Purpose: This study intends to set standard for organizing the curriculum of short-term dental technicians and the change of job environment, as well as the knowledge & training, by identifying the importance and actual job performance of dental technicians following job analysis in the university education of Dept. of Dental Laboratory Technology, and furthermore to foster junior executives to cope with modernization and globalization. Methods: The tools used in this study are based on the job analysis of research report suggested by National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board(Lee Gyu-seon, 2011), and it consists of general characteristic 7 items. Every competence duty was measured through Likert 5 point gauging, and internal consistency through Cronbach's Alpha. The competence importance of entire questionnaire was .984 and its performance was .874, reflecting considerably high level, and in terms of each competence duty, high credibility was proved and high internal consistency was verified with competence importance ranging from the minimum .655 to the maximum .966 and its performance ranging from the minimum .677 to the maximum .993. Results: Competence importance and its performance in each duty on the job analysis of dental technicians were measured. In competence importance in each duty, the highest was "checking design order form"(average, 4.52), followed by "selling dental prosthesis"(average 4.49), "making removable orthodontic appliance"(average, 4.48), "open managing dental laboratory"(average, 4.46) in order. However, "making complete denture" was found the lowest(average, 4.23), with importance of all competence dutys was considerably high level. In the performance of its competence duty, "checking design order form"(average, 4.04) was found to be the most importance competence, followed by "making conservative restoration"(average, 4.00), "making porcelain"(average 3.98), "checking working cast"(average, 3.90) in order. However it was found out that "making fixed orthodontic appliance"(average, 3.12) was the lowest, and the importance of all competence dutys was quite high level. Conclusion: The duties of dental technicians consist of 13 kinds, in total, and it was found out that "checking design order form"(average, 4.52) was the most important in the competence importance and job performance. In particular, it was revealed that there was a great difference between the competence importance and its performance in the order of "selling dental prosthesis", "open managing dental laboratory", "making removable orthodontic appliance", "making CAD/CAM prosthesis", and then "making fixed orthodontic appliance".

To examine the gap between physician's perceived importance and performance of care and to identify factors associated with the gap. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted with 91 physicians working in a University hospital in Seoul. The respondents were asked about their perceived importance and actual performance of interpersonal care on a 5-point Likert-type scale, indicating a higher score as higher importance and performance. Interpersonal care was measured by questions modified from the Korean Standard Service Quality Index, which are grouped into 6 categories: basic services, extra services, reliability, courtesy, convenience, and tangibles. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to find out physician characteristics associated with the gap. All of the 6 interpersonal care categories showed lower performance than perceived importance. The respondents tended to have a worse performance than perceived importance as the number of patients per outpatient care session ($\beta$=-0.0204, p<0.05) and the need for customer satisfaction education increase ($\beta$=-0.2226, p<0.05). Female physicians ($\beta$=0.2336, p<0.05) and those with higher job satisfaction($\beta$=0.0096, p<0.05) showed a better performance than perception. Overall, it appears that lower quality of interpersonal care was delivered to patients than the desired level considered by the responding physicians. Based on the regression analysis results, it is suggested that reducing patient volume per session, fulfilling education need for customer satisfaction, and improving job satisfaction may contribute to reduce the gap between physician's perceived importance and performance of interpersonal care.

This study analyzes the importance-performance analysis (IPA) of the 10 dimensions of the smart construction safety management system, and analyzes which dimensions are important and which dimensions are performing to determine key improvement tasks, incremental improvement tasks, Maintenance and reinforcement tasks and continuous maintenance tasks were derived. Among the 10 dimensions of the smart construction safety management system, the dimensions that are recognized as important by all field managers and field workers and have high performance are the automatic risk displacement measurement system, smart environmental sensor system, and heavy equipment seizure prevention system. However, areas that were perceived as having high importance but low performance were worker location tracking systems, smart safety helmet chin muscles, and smart safety ring fastening. Among the smart construction safety management systems perceived by field managers, areas for key improvement with high importance and low performance included worker location tracking system and smart safety ring fastening. Among the smart construction safety management systems perceived by field workers, the area for key improvement with high importance and low performance was the automatic risk displacement measurement system.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the gap in perceived importance-performance between dietitians and food service workers regarding school food service sanitation and to analyze items that should be given priority for improvement. Data were collected by 440 food service workers and 71 dietitians in Gyeongbuk province. All statistical analyses were conducted using the SAS package program (version 8.2 for Windows) for descriptive analysis, t-test, and importance-performance analysis (IPA). According to the performance analysis, there were significant differences between dietitians and food service workers in 18 out of the 20 items. In all of 18 items, the evaluated performance scores according to the food service workers were higher than those of the dietitians. In addition, the results of IPA confirmed the following areas as improvement priorities: proper hand washing of food service workers, cleanliness of trays and utensils, monitoring of temperature of refrigerated/frozen foods and quality of the food materials during inspection, proper washing and disinfection of raw vegetables and fruits and maintenance of CCP records, and control of food holding temperature and methods. In conclusion, dietitians should perform education about sanitation management items that have low perceived importance and should make a plan to improve sanitation management after understanding the gap in perceived importance-performance between dietitians and food service workers.

The purpose of this study is to present effective basic data for business management through analysis of importance and performance of personal information protection of the elderly welfare center workers. For this purpose, the questionnaire on the protection of personal information was reconstructed based on the diagnostic level of the personal information security management level of the public institution and the questionnaire was conducted on 105 employees of the elderly welfare center in Chungbuk area. Based on the responses to the importance and the degree of performance of the personal information protection of the elderly welfare center employees, technical statistics and corresponding sample T-tests were conducted and the importance-performance analysis (IPA) was used. Followings are the results of this study: First, there is a statistically significant difference between the importance and the implementation of the management system for the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center, establishment and implementation of protection measures, establishment and implementation of infringement measures. Second, IPA analysis on the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center shows that the establishment and implementation of protection measures are the areas to maintain good performance. Third, in IPA analysis of the sub-factors of the personal information protection of the workers in the welfare center of the elderly, in the construction and management of the management system, in performing the role of the personal information protection officer and establishing and implementing protection measures, The factors of prevention of information disclosure and exposure and the safe use and management of personal information processing system were analyzed as areas requiring intensive improvement. This study is meaningful as a basic research that can raise the awareness of the personal information protection of the workers in the elderly welfare center and induce the improvement of the related work.

This study investigated the current status of foodservice management and the importance and performance of foodservice management according to the level of knowledge of workers. A survey was conducted between February 2015 and March 2015 for 329 foodservice workers at Community Child Centers in Chungbuk Area. Of these respondents, the majority (78.4%) of them were females. Most of them were in their 40s (40.4%) or 50s (33.4%). If the respondent's correct answer rate of knowledge was 0~50% or 51~100%, the respondent was classified into a 'Low Group (LG, n=175)' or a 'High Group (HG, n=154)'. Among a total of 14 foodservice management questions, 6 items (personal hygiene: 1 item; food material: 2 items; and food processing: 3 items) had relatively higher performance scores for workers in HG than for workers in LG. As a result of Importance-Performance analysis, 'Use different knives and cutting boards for fish, meat, and vegetables' was a variable of high importance but low performance. It was found that improvement was most urgently needed. Results of this study can be used to derive important items for improving foodservice management and policy development for foodservice workers at Community Child Centers.

농어촌지역에서 수요응답형교통(demand response transport, DRT)이 정착하기 위해서는 수요부족의 문제가 있는 농어촌버스보다 긍정적 측면이 많아야 된다. 연구는 기존 농어촌버스와 DRT가 혼용 운행되고 있는 지역에서 DRT의 중요도와 실행도(importance- performance analysis, IPA)를 분석하고, 농어촌버스 만족도와의 관계성 분석하기 위해 IPA의 불일치 이론을 적용한다. IPA 결과로 가장 시급한 개선항목은 DRT 운행범위이며 환승위치, 환승시간, 환승거리, 정시도착, 안전운전, 운행시간, 차량수가 개선항목이다. 불일치이론 결과 농어촌버스와 비교하여 DRT 활성화를 위해서는 실행도보다 중요도가 큰 경우, 환승 편리성, 운행 시간 및 범위, 운행차량에 대해 실행도를 높인다. 실행도보다 중요도가 작은 경우 차량청결도, 안전운전, 운영자 친절, 환승요소, 운행요소, 요금은 지속적인 실행도가 유지되도록 한다.

본 연구는 중등학교 수학교사의 평가에 대한 인식을 조사하고 비교하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위해 인천지역에 근무하는 중학교 188명, 고등학교 125명의 수학교사로부터 평가에 관한 6가지 영역과 과정 중심 평가에 대한 일반적인 인식에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 자료는 중요도-수행도 분석기법(IPA)을 사용하여 학교급별, 경력별, 학교규모별로 비교 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과로 대부분의 영역에서 중학교 수학교사들이 고등학교에 비해 중요도와 수행도 모두 높게 나타났다. 경력별로는 경력이 높을수록 높은 중요도-높은 수행도, 낮은 중요도-낮은 수행도가 많이 나타나고. 학교규모가 클수록 낮은 중요도-높은 수행도에 다양한 의견이 나타났다.

This study explored which the component factors on innovation brand to building an organizational culture of government. The innovation brand perception of organizational officers are in order brand awareness(recognition, discrimination) and brand loyalty(identification, ease of memory, meaning diffusion, the reaction of customer needs), brand salience, brand knowledge and brand innovation. The result of Importance-Performance analysis are as follows. We can see that Brand loyalty have Quadrant I meaning good management implementation. Brand Knowledge have Quadrant II meaning concentrate improving. Brand Uniqueness have Quadrant III meaning improving. And Recognition, familiarity and salience have Quadrant IV meaning low relative importance and high performance. The Quadrant IV consider the cost and benefit of brand management.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cases of Asan-si and Hongseong-gun in Chungcheongnam-do to derive the direction of development of the school meal support center and improvement of the school meal policy in connection with local food. We conducted a survey on the importance and performance of school meal support policy and local food supply policy for nutritionists in two areas. In addition, we identified the issues to be improved intensively and the issues to be continuously managed over the medium to long term, and suggested directions for improvement using IPA. As a result of the importance-performance analysis of school meal support policy and local food supply policy, both Asan-si and Hongseong-gun. focused on improving the price and quality of local food.
