  • We develop the performance improving agent of penetration reinforcing applied on concrete by which main components use compounds of metal alkoxide and silicate(Ti). Also, we investigate on the type and amount of organic solvent which need the hydrolysis and water condensation reaction of Ti. The penetration reinforcing agent developed this study can penetrate deeper than 50mm without relation to concrete strength. Also the performance improving agent composed of the combination of Ti and organic solvent A, improve performance in keeping out or removement of deterioration material. waterproof and strength.

  • This paper proposes a new multipath interconnection network(MIN) structure for improving performance which uses widely in the design of multiprocessing, ATM system and VOD server. For improving performance such as passthrough ratio and packet latency, it proposes new routing method which routes one of the collided packets into the i+1-th switching stage of the adding Banyan MIN network when it occurred collision at the i-th switching stage of the basic MIN again when they collide each other. The new improved performance MIN network has been compared with MBSF, TBSF and PBSF structured MIN network from the viewpoint of passthrough ratio and the number of switching stage vs. passthrough ratio. It is shown to improve a performance and to be a simple structure which reducing the number of switching stage of adding MIN in comparison with other structured MIN including TBSF.

  • Since legalization of performance management system in Korea Government, it has been very diffused throughout in Local Governments. So it is needed check about acceptance of performance management system. The aim of this paper is to find application for policy and draw up improving the system after analyzing cause of acceptance of performance management system. In summary, it is empirically proven that fair institution, education program and sympathy among employee are needed. Moreover, improving suitable evaluation system for organizational culture and developing manual for drawing KPI are properly required. Improving acceptance of performance management system, reforming performance management system and continuation of the system are guaranteed by Legal.

  • Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs has implemented Construction CALS project for improving informationization level of construction industry and for making construction production system efficient. Although an importance of evaluation on level and performance of construction informationziation projects has been emerged, Construction CALS hasn't been evaluated so far. In this study, the performance indicators of construction CALS as the most important base in creating a performance management system were deduced. For this aim, this study reviewed the former researches on system construction for managing performance, analyzed current status of Construction CALS, arranged the relationship between upper strategies and ISP, developed pools of performance indicators, and this study followed IT BSC methodology. As a result, this study developed performance indicators of Construction CALS through four strategies such as globalization and activation of Construction CALS standards, research & development for reaching to international level in construction informationization technology, stabilization of system operation and distribution by publicizing Construction CALS and improving its functions, and policy implementation for managing and coordinating Construction CALS projects. These indicators will be applied to build a system of performance management.

  • In 2011, the 4th industrial revolution officially occurred and developed in most countries. The fourth industrial revolution has given organizations numerous business opportunities, enabling them to optimize their manufacturing processes, cut costs, and thereby improve their operations. The development of enterprises is a decisive factor in increasing national productivity, thereby improving economic growth and per capita income. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the digital transformation plan and apply science and technology to domestic enterprises and improve the operational efficiency of the economy. Research on small and medium enterprises in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is considered a successful country in economic development and digital transformation and has become a middle-income economy and a highly open economy, the research results suggest that the ability to apply technology in businesses is capable of improving corporate financial performance. The choice of capital structure favoring debt has a negative effect on the financial performance of the enterprise; that is, enterprises in Vietnam should limit the choice of financing investment projects with debt, on the contrary, enterprises should choose to finance with equity. Finally, the study also discusses managerial implications for improving business performance in the context of the rapidly evolving 4.0 technology revolution.

  • Like conventional railways, improving running performance of vehicle in curve is more effective than improving maximum speed to reduce traveling time. But some vehicles have problems concerning running performance in cure because of insufficient study for our conventional railway characteristics. So, these problems brought about increasement of maintenance cost. This study was started to deliberate several plans to solve problems concerning running performance in curve. Some modifications of primary suspension and tests were carried out to improve curve negotiation. Here, we describe some results.

A Study on the Perception and Improvement Plans of Performance Based Pay System of Elementary School Teachers and Elementary School Health Teachers (교원 성과급 제도에 대한 초등교사와 초등보건교사의 인식과 개선방안)

  • Purpose: The purpose is to provide basic information for establishing improvements on performance-based pay's evaluation method of health teachers. Methods: For subjects, 200 teachers at public elementary schools and 200 health teachers at public elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do were conveniently sampled, and then surveyed through a questionnaire. The questionnaire was to recognize recognition of teachers working under the teacher's performance-based pay system, which was quoted in the questionnaire of Choi ji-hye (2005) and Lee mi-gyeong (2008). Inquiry for the recognition of teachers on evaluation of health teacher's performance-based pay system and improvements on the performance-based pay's evaluation method of health teachers were used after consultation with five incumbent health teachers and a review with the thesis director. Results: The performance-based pay's evaluation method of health teachers has the same method with general teachers in schools, so it is not fair to evaluate the performance of health teachers. The ways to improve the performance-based pay evaluation method of health teachers is as follows: first, the approval on improving 'the number of class hours' which is a detailed item of a teacher's performance evaluation criterion to 'the number of health lesson hours per week and the number of students visiting the school infirmary per week'; second, improving 'life guidance' into 'counseling results of medically-treated students, parents of students and personal hygiene guidance'; third, improving 'a teacher in charge' into 'awarding of points by being recognized as a health teacher in charge of all students and considering the economic situation of the region,; forth, improving 'difficulty of position' into 'the number of health-teacher's annual promotion task items and the treatment number of issuing and receiving of official documents', and improving the 'task difficulty' into 'importance and urgency of emergency patient management, risk level and urgency of infectious diseases and avoiding work in charge' appeared to be more than 90% respectively. Conclusion: The performance-based pay system of teachers being carried out every year should be executed by preparing fair evaluation criteria suitable for task properties and the role of health teachers with different evaluation criteria compared to general teachers.

  • This study analyze factors influencing business performance by types of agricultural corporation for improving performance. The number of agricultural corporations have been increasing but their profitability has been decreasing. In this situation, it is important to analyze factors influencing business performance for improving their profitability. We estimate a model including financial indexes and corporation's characters using ordinary least square. We use agricultural corporations survey data for 10years(2005~2014) of Statistics Korea. This study analyze bookkeeping recorded agricultural corporations for the same period. As a result, we find factors to influence Return on Assets(ROA). Additionally, we calculate optimized current ratio and debt ratio for ROA maximization. Operation period and the number of full-time workers also have a positive effect on ROA. Agricultural production, processing and distribution variables by business types have a positive effect on ROA, but some of their interaction terms have a negative effect on ROA. We expect that this result will help for improving corporation's business performance.

  • This Purpose of this paper is to suggest the effects of success factors of six sigma on the management performance. This dissertation deal with key factors that led to successful implementation through existing literature. Therefore, this major success factors of six sigma revealed performance of cost reduction and improving quality. This study is empirical analysis the effects of six sigma performance of cost reduction and improving quality)on the management performance(profitability, growth, market value). The results of this study, six sigma quality performance turns out to have positive(+) effect on the all management performance.
