk fabrics treated nothing with mordants and dyed with 1% liquid colorant of marigold extracts were shown by 28.9% against Staphylococcus aureus. However, those of Al, Ca, Cu and tartaric acid mordanting were more than 25.5% against Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

This paper presents a disposable power generator for microfluidic devices; the power generator has a tubular PEMFC and a $H_2$ generator. The tubular PEMFC has a tubular MEA (diameter: 1.52 mm) that is supported by a spiral wire electrode. The $H_2$ generator supplied $H_2$ to the tubular PEMFC; $H_2$ was generated via the reaction of Al foil (27 mg) and 5 M NaOH (0.12 ml). The open circuit voltage and power density of a unit cell of the tubular PEMFC were 0.81 V and $16.4\;mW/cm^2$ (0.35 V), respectively. The $H_2$ generator generated 11.6 ml $H_2$ for 15min. The power generator was continuously operated for 15 min at 0.64 mW (0.71 V) and for 10 min at 1.06 mW (0.46 V). We experimentally verified that it is feasible to use the proposed power generator as a power source for microfluidic devices; in the experiment, an LED (2.5 mW; 1.8 V) was lit for 10 min by using three serially connected TPEMFCs and one $H_2$ generator.

In this study, spherical monodispersed cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG : $Ce^{3+}$) phosphor particles were synthesized via homogeneous precipitation method using the mixed solution of yttrium nitrate, cerium nitrate, aluminum nitrate, ammonium aluminum sulfate, and urea as a precipitant. During the process of precursors of monodispersed YAG : $Ce^{3+}$, aluminum ions which form spherical aluminum compounds precipitated first and yttrium compounds precipitated onto the surface of the existing spherical aluminum compounds. Drying process using lyophilization could obtain monodispered spherical YAG : $Ce^{3+}$ particles compare to using oven. The thermal calcination process of YAG : $Ce^{3+}$ precursors under the temperature of $1200^{\circ}C$ for 6 h was enough to obtain 400~500 nm sized YAG particles with pure YAG phase.
