이동 통신 중계기용 선형 전력 증폭기 효율 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency Improvement of Linear Power Amplifier for Mobile Communication Repeater Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 feedforward의 주 증폭기 전단에 predistorter를 사용하여 주 증폭기에서 만들어지는 이득과 위상 왜곡을 억제함으로써 넓은 대역에 걸쳐 좋은 IMD를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 이때 주 증폭기에서 만들어진 IMD는 저 출력 에러 증폭기의 사용을 가능하게 하므로 선형 전력 증폭기의 전체효율을 개선시킬 수 있다. 제작된 선형 전력 증폭기에서 주 증폭기(출력전력 10W/1톤, 중심 주파수는 850MHz, 2톤 채널 폭은 1MHz)의 IM3는 10.61dBc, predistorter와 feedforward를 결합한 LPA의 IM3는 32.50dBc이므로 약 22dB 개선된 결과를 얻었다. 그리고 주 증폭기의 효율이 30%, predistorter를 사용하지 않는 경우 효율은 20%, 그리고 사용한 경우의 효율이 27.4%이므로 약 7.4%의 개선된 결과를 얻었다.

고속 3차원 형상 측정 장치의 효율성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency Improvement of a 3D Shape Measuring Apparatus With High Speed)

  • 본 논문에서는 정현파 줄무의 패턴을 이용하여 고속이면서도 정밀하게 측정체 표면의 3차원 형상을 측정하는 시스템을 구성하였다. 또한 획득영상의 위상정보 부족 영역에대하여 효율적인 위상복원 방법을 사용하여 측정효율을 높이는 방법을 제안하였고 이를 실험적으로 확인하였다. 카메라의 측정각도와 측정체의 형상에 따라 카메라에 획득되는 영상에는 필연적으로 위상 정보가 부족한 영역이 존재하며 본 논문에서는 이 영역을 추출하고 가변 크기의 위상복원 창과 가변 비율을 갖는 정규화 방법을 사용하여 위상을 효과적으로 복원함으로써 시스템의 측정 효율을 높였다.

  • Korea announced GHG reduction goal, 30% reduction compare with 2020 BAU and reduction target for each industry sector is planning. Transportation sector also trying to make effective technical and political counterplan of allocated GHG reduction target such as material lightening, energy efficiency improvement and Modal shift technology and so on. Modal Shift is shifting low energy efficiency vehicle to high energy efficiency vehicle which is economically meaningful under current market conditions. We can get not only energy efficiency improvement but also GHG reduction effect through modal shift. Modal Shift is effectively applying and studied in logistics field in Europe and Japan and one of the Indian companies has been registered CDM project activity involving modal shift from roadways to railways for finished goods. In this study, the scenarios are developed with detail modal shift ratio and fuel type base on state of road and rail use and GHG emission factor for each fuel type from MLTM. This result can be used as basic information to improve policies and promote increasing use of train which is more environment friendly transportation vehicle.

A New Approach to Improve Induction Motor Performance in Light-Load Conditions

  • Induction motors often reach their maximum efficiency at the nominal load. In most applications, the machine load is not equal to the nominal load, thus reduces the motor efficiency and turns a greater percent of power into loss. In this paper, the induction motor control problem has been investigated to reduce the system losses. The Field Oriented Control method (FOC) has been employed in this paper. In this research, the mathematical equations related to system losses are calculated in relation to torque and speed, and then the q- and d-axis are summarized according to the current components. After that, the proposed method is applied along with d- and q-axis. In the recent three decades, many techniques have been suggested to improve the induction motor performance using smart and non-smart methods. In this paper, a new PSO-Fuzzy method have used in real time. The fuzzy logic method serves as speed controller in q-axis and PSO algorithm controls the optimum flux in d-axis. It will be proved that the use of this combined method will lead to a significant improvement in motor efficiency.

  • This paper presents the performance investigation and design technology of a Line Start-up Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (LSPMSM) with super premium efficiency, including a design consideration and evaluation for motor start-up, key performance, and advanced finite element analysis FEA) for the design, improvement and verification, prototype build and test, design and test data comparison with a $Premium^{(R)}$ Efficient Induction Motor (PEIM). To assess the design technology, the LSPMSM prototype was built amended from a PEIM with the same frame, stator punching and rated output. Based on the prototype test, two novel design improvements and analyses have been done to eliminate noise and vibration. Additionally, the comparisons with the PEIM on the power factor, efficiency, frame size and active material consumption indicated that a significant performance improvement and active material cost reduction can be achieved by the LSPMSM.

고흥군 양식어업형 어촌계의 입지에 따른 어업효율성 분석에 관한 연구 (The Analysis of Geospatial Efficiency of Goheung-Gun Aquaculture Type Ochon-Gye Using Bootstrap-DEA)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the production efficiency of individual fishing communities and provide directions for improvement. The subject of the study is aquaculture type Ochon-Gye in Goheung-gun. The analysis method used bootstrap-DEA to overcome the statistical reliability problem of the traditional DEA analysis technique. In addition, data mining-GIS was applied to identify the spatial productivity of fishing communities. The values of technology efficiency, pure technology efficiency, and scale efficiency were estimated for 32 aquaculture-type fishing villages. Then, using the benchmarking reference set and weights, the projection was presented through adjustment of the input factor excess, and furthermore, the confidence interval of the efficiency values considering statistical significance was estimated using bootstrap.

디젤엔진 요소수 분사 SCR 시스템에서 촉매 내 암모니아 흡장량의 증가에 따른 NOx 저감효율 향상 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Diesel NOx Conversion Efficiency by Increasing the Ammonia Amount Adsorbed in a SCR Catalyst)

  • Nowadays, urea SCR technology is considered as the most effective NOx reduction technology of diesel engine. However, low NOx conversion efficiency under low temperature conditions is one of its problems to be solved. This is because injection of UWS (Urea Water Solution) is impossible under such a low temperature condition due to the problem of insufficient of urea decomposition and urea deposits. In several previous studies, it has been reported that appropriate control of the amount of ammonia adsorbed on SCR catalyst can improve the NOx conversion efficiency under low temperature conditions. In this study, we tried to find out how much the NOx conversion efficiency increases with respect to the amount of ammonia adsorbed on the catalyst, and what the temperature conditions that the ammonia slip occurs. This study shows the results of 8 times repeated WHTC test with a diesel engine, in which UWS was injected with NH3/NOx mole ratio of '1'. Through this study, it was found that 13% of the NOx conversion efficiency of WHTC increased while the θ (ammonia adsorption rate) increased from "0%" to "22%". In addition, it is found that in cases of high θ value, the significant improvement of NOx conversion efficiency at low temperatures presented during the beginning period of WHTC and at high temperature and transient conditions presented during last part of WHTC test. The NH3 slip occurring condition was 250℃ of catalyst temperature and 10% of θ, and the amount of NH3 slip increased as the temperature and θ are increased.

Crucible Boat 홀 크기와 정공 수송층 증착속도에 따른 유기밭광 다이오드의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Properties of OLEDs due to the Hole-size of Crucible Boat and Deposition Rate of Hole Transport Layer)

  • In the structure of ITO/N,N'-diphenyl-N,N' bis (3-methylphenyl)-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine(TPD)/tris (8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum($Alq_3$)/Al device, we studied the efficiency improvement of organic light-emitting diodes due to variation of deposition rate of hole transport layer (TPD) materials using hole-size of crucible boat. The thickness of TPD and $Alq_3$ was manufactured 40 nm, 60 nm, respectively under a base pressure of $5{\times}10^{-6}$ Torr using a thermal evaporation. The $Alq_3$ used for an electron-transport and emissive layer were evaporated to be at a deposition rate of $2.5\;{\AA}/s$. When the deposition rate of TPD increased from 1.5 to $3.0\;{\AA}/s$, we studied the efficiency improvement of TPD using the hole-size of crucible is 1.0 mm. When the deposition rate of TPD is $2.5\;{\AA}/s$, we found that the average roughness is rather smoother, the luminous efficiency the external quantum efficiency is superior to the others. Compared to the two from the devices made with the deposition rate of TPD is $2.0\;{\AA}/s$ and $3.0\;{\AA}/s$, the external quantum efficiency was improved by four-times and two-times, respectively.

  • The purpose of Reliability Centered Maintenance(Hereafter, RCM) is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of preventive maintenance by applying the improvement plan after analysis of existing preventive maintenance. To accomplish this, it is required to collect the failure data for equipments during operation, and to carry out the quantitative criticality analysis for each equipment. This paper shows that the case study of RCM criticality analysis based on the accumulative failure data and following improvement activity for KORAIL AIRPORT RAILROAD's E&M system.
