  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supportive nursing care on the level of knowledge and compliance with sick-role behavior in patients with coronary artery disease after coronary angiography (CAG). Methods: A quasi-experimental research was performed with 81 subjects with coronary artery disease who were admitted for CAG to a cardiovascular department. Among the selected subjects, 40 of them were assigned to experimental group and the rest of them were assigned to control group by convenience. Supportive nursing care was implemented twice by a researcher. Results: 1. The mean score of knowledge related to coronary artery disease was higher in the group who received supportive nursing care than that of the control group (t=2.259, p=.027). 2. The mean score of compliance of sick role behavior was higher in the group who received supportive nursing care than that of the control group (t=4.580, p=.001). Conclusion: The supportive nursing care after CAG was effective in increasing the knowledge level and compliance of sick-role behavior in patients with coronary artery disease. Further studies would be recommended to identify long-term effectiveness of supportive care on patients' outcomes.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how gender role attitudes affect clothing involvement and clothing consumption behaviors in young female generation by changing the traditional sex role stereotype. For the research, the survey was conducted for a month from June 15 to July 15, 2009. Data was collected a total of 368 questionnaires from 20's female university students and analyzed 301 questionnaires with SPSS 12.0. The results were as follows. First, the results of factor analysis on gender role attitudes confirmed the multifactorial theory of gender schema: modern masculinity, conservative gender roles, modern feminity based on emotion, gender role openness, and traditional feminity. Second, gender role attitude of female university students was a little conservative but flexible to accommodate masculinity and active in the emotion expression. Third, gender role attitudes had important effects on clothing involvement which was identified into 4 different factors; fashion involvement, clothing interest, performance risk, and social psychological risk. Fourth, gender role attitudes were related with clothing consumption behaviors as like shopping orientation, on-going information search behavior and brand loyalty because of needs for innovation, exhibition and differentiation. Therefore, it was concluded that not only 'androgynous' from modern feminity based on emotion but also 'masculinity' was applied to important fashion marketing strategic tools by statically affecting female consumer's clothing involvement and clothing behaviors.

  • D. W. Organ(1977) published a paper about the importance of Organizational Citizenship Behavior(OCB) in an organization. Since then, the studies of OCB have been continuously increased. As recent business environment has changed with rapidity and uncertainty, OCB for the improvement performance of organization should be more emphasized. Role behaviors of organization are divided into two parts such as in-role behavior and extra-role behavior. In recent, although the researches about extra-role behavior have been studied, they are still not sufficient. This study attempted to examine relationships between organizational culture, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, Sample was 193 employee engaged in hospitals of Pusan. In this study I chose four factor(affective, conservative, task and innovative culture) of organizational culture and three factors (affective, continuous and normative commitment) of organizational commitment and five factors(altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, civic virtue and sportsmanship) with regard to organization citizenship behavior. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; 1. The Causal relation of dimensions of organizational culture and dimensions of OCB. 1) Affective culture has significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. 2) Conservative culture has no significant impact on all of OCB. 3) Task culture has significant impact on conscientiousness, civic virtue, sportsmanship of OCB. 4) Innovative culture has no significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. 2. The Causal relation of dimensions of organizational commitment and dimensions of OCB. 1) Affective commitment has significant impact on all of OCB. 2) Continuous commitment has no significant impact on all of OCB. 3) Normative commitment has significant impact on courtesy, civic virtue of OCB. In brief, though this study has several limitations in research design and methods, the results suggest that organizational culture of hospitals and organizational comitment of hospitals shows a strong relationship to the organization citizenship behavior.

Also investigated the relationship among these variables and condition variables. For this purpose, used the Second Grade longitudianl Panel data of Middle School from the Korea Youth Panel Survay(KYPS). And the latent growth model was analyzed 3,449 men and women adolescents' cases of the first, the fourth and the sixth wave of the Korea Youth Panel Survey(KYPS) administered by Korea Institute for Youth development. And the structural equation model was used to investigate whether self-esteem mediates parental rearing behavior and male and female gender role Strerotype. The results of this study, the direct effect between variable factors showed that the more positive the parenting behavior of the second grader of middle school is, the more positive the self-esteem of male adolescents and the initial value of stereotypes of male gender role. It also affects the self-esteem of female adolescents and stereotypes of female gender roles but not statistically significant. The male gender role stereotypes were decreased in influence by the rate of change of parental rearing behaviors, and the initial value and the rate of change of self-esteem were statistically influenced to the male gender role stereotypes and the higher the self-esteem, the higher the self-esteem. However, there was no significant effect on stereotypes of female gender roles. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect of self-esteem, partially mediated between the initial value of parental rearing behavior and initial stereotype of male gender role, but there was no longitudinal mediation effect. There was no mediating effect of self-esteem between parental rearing behaviors and stereotypes of female gender roles and there was no longitudinal mediation effect. The effect of condition variable gender was found that female adolescents are more affected by paretal rearing behavior than male adolescents and also affected by the growth process. The monthly income of households influenced the initial value of parental rearing behaviors and showed a difference in parental rearing behavior according to household income. And the higher the mother 's educational level, the more the self-esteem of male adolescents was affected.

  • Purpose Although examining the antecedents of employees' extra-role behavior (i.e. information security participation behavior) in the information security context is significant for researchers and practitioners, most behavioral security studies have focused on employees' in-role behavior (i.e. information security policy compliance). Thus, this research addresses this gap by investigating how organizational information security climate influences information security participation behavior based on social information processing theory and Griffin and Neal's safety model. Design/methodology/approach We developed a research model by applying Griffin and Neal's safety model to the information security context and then tested our research model by conducting an online survey for employees of organizations with information security policies. Structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.3.2 is used to test the corresponding hypothesis. Findings Our results show that organizational information security climate, information security knowledge, information security motivation are effective in motivating information security participation behavior. Also, we find that organizational information security climate positively influences both information security knowledge and information security motivation. Our findings emphasize the importance of organizational information security climate because it is capable of affecting employees on information security participation behavior. Our study contributes to the literature on information security by exploring the role of organizational information security climate in enhancing employees' information security participation behavior.

  • This study examined whether family-friendly policies at work moderate the association between fathers' gender role attitudes and their affectionate parenting behaviors. The data was derived from the Panel Study of Korean Children. The samples included 1,164 fathers who participated in the seventh and eighth panel studies. To analyze the data, Pearson's correlations, multi-regression, and simple slope analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro. The key findings of the study were as follows: Among family-friendly policies, the paternity leave and a flexible work system moderated the association between gender role attitudes and affectionate parenting behavior. Such family-friendly policies strengthened fathers' affectionate parenting, and gender role attitudes tended to be egalitarian in this case. The results of the present study showed that fathers' affectionate parenting behavior reflected their egalitarian gender role attitudes and particularly emphasized the importance of the role of family-friendly policies in providing fathers with autonomous time use.
