Special attention was given to both the indoor and outdoor environments from the viewpoints of both parents and teachers. The subject of this research focused on parents who leave their children at child care centers, and teachers who work for the center. The data was compiled by performing both T-tests and paired T-test. The information was processed by a program called SPSS WIN 10.0. The results were as follows ; 1. (a) With regard to the satisfaction of the external and internal facilities : It was determined that both the play rooms and the wall-pattern arrangements were satisfactory to both the parents and the teachers. (b) Regarding the awareness of the importance of facilities, while the parents focused more on the play rooms and the external environments, the teachers placed more importance on the bathrooms and the play rooms. 2. In the paired T-test that determined whether their individual opinions were different in terms of the satisfaction and awareness of facilities, it was interesting to see that both the parents and the teachers showed significant differences in their opinions and priorities about the porches, the play rooms, the bathrooms and the wall-pattern arrangements. In general, their awareness was much higher than the satisfaction with these facilities. 3. In the T-test that determined whether there were any tendencies in the satisfaction and awareness respectively in the two groups, the satisfaction rate was higher among the parents than the teachers. In terms of the awareness of the importance of the facilities, the teachers rated the bathrooms and the wall-pattern arrangements as a priority.

Data were analyzed using Chi-square test, independent t-test, and factor analysis to test the two group's differences. Results: The practices of 'eat balanced meals' or 'finish all food on the plate' scored high (p < 0.001) in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program than those who did not. Regarding awareness of the importance of eco-friendly activities, all attributes scored higher in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program. All attributes for satisfaction except two scored higher (p < 0.05) in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program. Principal Components Analysis (PCA) of the correlation showed that high subjective income status was positively associated with foodservice satisfaction. • The principal objective of this study was to evaluate the consumption patterns, the importance of product properties, and the satisfaction levels of blackberry and mulberry fruit beverage products(BMBPs) in the Jeonbuk area, Korea. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 294 customers(male 40.8%, female 59.2%) residing at Jeonju in Jeonbuk area. Descriptive and comparative statistical analyses were completed using SPSS PC program(version 19.0). Approximately, 61.6% of participants consumed BMBPs 1-2times a year. Only 1.7% of participants consumed BMBPs everyday. The main information source about BMBPs was 'families/friends'. About 58.8% of participants responded that the main reason for purchasing BMBPs was 'for health'. The result indicated the overall importance level(3.94) was higher than the satisfaction level(3.41)(p < .001). The importance and satisfaction levels of the older group (50's) were significantly higher than the levels of younger group(20-30's)(p < .01 ; p < .05). According to the IPA(Importance-Performance Anslysis), 'price' and 'credibility' of companies were the most important properties that had to be changed as soon as possible to increase satisfaction with BMBPs. Therefore, to increase BMBPs'-consumption, quality improvements on these products through cooperation between BMBPscompanies, the regional government, and research institutions are necessary.

  • The House of Quality(HOQ) is used in the development stage to identify important customer attributes and corresponding engineering characteristics. The importance of each customer attribute obtained in the HOQ affects to the quality of the final product or service. Traditionally, such importance is derived based on the assumption that customer satisfaction is linearly proportional to the product performance. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear function so as to relate the product performance with the customer satisfaction according to the Kano model. A performance goal is obtained by maximizing the total customer satisfaction under a cost constraint and the importance of each customer attribute is developed from the performance goal. Therefore, the proposed approach incorporates the Kano categories and the improvement cost in determining the importance of customer attributes.

  • Employing a sample of 126 suppliers in Korean electronic industry, this research examined the effects of institutional environment, social capital and strategic importance in manufacturer-supplier relationships on knowledge sharing. Building on the relational view and knowledge-based theories, this study proposed that these factors facilitate knowledge sharing in manufacturer-supplier relationships and that knowledge mediates satisfaction between manufacturer-supplier relationships for competitive advantage. Results indicate that institutional environment, social capital and strategic importance in manufacturer-supplier relationships are indeed associated with greater knowledge sharing. Inter-firm satisfaction is, in turn, positively associated with knowledge sharing for competitive advantage through technical support, financial support, competence increasing. Further, results provide evidence that knowledge sharing plays a mediating role between institutional environment, social capital, strategic importance and inter-firm satisfaction.
