전자유압 서보 유량제어밸브의 설계 및 동특성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and the Dynamic Characteristics of Electro-Hydraulic Flow Control Servo Valve)

  • An experimental and theoretical analysis for the improvement of dynamic characteristics and design of electro-hydraulic flow control servo valve are performed. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental step responses, and the important design parameters of an electro-hydraulic flow control servo valve are derived by using the simulation program. Simulation parameters of nozzle jet coefficient and orifice and spool valve discharge coefficient are given through experiment. The theoretical and experimental step response curves show that the valve gain depends on the fixed orifice and nozzle $ratio(R_on)$ and is maximum at $R_on=1.$ And drain orifice in the flapper - nozzle return line creates a small back pressure, which improves the performance fur the valve.

  • A transient hydraulic flow rate computation scheme is described here so that the transient hydraulic flow rate can be determined using the dynamic pressure measurements at the ends of a straight flow line with a dynamic model of the hydraulic line. This method can be applied to determine the orifice ares of high response valve. Simulation results indicate that the method is relatively robust to realistic levels of uncertainties in the fluid properties.

  • The effects of swirl chamber's diameter and length on injector's dynamic characteristics were investigated through an experimental study. A mechanical pulsator was installed in front of the manifold of a swirl injector which produces pressure oscillations in the feed line. Pressure in the manifold, liquid film thickness in the orifice and the pressure in the orifice were measured in order to understand the dynamic characteristic of the simplex swirl injector with varying geometry. A direct pressure measuring method (DPMM) was used to calculate the axial velocity of the propellant in the orifice and the mass flow rate through the orifice. These measured and calculated values were analyzed to observe the amplitude and phase differences between the input value in the manifold and the output values in the orifice. As a result, a phase-amplitude diagram was obtained which exhibits the injector's response to certain pressure fluctuation inputs. The mass flow rate was calculated by the DPMM and measured directly through the actual injection. The effect of mean manifold pressure change was insignificant with the frequency range of manifold pressure oscillation used in this experiment. Mass flow rate was measured with the variation of injector's geometries and amplitude of the mass flow rate was observed with geometry and pulsation frequency variation. It was confirmed that the swirl chamber diameter and length affect an injector's dynamic characteristics. Furthermore, the direction of geometry change for achieving dynamic stability in the injector was suggested.

  • In this study, a numerical analysis was performed to simulate the thermal-hydraulic response of the secondary side of a steam generator(SG) model equipped with an orifice-type SG outlet flow restrictor to a main steam line break(MSLB) at a pressurized water reactor(PWR) plant. The SG analysis model includes the SG upper steam space and the part of the main steam pipe between the SG outlet and the broken pipe end. By comparing the numerical calculation results for the present SG model to those obtained for a simple SG model having no flow restrictor, the effects of the flow restrictor on the thermal-hydraulic response of SG to the MSLB were investigated.

  • This paper is to investigate on the effects of the hole size of spring type EFV(excessive flow valve) for automobiles The analytical and experimental methods were employed to measure the discharge coefficient. choked flowrate and Pressure wave in a bombe, line and vaporizor The size of EFV was determined to meet the legally permitted limits with the capacity of engine displacement up to 2000cc, according to the obtained discharge coefficient. The Purpose of this paper is 1) to find causes of bad acceration performance in LPG engines 2) to find optimal design determination of spring coefficient and orifice hole size of excessive flow valve in LPG engine 3) to find pressure wave of bombe, line and vaporizer through expeimental verification. Experimental results indicated that increase of orifice size 0.5mm to 1mm be caused to increase discharge coefficient, and choked flow rate and decrease operation range of difference pressure wave.

RF 플라즈마에 의해 생성된 산소 플라즈마의 발광 스펙트럼 (Optical Emission Spectra of Oxygen Plasma Produced by Radio-Frequency Plasma)

  • 본 연구에서는 ZnO 박막을 성장하기 위한 plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (PAMBE)에 장착된 플라즈마건에 13.56 MHz의 rf 전력을 인가하였을 때 발생되는 산소 플라즈마의 발광 스펙트럼을 광발광 분광기(optical emission spectroscopy: OES)를 이용하여 조사하였다. 실험은 산소 가스 유량을 1 sccm에서 20 sccm, rf 전력을 25W에서 250 W 범위에서 플라즈마건의 오리피스의 직경을 각각 3 mm 와 5 mm로 달리하여 행해졌다. 산소 플라즈마를 발생시켰을 때 오리피스의 직경에 상관없이 전형적인 산소 플라즈마의 발광 스펙트럼이 관측되었다. 특히 776.8 nm와 843.9 nm에서 $3p^{5}P-3s^{5}S^{0}$, $3p^{3}P-3s^{3}S^{0}$ 천이에 기인하는 강한 산소 원자 발광선이 관측되었다. 산소 유량과 rf 파워가 증가함에 따라 776.8 nm와 843.9 nm의 발광 세기는 증가하였고, 776.8 nm의 스펙트럼 발광 세기의 증가율이 843.9 nm의 스펙트럼 발광 세기 증가율보다 컸다. 또한 오리피스 직경이 3 mm일 때가 5 mm일 때보다 산소 플라즈마가 더 안정적으로 발생하였다.

단일추진제 추진시스템의 과도기유체 해석 (A FLUID TRANSIENT ANALYSIS FOR THE PROPELLANT FLOW IN A MONOPROPELLANT PROPULSION SYSTEM)

  • A fluid transient analysis for the propellant flow in a monopropellant propulsion system is conducted by using the method of characteristics(MOC). It reviews algebraic simultaneous equations method and Cramer's rule method utilized to drive the compatible and characteristic equations to understand MOC extensively. The identification of fluid transient phenomena of propulsion system of Koreasat 1 is carried out through parametric studies. The valve response time is one of the dominant parameters governing the fluid transient phenomena. The results show that the shorter closing time induces the greater pressure response amplitude. And it shows that the installation of in-line orifice is effectively to limit the fluid transients in rapid valve response time and at high pressure. But it seems that the effect of orifice weakens at slow valve response time and at low pressures.

  • Through experimental works, the damping force vibration problem was investigated, which results from valve and surge pressure in the oil return line of the hydraulic circuit of an active suspension system in a passenger cu. Experiments were carried out under passive system, where an orifice valve was closed and non-active system, where an orifice valve was opened, using a pressure control valve controlled by solenoid. The effects of parameters of the valve overlap and accumulator on smoothing surge pressure was elucidated. It was proved that the apparent variation of damping force due to the overlap amount of pressure control valve is the most important factor to control the damping force variation. The procedure of the experimental works shows the development process of a proportional pressure control valve in the hydraulics system of an active suspension system of passenger car.

Cone beam형 전산화단층촬영장치를 이용한 하악 제1대구치 근심 치근의 danger zone에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of danger zone in mesial root of mandibular first molar by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT))

  • Purpose: To examine the danger zone of mesial root of mandibular first molar of patient without extraction using CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) to avoid the risk of root perforation. Materials and Methods: 20 mandibular first molars without caries and restorations were collected, CT images were obtained by CBCT ($PSR9000N^{TM}$, Asahi Roentgen Co., Japan), reformed and analyzed by V-work 5.0 (CyberMed Inc., Korea), Distance between canal orifice and furcation was measured. In cross sectional images at 3, 4 and 5 mm below the canal orifice, distal wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-D), distal wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-D), distal wall thickness of central part (C-D), mesial wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-M) and mesial wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-M) were measured, Results: The mean distance between the canal orifice and the furcation of the roots is 2.40 mm, Distal wall is found to be thinner than mesial wall. Mean dentinal wall thickness of distal wall is about 1 mm, The wall thickness is thinner as the distance from the canal orifice is farther. But significant differences are not noted between 4 mm and 5 mm in MB-D and C-D, MB-D is thinner than ML-D although the differences is not significant. Conclusion: The present study confirmed the anatomical weakness of distal surface of the coronal part of the mesial roots of mandibular first molar by CBCT and provided an anatomical guide line of wall thickness during endodontic treatment.

LabView를 이용한 자동유량제어 시스템의 개발 (Development of automatic flow control system based on LabView)

  • A flow control system was designed and fabricated to control the flow rate of liquid through the pipe. This control system was composed of hardwares and software, hardwares as controller, gate valve, orifice meter and data aquisition board and software as National instruments Labview program. Control of flow rate was executed by adjusting the pneumatic valve located at the center of pipe line based on the control signal generated by LabView PID control algorithm, which converts analog signal measured by pressure difference of orifice to digital signal to adjust pneumatic valve. For the controller setup Ziegler-Nichols tuning technique was applied and control performances were investigated for not only the disturbance but also the set point changes. Developed system showed good control performances in flow control enough to use as teaching tool of feedback control theory and practice in university, and also as industrial application.
