This study explores an innovative advertising technique on Bilibili, where product links are embedded as bullet comments visible only to mobile app users. The research involved 140 participants, divided equally between followers and non-followers of a popular influencer, 'Gourmet WanggangR.' These groups were further split, with half viewing a video containing the product link on the app and the other half via PC. The study revealed that influencer attachment significantly increased viewer immersion (transportation) and positively influenced attitudes towards the content, which in turn elevated purchase intentions. Importantly, the influencer's followers showed a stronger attachment and more favorable attitudes towards the content, alongside a heightened likelihood to purchase the advertised product. The presence of the product link further accentuated these effects among the influencer's followers. Conversely, in the absence of the link, the correlation between influencer attachment and content attitude was less pronounced. These findings highlight the effectiveness of embedding product links in video content as a marketing strategy, particularly when targeting an influencer's followers through mobile platforms.

This study aimed to identify characteristics of Generation MZ's consumer purchase decision journey to develop the new fashion CDJ model. The initial stage was affected by habit, online community, social media, aesthetics, circumstantial need, and proxy. In the search and consideration stage, mobile channels were used actively. In the active search and evaluation stage, online media, experiential data, and personal information were employed. In the purchase stage, zoomers took plenty of time in search and evaluation before spending, contrary to millennials who made their purchases more quickly. In the post-purchase experience stage, zoomers actively displayed follow-up behaviors depending on their satisfaction, such as retaining or deleting the app. While, millennials did not turn away from the store or brand, but followed up on their purchases even when they had an unsatisfactory experience. Based on the characteristics of CDJ, iterative cycle CDJ models were developed. Zoomers CDJ model was presented as a search loop that consists of the search and evaluation process, in which information accumulates, and a purchase loop in which the actual purchase occurs. The iterative cycle CDJ model was presented connected to the loyalty loop as the main section, which is accelerated in millennials' CDJ model.
Personalized smart devices such as smartphones and smart pads are widely used. Unlike traditional feature phones, theses smart devices allow users to choose a variety of functions, which support not only daily experiences but also business operations. Actually, there exist a huge number of applications accessible by smart device users in online and mobile application markets. Users can choose apps that fit their own tastes and needs, which is impossible for conventional phone users. With the increase in app demand, the tastes and needs of app users are becoming more diverse. To meet these requirements, numerous apps with diverse functions are being released on the market, which leads to fierce competition. Unlike offline markets, online markets have a limitation in that purchasing decisions should be made without experiencing the items. Therefore, online customers rely more on item-related information that can be seen on the item page in which online markets commonly provide details about each item. Customers can feel confident about the quality of an item through the online information and decide whether to purchase it. The same is true of online app markets. To win the sales competition against other apps that perform similar functions, app developers need to focus on writing app descriptions to attract the attention of customers. If we can measure the effect of app descriptions on sales without regard to the app's price and quality, app descriptions that facilitate the sale of apps can be identified. This study intends to provide such a quantitative result for app developers who want to promote the sales of their apps. For this purpose, we collected app details including the descriptions written in Korean from one of the largest app markets in Korea, and then extracted keywords from the descriptions. Next, the impact of the keywords on sales performance was measured through our econometric model. Through this analysis, we were able to analyze the impact of each keyword itself, apart from that of the design or quality. The keywords, comprised of the attribute and evaluation of each app, are extracted by a morpheme analyzer. Our model with the keywords as its input variables was established to analyze their impact on sales performance. A regression analysis was conducted for each category in which apps are included. This analysis was required because we found the keywords, which are emphasized in app descriptions, different category-by-category. The analysis conducted not only for free apps but also for paid apps showed which keywords have more impact on sales performance for each type of app. In the analysis of paid apps in the education category, keywords such as 'search+easy' and 'words+abundant' showed higher effectiveness. In the same category, free apps whose keywords emphasize the quality of apps showed higher sales performance. One interesting fact is that keywords describing not only the app but also the need for the app have asignificant impact. Language learning apps, regardless of whether they are sold free or paid, showed higher sales performance by including the keywords 'foreign language study+important'. This result shows that motivation for the purchase affected sales. While item reviews are widely researched in online markets, item descriptions are not very actively studied. In the case of the mobile app markets, newly introduced apps may not have many item reviews because of the low quantity sold. In such cases, item descriptions can be regarded more important when customers make a decision about purchasing items. This study is the first trial to quantitatively analyze the relationship between an item description and its impact on sales performance. The results show that our research framework successfully provides a list of the most effective sales key terms with the estimates of their effectiveness. Although this study is performed for a specified type of item (i.e., mobile apps), our model can be applied to almost all of the items traded in online markets.

Existing studies for recommender have focused on recommending an appropriate item based on the customer preference. However, it has not yet been studied actively to recommend purchase timing for the repurchase product despite of its importance. This study aims to propose MLP and RNN models based on the only simple purchase history data to predict the timing of customer repurchase and compare performances in the perspective of prediction accuracy and quality. As an experiment result, RNN model showed outstanding performance compared to MLP model. The proposed model can be used to develop CRM system which can offer SMS or app based promotion to the customer at the right time. This model also can be used to increase sales for repurchase product business by balancing the level of order as well as inducing repurchase of customer.

In digital marketing, the strategic use of emojis in social media advertising, particularly on the Xiaohongshu app, significantly influences consumer acceptance and purchase behavior. This study examines the impact of emoji-laden advertisements and the role of brand metaphorical warmth on consumer perceptions. Employing a tailored questionnaire, the research explores how emojis affect brand advertisement reception, filling a gap in empirical research on emoji advertising effectiveness. Findings indicate that emojis, when used judiciously, enhance consumer acceptance and contribute to a positive brand perception. However, excessive use may undermine trust. Brand metaphorical warmth emerges as a crucial factor, suggesting that emojis can effectively convey warmth, fostering a deeper emotional connection with consumers. These insights offer practical implications for refining social media marketing strategies, advocating for a balanced approach to emoji usage in advertisements to optimize engagement and influence consumer behavior.
The purpose of this study is to reveal and compare the differences in the types and characteristics of purchase channel journeys of MZ generation consumers. In this study a survey was conducted on the purchase channel journey of 20 women in the MZ generation using the ethnographic method of in-depth interviews and observations. As a result, three purchase channel journeys were identified: mobile, multi-channel, and offline. These were variously subdivided according to the characteristics of the MZ generations. Gen Z's journey was categorized into types: fashion platform app, Youtube, multi-channel supplement, multi-channel non-planned store visit, offline loyalty store, and impulsive offline store. Gen M's journey was categorized as: an online community bond, portal site, online loyalty store, multi-channel brand involvement, multi-channel efficiency, a multi-channel conversion, offline efficiency and offline task. The difference in mobile journey between generations was found in the time and length of the purchase. Gen M recognized both online and offline search processes to be tiring, while Gen Z enjoyed the search process using the online path. In the offline journey Gen Z began with their own intention to purchase, while Gen M sometimes recognized that purchasing fashion products necessary for work was a cumbersome task.
Markets of e-book and app book in Korea see novel as genre literature and webtoon account for 80 percents in sales so that market share is too based towards some specific fields. In readiblily and easy-to-buy convenience, different from paper books mostly sold off-line, app books are more advantageous but it works as a weak point to take long to publicly spread them before they are generally accepted. Meanwhile, the sales of the e-book market in Korea has been steeply risen. Further, the market is not only restricted to genre literature but also has come into the stage that various experimental challenges are issued in the field of publication contents. This study is aimed at developing the sightseeing app book as a future web-mobile platform with planning and develping the first app book dealing with localized contents based on Busan tour contents, making up for its defect that it offers only current simple information and then suggesting a strategy that the travelers' app book should be available for constant utilization connected to purchase by charged download.

Nowadays, people consume a lot of content such as web dramas or K-pop videos through mobile devices such as smartphones, and the market for indirect advertisements through these web dramas or K-pop videos is also increasing every year. In order to lead to the immediate purchase of indirect products in web dramas, a system that allows consumers to purchase immediately at the time the products appear in the drama is needed. In this paper, we propose a system to allow viewers to purchase products worn by celebrities immediately when viewers see and click on them. When a user clicks on a video, it recognizes the product worn by the celebrity, and displays information on the screen on the most similar product corresponding to the recognized product, allowing them to go to the seller's site where they can purchase it. In order for such a system to operate stably, a pose estimation and siamese network-based system is proposed. The proposed system will primarily be released as a streaming service in the form of an app or web page that connects the products in web dramas or other K-pop video contents screened on the mobile with e-commerce. Furthermore, in the future, the technology is expected to be used globally in various industries such as smart mobility and display kiosks.
Today, consumers are interested in branded apps as new marketing channels. Consumers do not have ready access to information that will enable them to judge the quality of a particular product or service before purchase, but they will gain such information with branded apps. As they need to be actively chosen and downloaded to users' smartphone by the users themselves, branded apps have greater marketing effectiveness and influence than traditional channels. Therefore, corporations that place emphasis on interactions with customers anticipate a new marketing effect with their branded apps. With previous research on smartphone applications as a background, this research finds key factors in branded apps that influence users' satisfaction. Additionally, the study centers on the relationship in which satisfaction in the branded app significantly influences the purchase intention for the branded product/service.
