SB2등급 연성베리어의 충돌지점(CIP)에 대한 연구 (Study on Critical Impact Point for a SB2 Class Flexible Barrier)

  • PURPOSES : The impact performance of flexible barrier system such as structural response, vehicular motion and occupant safety vary depending on the impact point. Thus, to properly evaluate the performance of a flexible barrier system, impact should be made to a point which will lead to the worst possible results. This point is called the Critical Impact Point (CIP). This paper presents the way to determine the CIP for a SB2 class flexible barrier system which is consisted of Thrie-Beam rail and circular hollow tube post of 2m span. METHODS: Barrier VII simulations were made for impact points; Case 1 at a post, Case 2 at 1/3 span downstream from a post, Case 3 at middle of the span, Case 4 at 2/3 span downstream from a post. For the structural performance (deflections), impact simulation of 8000kg-65km/h-15degree was used, and for vehicle motion and occupant safety, simulation of 1300kg-80km/h-20degree impact was made and analysed. RESULTS: Case 1 gave the largest dynamic deflection of 75.72cm and also gave the largest snag value of 44.3cm. Occupant safety and exit angle of the vehicle after the impact were not sensitive to the impact point and were all below the allowable limit. CONCLUSIONS : For the SB2 class flexible barrier system's CIP can be regarded as a post which is sufficiently away from the end of Length of Need in order to avoid the end-effect of the barrier system. It can be more economic in the long run because the normal concrete pavement material is likely to cost more due to higher probability of maintenance and repair and higher social cost due to traffic accident, etc.

영상처리 기반 모의 사격 표적지 탄착점 추출 (Extracting the Point of Impact from Simulated Shooting Target based on Image Processing)

  • 소모적이고 안전사고에 노출된 실탄 사격을 대체할 수 있는 사격 시뮬레이션 시스템과 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 센서 기반 기술을 이용한 인식 방법을 사용하지 않고 영상처리기반 기술을 이용하여 탄착점을 추출하는 과정을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 모의총기의 총구에 부착된 카메라로부터 획득한 영상 분석을 통해 탄착점 위치를 찾아내고, 그 탄착점의 좌표 값과 과녁과의 매핑을 통한 최종 사격결과를 계산하여 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 이 시스템은 전송된 영상에서 영사영역을 구분하는 단계, 영사영역 내에서 탄착점 위치를 추출하는 단계, 탄착점 위치에 따른 사격결과를 계산하여 사용자에게 제공하는 단계로 나누어진다. 전송된 영상을 이진 영상으로 변환 후 영사영역의 꼭짓점의 위치를 찾고 그 안에 존재하는 탄착점을 추출한다. 구현된 탄착점 추출과정을 단계별로 제시하였으며 모의 사격 시스템을 위한 인터페이스에서 결과를 확인 할 수 있도록 하였다. 실험을 통해 영사영역의 꼭짓점 위치의 정확성을 확인하였으며 탄착점 추출 및 그에 따른 점수 환산결과를 확인할 수 있도록 하였다.

피스톤 슬랩 충격력 예측을 위한 충돌점 모델 (A Model of Collision Point to Estimate Impact Force Related to Piston Slap)

  • Piston slap is not only one of the major sources of noise and vibration in internal combustion engines but also a cause of the deterioration of engine performance. The basic mechanism associated with the piston slap seems to be quite simple but the phenomenon is in fact complicated with regard to many mechanical elements associated, First of all the impact force of piston slap must be identified to estimate engine block surface vibration, In this paper model of collision point is proposed to calculate the impact force when slap surface vibration. In this paper model of collision point is proposed to calculate the impact force when slap occurs. The parameters of the model are estimated by employing the concept of point mobility, . The predicted and experimentally observed vibration results confirm that the proposed method is practically useful.

Mamdani 퍼지추론을 이용한 화살의 탄착점 측정 시스템 (Measuring System for Impact Point of Arrow using Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System)

  • 제조공정을 통해 생산된 화살의 성능은 화살의 이동궤적(궁사의 패러독스)과 탄착점의 집적도에 따라 좌우된다. 특히 동일한 환경에서 반복적으로 화살의 슈팅실험을 수행할 경우, 반복실험에서 얻어진 화살의 탄착점 집적도는 화살 성능 평가에서 중요한 객관적 지표가 된다. 그러나 화살의 탄착점에 대한 분석은 현재 상용화된 기술이 부족하며, 기존의 연구들은 화살의 성능에 영향을 미치는 제조공정 변수(화살깃, 화살촉, 화살의 곧기, 중량, 외경, 스파인)만을 최적화하려는 방향으로 기술력이 집중되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 화살의 주요성능지표인 화살의 탄착점 측정 자동화를 위해, Mamdani 퍼지 추론 시스템(Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System)과 도형의 닮음(Similarity of Polygon)을 이용한 화살의 탄착점 측정 시스템을 제안한다. 라인레이저(Line Laser)와 포토다이오드어레이(Photo Diode Array)를 이용하여 고속(약 275km/h)으로 이동하는 화살의 탄착점 데이터를 계측하고, 계측된 데이터를 퍼지 추론과 도형의 닮음을 이용하여 화살의 탄착점으로 사상(Mapping) 시킨다.

충격 지점과 보행자 전도 거리의 상관관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Impact Point of Vehicle and Throw Distance of Pedestrian)

  • The fatalities of pedestrian account for about 40.0% of all fatalities in Korea 2005. Vehicle-Pedestrian accident generates trajectory of pedestrian. In pedestrian involved accident, the most important data to inspect accident is throw distance of pedestrian. The throw distance of pedestrian can be influenced by many variables. The variables that influence trajectory of pedestrian can be classified into vehicular factors, pedestrian factors, and road factors. Vehicular factors are the frontal shape of vehicle, impact speed of vehicle, the offset of impact point. Many studies have been done about the relation between impact speed and throw distance of pedestrian. But the influence of the offset of impact point was neglected. The influence of the offset of impact point was analyzed by Working Model, and the trajectory of pedestrian, dynamic characteristics of multi-body were analyzed by PC-CRASH, a kinetic analysis program for a traffic accident. Based on the results, the increase of offset reduced the throw distance of pedestrian. However box type vehicle just like bus, the offset of impact point did not influence the throw distance of pedestrian considerably.

고해상도 상용카메라를 사용하는 영상변환을 이용한 탄착점 좌표획득 (Bomb Impact Point Location Acquisition by Image Transformation using High-Resolution Commercial Camera)

  • In the bomb impact test, to acquire the bomb impact point location the high-priced embedded equipments such as the Bomb Scoring System or the EOTS are needed. Recently, a high-resolution image processing could be possible since the resolution of the commercial camera is growing rapidly. In this paper we first propose an image transformation method for acquiring the real bomb impact image using a high-resolution commercial camera, and then present the process calculating the real bomb impact point location coordinate from the transformed image. Based on the experimental results we found the possibilities that the real bomb impact point information could be effectively earned just using the commercial camera.

도어 임팩트 빔의 3점 굽힘 최대강도와 차량 장착 시 굽힘 좌굴강도와의 관계 (The Relation of Bending Buckling Strength in Vehicle and Three Point Bending Maximum Strength of Door Impact Beam)

  • First, three point bending analysis for the inclined press door impact beam was carried out to investigate inclination angle effect on the maximum strength with varying support distance. Next, for the system model with spring elements representing body stiffness at door mounting area, the bending structural behavior of impact beam mounted on vehicle was estimated. The mounting distance and inclination angle were changed and the beam bending buckling strength was presumed at the head displacement below which spring stiffness change has little effect on the load. Finally strength ratio to predict the bending buckling strength of impact beam mounted on vehicle from three point bending maximum strength of fixed support distance was suggested.

HSPF를 이용한 비점오염원 삭감에 따른 효과 분석 (Assessing Impact of Reduction of Non-Point Source Pollution by BASINS/HSPF)

  • This paper aims to assessing impact of reduction of non-point source pollution in the Bokha Stream watershed. The BASINS/HSPF model was calibrated and verified for water flow and water qualities using Total Maximum Daily Load 8days data from 2006 to 2007. Accuracy of the BASINS/HSPF models in simulating hydrology and water quality was compared and there were somewhat differences of statistical results, but water flow and water quality were simulated in good conditions over the study period. The applicability of models was tested to evaluate non-point source control scenarios to response hydrology and water quality in the Bokha stream using various measures which include BMPs approach and change of landuse. The evaluation of reduction of non-point source pollution was developed using load-duration curve. Despite strong reduction of non-point source, there are not satiated target quality at low flow season.

  • Impact pathway analysis(IPA) is a bottom-up approach to estimates health and environmental risks from emissions of classical pollutants (eg. $PM_{10}$, $SO_2$, $NO_x$ and CO). The model starts from the emission rates of facility, calculates the yearly mean concentrations of pollutants at the ground level using atmospheric dispersion models. After this, proper epidemiological exposure-response functions are applied to determine the impact on the receptors. Finally the methodology can monetise the calculated physical impact on the basis of selected economic evaluation. The aim of this study is to evaluate an external cost of virtual point source in Suwon area using IPA. The results shows minor modification of local input data can make it possible to apply the model to Suwon area.

유역모형과 하천수질모형의 연계를 통한 비점오염원 영향분석 (Non-point Source Impact Analysis through Linkage of Watershed Model and River Water Quality Model)

  • In this study, the accurate water quality analysis in rivers, including the non-point source is performed. First of all, watershed model, SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool) was applied to analyze the impact of the non-point source in study area. And then, water quality analysis integrating the point source and the non-point source is implemented using QUALKO model. For more exact simulation, it should be the calibration and verification of variables and parameters which are needed for simulation. In addition, the importance of considering the non-point source was confirmed in river water quality simulation. BOD, TN, TP were analysed, and the results shows that BOD, TN and TP concentration was increased to 16.8%, 8.2% and 25.8% respectively. The more accurate estimate will be carried if use of reliable measurements and watershed simulation be done in models linking process. The suggested technique will improve the accuracy of the water quality analysis. The methodologies presented in this study will contribute to basin-wide water quantity and quality management.
