Laminated composite plates have shown their superiority over metals in applications requiring high specific strength, high specific modulus, and so on. Therefore, they have used in various industry. However, they have poor resistance to impact compared to typical metal materials. To resolve this problem by many researchers for a variety of studies have been attempted. This study investigates characteristic of impact behavior of laminated composite plates due to initial stress. Using finite element program which involved the indentation law, we investigate characteristic of impact behavior of laminated composite plates due to initial stress.

The Purpose of this research was to examine the influence of university students' self-leadership and career decision self-efficacy upon career preparation behavior. A total of 342 participants in 1th ~ 3th grades from universities in Seoul. Result from multiple regression analysis indicated the following. First, self-leadership and career decision self-efficacy had an impact on career preparation behavior. Second self-leadership had impact an career decision self-efficacy. Third, career decision self-efficacy had an impact on career preparation behavior. The result showed that there was significant interaction. Finally, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future research on career path preparation behavior were discussed. The implication of this study is that self-leadership and self-efficacy can the university students' career path preparation behavior. This research findings, theoretical and practical implications were suggested. Consequently it mean that the career guide program for university student. Therefore, effective counseling strategies to enhance career preparation behavior.

In recent years, gamification has been a hot issue due to its positive impact on organizational success. The proper application of game elements in an organizational context is required for gamification implementations. Gamification remains an area of active research for its behavior molding potential. Employee engagement is a critical component in assessing employee behavior and is considered crucial for organizational success. Research questionnaires were completed online between March 2021 and February 2022. Our targeted sample encompassed low and mid-level personnel of Asian and Middle eastern employees working in Hungary. The questionnaire was introduced using google forms. Our sample size consisted of 203 respondents (N = 203). Research results indicated gamification's significance in increasing employees' intrinsic motivation and therefore boosting organizational engagement levels. Gamification improved employees' task performance and the overall quality of work. Organizational culture had a mediating role between gamification and employees' behavior. Organizational culture and employee behavior are in close correlation. Research findings also proved engagements' mediating effect on employees' behavior. The results of the research showed that gamification in human resources has risen in popularity, especially in terms of its impact on employee behavior and performance. The study's findings demonstrated that gamification has a positive impact on organizational performance and collaboration.

It is investigated character of the dynamic behavior at over excavation zone of roadbed using crushed stone instead of lean concrete. It is considered that behavior of roadbed using PENTAGON-3D and Baber's equation. Typical load of sine wave type using impact factor is compared to moving load system to examine relationship in using PENTAGON-3D case. Variations of this paper are material properties of roadbed, train velocity, subgrade bearing capacity. Using variations, safety of roadbed is estimated by dynamic behavior character.

The primary goal of this study is to investigate the impact of social capital on consumer attitudinal evaluations. We propose a hypothetical receptacle, thereby applying a mediation framework because of social capital. We expect that increasing social capital would improve brand image and consumer-company (C-C) identification, resulting in positive in-role and extra-role customer behavior toward the brand. Data was collected from 425 respondents primarily from Karachi's five zones (East, West, North, South, and Central) and analyzed using confirmatory component analysis and structural equation design. The findings showed that social capital had a positive and significant relationship with customer extra-role behavior, as well as two mediators, brand image and consumer business identity. Furthermore, both mediators have a significant impact on both in-role and extra-role behavior. However, there is no evidence that social capital has a direct impact on in-role behavior. This study will help businesses in gaining a competitive advantage by concentrating on social capital to improve their brand image and customer relationship.

Purpose: In this study the impact of pro-environmental behavior, well-being oriented behavior, and use of cloth menstrual pads on dysmenorrhea in Korean female adults was examined according to the theory of reasoned action. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 195 Korean female adults. Data were collected from June to August, 2010 using self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, multiple regression, and logit regression with STATA 10.0. Results: Pro-environmental behavior explained 48% of well-being oriented behavior. Well-being oriented behavior explained 10% of cloth pad use. Use of cloth pad explained 4% of dysmenorrhea and 5% of menstrual pain. The path through well-being oriented behavior had a significant effect from pro-environmental behavior to cloth pad use. Conclusion: Use of cloth pad was significantly related with well-being oriented behavior, pro-environmental behavior, social influence, dysmenorrhea, and menstrual pain. The results of this study suggest that pro-environmental strategies can help health care providers diminish clients' menstrual symptoms. Nursing intervention can support pro-environmental behavioral strategies.

In recent year, the coat layer drops and the rebar rust of bridge parapets, which caused the structural performance degradation. In order to achieve the comprehensive rehabilitation, ultra high performance cementitious composites is proposed to existing RC parapet rehabilitation. The influence factors of UHPCC rehabilitation includes two parts, i.e., internal factors related with material, such as UHPCC layer thickness, corrosion ratio of rebars, fiber volume fraction, and external factors related with the load, such as impact speeds, impact angles, vehicle mass. The influence of the factors was analyzed in this paper based on the nonlinear finite element. The analysis results of the maximum dynamic deformation and the peak impact load of parapets revealed the influence of the internal factors and the external factors on anti-collision performance and degree degradation. This research may provide a reference for the comprehensive multifunctional rehabilitation of existing bridge parapets.

This paper deals with rocking response behavior of rigid block structure subjected to horizontal excitation. A strict consideration of impact and sliding between the block and base is essential to investigate the rocking vibration characteristics because the rocking behavior were greatly influenced by the impact and sliding motion. Therefore, not only restitution coefficient between the block and base but also the energy dissipation rate which is associated with sliding motion, and the static and kinetic friction coefficient between those should be included in the modeling of rocking system. The analytic program was developed to be able to simulate the experimental responses of the block subjected to horizontal sinusoidal excitations. By using this program, rocking responses were numerically calculated by the nonlinear equations for rocking system. From the response simulation and rocking vibration experiment, the following results were obtained. The rocking responses are affected by the impact motion due to energy dissipation and friction and provide very complex behavior. The toppling condition of the block is also influenced by the impact motion and sliding motion.

The objective of this study is to propose the FE model for mechanical clinched joint using cohesive zone model to analyze its failure behavior under impact loading. Cohesive zone model (CZM) is two-parameter failure criteria approach, which could describe the failure behavior of joint using critical stress and fracture toughness. In this study, the relationship between failure behavior of mechanical clinched joint and fracture parameters is investigated by FE analysis with CZM. Using this relationship, the critical stress and fracture toughness for tensile and shear mode are determined by H-type tensile test and lap shear test, which were made of 5052 aluminum alloy. The fracture parameters were applied to the tophat impact test to evaluate the crashworthiness. Compared penetration depth and energy absorption at the point where 50% of total displacement in result of FE analysis and experiment test for impact test, those has shown similar crashworthiness.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of gender differences in DNA on consumer buying behavior both online and offline and other buying channels to find out effective sales promotion strategies of enterprises. Research design, data, and methodology - This study investigated the relation between chromosome and DNA, DNA and gene, and gene and human behavior of gender. The study shows generic characteristics have influence upon consumers' buying behavior and inclination, and examined the effects of genetic characteristics depending upon the difference of gender DNA upon consumers' buying behavior. Results - Precedent studies on genetics and ethology showed close relations between chromosome and DNA, DNA and gene, and gene and buying behavior of the gene. 'Hunting and protection', one of the genetic characteristics in men's DNA, had great influence upon the consumers' different buying behavior. Conclusion - Gender DNA difference in genetics and ethology disclosed fundamental reasons for the difference in buying behavior and inclination of men and women. It gives implications that marketing strategies of advertising and sales promotion should be made in different ways depending upon men and women.
