In this paper, we proposed a brain-computer interface system using EEG signals. It can generate 4 direction command signal from EEG signals captured during imagination of subjects. Bandpass filter used for preprocessing to detect the brain signal, and the power spectrum at a specific frequency domain of the EEG signals for concentration status and non-concentration one is used for feature. In order to generate an adequate signal for controlling the 4 direction movement, we propose a new interface system implemented by using a support vector machine and a time-multiplexing method. Moreover, bio-feed back process and on-line adaptive pattern recognition mechanism are also considered in the proposed system. Computer experimental results show that the proposed method is effective to recognize the non-stational brain wave signal.

This study explored the characteristics of contemporary furniture called New Design furniture design in terms of aesthetics of communication in the postmodern era. Qualitative conceptural analysis as the principal methodology was used to explore the characteristics of New Design furniture, which is accessible to the broadest possible public. Thereby, the communicative elements of symbol, metaphor, narrative, animation, imagination, humor, and/or wit expressed in New Design furniture were analyzed according to the designers'concept and work. As a result the postmodern aesthetics of communication made New Design furniture accessible to the largest number of People through cultural considerations in New Design furniture as it influences designers 'concept and work. However, it showed problems of New Design furniture in connection with postmodern aesthetics affecting mass production. Therefore, the designers have begun rethinking, redefining, and redesigning their furniture aesthetically, functionally, economically, and ecologically.

This paper looks at the Fukushima disaster from the perspective of resilience engineering, which replaces a search for causes with an understanding of how the system failed in its performance. Referring to the four resilience abilities of responding, monitoring, learning, and anticipating, the paper focuses on how inadequate engineering anticipation or risk assessment during the design, in combination with inadequate response capabilities, precipitated the disaster. One lesson is that systems such as nuclear power plants are complicated, not only in how they function during everyday or exceptional conditions, but also during their whole life cycle. System functions are intrinsically coupled synchronically and diachronically in ways that may affect the ability to respond to extreme conditions.

이 논문에서 미스 반 데 로에의 바르셀로나 파빌리온의 건축적 특성을 분석하였다. 건축이 설계된 배경과 배치, 공간, 형태, 구조와 미학적 요소를 분석하였고, 같은 시기의 두 작품과 비교하였으며, 기존의 평가와 해석을 연구하였다. 그 결과 바르셀로나 파빌리온은 모든 근대건축 요소들이, 창작을 피워내는 상상력의 도가니 속에 함께 녹아들어 있음을 알게되었다.

Through the review of developing course of China cemented carbide industry, the writer of this paper at the first time generalizes it into five stages. The Psychology of putting on clothes has close relation with sexuality, and eroticism is important in clothing. Present article aims to understand eroticism correctly and to make it evaluated as an art in modern fashion and as an aesthetic to express woman\`s beauty. Modern eroticism in fashion may be divided into direct, indirect and symbolic expression made. The result are as follow: First, direct made, a representation of desire into direct, indirect and symbolic expression of body or physical curve with tight garment. Second, indirect made, a see-though technique using association, represents sexual appeal by imagination on body area hidden by clothes made of see-through material. And third symbolic made express sexual libido by representing body area or clothes which symbolizing woman\`s sexuality using materials like fur or silk. Eroticism in modern clothing, therefore, should be understood as a beauty that is expressed by human artistic desire. Further studies are needed to explain the characteristics of eroticism in every culture because human nature is apt to from diverse kind of cultures.

This study aims to investigate John Fowles's The French Lieutenant's Woman. This important postmodern novel is arguably the most important fiction published in England during the 1960's. John Fowles, along with Muriel Spark, Irish Mudoch and Doris Lessing is one the most influential postmodern writers. This is a study on the narrative technique, multiful endings, parody and author intrusion. The French Lieutenant's Woman is metafiction - a novel about writing a novel. The author says "This story I am telling is all imagination" in chapter 13. That is to say that John Fowles subverts traditional and even modernist poetics. His own intentional attempt to depart from traditional narrative structure is itself one of the novel's central issues. Through The French Lieutenant's Woman John Fowles shows postmodernist writers' narrative strategy.

Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation needs to a different strategy for developing synergy effects, suggesting they should be selected for role to the unification Korea. Thirdly, A policy and system is inevitable to construction of Inter Korean Cooperation Digital Contents. South-North Korea, including a North Korea having a excellent cultural heritage, must jointly recovery for cultural contents. Under social-economic system, a consumers of digital contents pay to the format creator many royalty. Therefore, We must prepare to roll out a series of new creative contents, and have competitive advantages in the global market.

This study examined the effects of picture storybook making activities with computer plays on children's storytelling ability and creativity. Seventy 5-year-old children from two day-care classes participated in this eight-week program. The experimental class used the computer software of 'Stanley's Sticker Stories.' The comparison class used paper and pencil. Data analysis was implemented by ANCOVA and t-test. Significant differences were found between the experimental and comparison groups in story telling ability by story structure, imagination, vocabulary, sentence structure, and creativity showing that picture storybook making activities with the computer was more effective than traditional picture storybook making activities.

This study investigated behavior characteristics for the gifted(N=210) and the high achievers(N=1l5). The participations in this study were 200 teachers who rated their 325 students' behavior characteristics in 25 public elementary schools in U.S.A rating of behavior characteristics in learning style, motivation, creativity, and leaderships by teachers indicated differences in keen observation, rapid insight into cause-effect relationship, a large storehouse of information, language fluency, absorption/task persistent, preference for own learning activities, concerns for moral/ethical issues, and a diversity of interests between groups. No differences in understanding of underlying principles, organization, curiosity, creativeness, motivation, initiating activities in areas of personal interest, directing group activities, and intellectual playfulness/imagination were found in addition to some differences between two groups.
