Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the size and morphology of mandibular condyle and mandibular fossa between temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc displacement (DD) patients and healthy subjects using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: Twenty healthy subjects and twenty TMJ DD patients participated in this study respectively. We made five measurements in mandibular condyle (medio-lateral dimension, antero-posterior dimension, condyle height, intercondylar distance and intercondylar angle) and two measurements in mandibular fossa (mandibular fossa depth and articular eminence angle) using CBCT image. Results: There was no difference between two groups in medio-lateral dimension. In case of antero-posterior dimension, average of healthy controls was larger than that of TMJ DD patients, but that was not significant statistically. There were no significant differences between two groups in condyle height. Comparing intercondylar distance and intercondylar angle between two groups, there was no significant difference between two groups. In comparison of mandibular fossa depth and articular eminence angle, there was no significant difference between two groups. Conclusions: We couldn't find any definite relationship between TMJ morphology and TMJ DD.

In order to analyze the characteristics of series arcs that could happen in poor connections of electrical facilities, we made an apparatus which is similar to actual situation. series arcs are generated between copper and copper, copper and bronze, copper and brass, bronze and bronze, and then oxidation growth and voltage waveform were measured. A very small vibration with constant movement is needed to grow oxidation initially, whereas oxidation growth proceeded without a vibration after a certain amount of time. At first, blue white flame was generated initially between copper and copper, and then yellow flame was generated. In case of contact between copper and copper, the length of oxidation growth was about 7.1[mm] in 90[min]. In case of contact between copper and brass, the length of oxidation growth was about 4.3[mm] in 90[min], When bronze is contacted with copper, the lengths of oxidation growth were about 1.4[mm] in 20[min] and 2.7[mm] in 40[min] respectively, and no more oxidation growth was shown after that. In case of contact between brass and brass, the length of oxidation growth was about 1.2[mm] in 90[min], so it was the smallest compared to other cases. When copper is contacted with copper, the current through the load was about 1.6[A] and the power dissipation increased from 19[W] to 31[W]. In case of oxidation growth between copper and brass, the voltage changed from 8.4[V] to 11[V]. However, the voltage drop and the power dissipation between copper and brass were small compared to oxidation growth between copper and copper. When series arcs were generated between bronze and copper, a peak was shown at the beginning of voltage increase, and 40[min] later, oxidation material was not grown any longer. When oxidation growth occurred, voltage waveform showed irregular waveforms with tiny ripples.

Variations of individual hip shapes are a major obstacle in pattern making for fitness. The drafting method is used for pattern making in today's apparel industry. Whilst catering to a limited number of information such as waist and hip sizes, this method does not cater to variations in hip shape. This paper describes the analysis of hip shapes using 3D body model and tries to make sure the relationship between hip shape and pattern by calculating hip angle and dart amount. We achieved results in analyzing various hip shapes by extracting hip angle. Moreover, various hip shapes can be divided into three types(A, B and C) by the hip angle value($K_{sh}-K_{wsh}$). When we use computerized draping method to make a personalized pattern for a tigth skirt, we easily create complex dart lines automatically. Therefore we achieve the result of individual dart amount such as distance between dart lines and dart areas. C type of hip shape had short dart length, long distance between dart lines and a large amount of dart area. On the other hand, A type had long dart length, short distance between dart lines and small amount of dart area. B type had long length and long distance between dart lines and large amount of dart area. In traditional pattern making, distance between dart lines is usually proportional to amount of dart area because of similarity in dart line shape. In our pattern, there is no proportional relationship between dart line distance and dart area. This means that variations in hip shapes result in a wide variety of dart line curvature resulting in a wide range of dart area. By ensuring an accurate relationship between hip shape and pattern, it is possible to make patterns which result in clothing that not only fits well, but also exhibits other desirable properties.

In this paper, we study some equivalence relations between continuous frames in a Hilbert space ${\mathcal{H}}$. In particular, we seek two necessary and sufficient conditions under which two continuous frames are near. Moreover, we investigate a distance between continuous frames in order to acquire the closest and nearest tight continuous frame to a given continuous frame. Finally, we implement these results for shearlet and wavelet frames in two examples.
The principal objective of this study was to reveal the relationship between the menu management indicators and menu performance indicators in contract-foodservice operations. Menu indicators differed according to the type of business, type of contract, type of serving, and number of service lines. In accordance with the results of our correlation analysis, we noted significant correlations between menu performance indicators and menu management indicators. The first of these was the correlation between the food cost ration and meal counts, food loss, and the use of prepared vegetables. The second of these was the correlation between food cost per meal and forecasting error, food loss, and inventory turnover. The last of these correlations was the negative correlation between menu CSI(customer satisfaction index) and the use of prepared vegetables. According to the results of our canonical correlation analysis, 2 significant functions were identified. In the first function, we noted significant correlations between meal counts, use of prepared vegetables, food loss, and food cost ratio. Additionally, we noted significant correlations between forecasting error, inventory turnover, food loss, and food cost per meal in the second function. Menu management indicators had no influence on customer satisfaction.

In the comparison of difference of the single step length asymmetry between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05).
Orthopantomogram is commonly used to evaluate root parallelism. "Good parallelism" between roots is widely accepted as one of the guidelines of a successful orthodontic treatment. In case there was a large angle between crown axis and root axis, and if we valued only the position of crown in establishing occlusal relationship without considering of the situation of root, the problem of root arrangement between adjacent teeth would be occurred. The estimate of root parallelism in mesiodistal direction before and after orthodontic treatment must be emphasized. The intent of this study was to determine the clinical importance and correlation of the angle between crown axis and root axis. Orthopantomograms of 105 orthodontic patients being treated in Yonsei university were used in this study. Twenty-eight teeth in both maxilla and mandible were selected and analyzed quantitively to evaluate the angle between crown axis and root axis, and obtain the correlationship among the individual teeth. The results are as follows: 1. Among the teeth presenting normal distribution, the maxillary right canine showed the largest mean value( $5.73{\pm}4.42^{\circ}$), which was composed of the crown-root angles, and the mandibular left lateral incisor showed the smallest mean value( $0.60{\pm}3.76^{\circ}$). 2. The crown-root angles of the maxillary incisors and the first molars, and the mandibular central incisors and the first molars didn't show normal distribution and the ranges of these angles were dispersed. 3. Significant differences were present between the crown axis and the root axis except for lower first premolars. (p<0.05) 4. No significant difference was present for the crown-root angle between right and left side, (p<0.05) 5. No significant difference was present for the crown-root angle between male and female except for lower left first premolar. (p<0.05) 6. In the upper right quadrant, significant correlations were present between crown-root angles of the central incisor and lateral incisor, lateral incisor and canine. In the upper left quadrant, significant correlations were present between crown-root angles of the central incisor and lateral incisor. In the lower right quadrant, significant correlations were present between crown-root angles of the central incisor and lateral incisor, first molar and second molar. In the lower left quadrant, significant correlations were present between crown-root angles of the central incisor and lateral incisor, lateral incisor and canine, first molar and second molar.
