섬유소재를 이용한 한국적 이미지의 문화상품 디자인개발 (A Cultural Product Design Development of Korean Image by the Use of Fabric Materials)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a cultural products design of korean image using fabrics. The study is carry out in literature research methods and make sample product. We examine existing researches about cultural product design development to understand developed items, materials, and design directions. The brainstorming method and the established literature researches were used to obtain the design components of Korean image. A cultural products design was developed into the decorative structural details. The results can be summarized as follows: Korean image is pure, passive, gentle, small, and lasting life-force at weeds and wild flowers. Korean form is rounded curve and soft silhouette as streamy, not exaggerate. Korean color is not a finishing treatment, non-dyed natural color, or pastel, light greyish, and dull tone. Korean textile is a natural materials as linen, ramie, and coarse silk. Final sample products are table supplies, home goods and bed goods applying the sewing method of tuck, quilting, top-stitching, patch work, applique and embroidery.

  • 글로컬(Glocal) 시대는 국가 단위보다는 도시 중심의 지역 발전 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 도시는 이미지의 생산과 소비를 통해 지역 발전의 가치를 창출한다. 이는 긍정적 도시 이미지를 통해 그 도시만의 매력을 높이는 것이 지역 발전 경쟁에서 우위를 선점할 수 있음을 시사한다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 평택시의 도시 이미지 개선을 위한 홍보 디자인 개발을 목적으로 평택시가 추구하고자 하는 이미지 가치와 발전방향의 제시함으로써 평택시의 긍정적 이미지 개선에 기여하고자 하였다. 연구의 내용으로는 도시 이미지의 개념과 필요성에서 도시 홍보의 효율적인 수단으로서 도시 이미지를 인식하였다. 이에 따라 평택시에 대한 현황 분석과 이미지에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 단계별 진행으로 시정홍보 디자인 개발을 통한 결과물과 활용방안 등을 매뉴얼에 제시하여 평택시의 긍정적 이미지를 개선하는데 기여하고자 한다.

  • This report described the development of Vision Inspector program which can simulate numerically the image acquisition process of Machine Vision System for automatic optical inspection of any products. The program consists of an illuminator, a product to be inspected, and a camera with image sensor, and the final image obtained by ray tracing.

  • The antiferroelectric liquid crystal display (AFLCD) is a unique display that can at demonstrate a moving image perfectly the passive matrix driving scheme. We optimised driving the waveform and introduced a dual-driving method. Also, by improving this driving method and using line inversion method, we realize the AFLC display of high image quality with $160(RGB){\times}240$, 32768 colors, crosstalk free and flicker free contrast ratio is greater than 60:1, and the brightness is above 200 $cd/m^2$.

  • In this paper, a low price ultrasound image processing system is developed using DSP and PC. Ultrasound for image is generated by the 32-channel transducer. Ultrasound image is captured by DSP instead of the private image grabber board. Display of image and image processing algorithms are performed by PC. The image processing algorithms based on GUI are realized by software. So users without knowledge of image processing can perform the image enhancement more easily.

모시 소재의 문양에 따른 감성 이미지 평가 (The Effect of Motives of Ramie Fabrics on Sensory Image Evaluation)

  • The purpose of the study were to find out (1) the effect of motives on perceiver's image perception on ramie fabrics, and perceiver's trait, age and gender on sensory image evaluation of ramie fabrics. The research was a quasi experiment and experimental materials developed for the study were a set of material stimuli and semantic differential scales to measure sensory image of the stimuli, an aesthetic value scale. the independent design was motif design techniques(Plain Weave, burnt-out, embroidery, stripe, check). The subjects were 421 adults in Daejeon and Seachun. The results was as follows: The factor analysis of semantic differential scales for the ramie materials emerged 4 different image dimensions: attractiveness, hand, elegance, weight). The five design techniques showed significantly different image affects on some selective dimensions. The burn-out design gave the most attractive image, the embroidery design gave the softest image and plain weaved fabric presented the lightest hand image. Consumer's aesthetic values, gender and age tended to affect sensory image evaluation of ramie materials. On conclusion the result revealed that design strategy for the ramie material, design development though motives will be an essential process. and for material design pursued design image and target consumer's trait should be carefully considered.

  • The purpose of this research is for confirming that fashion study has to do with industry through the developing of fashion goods which is related to a trend as a cultural code. Recently fashion design trend is focused on 'retro', 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century not only fashion but also cultural industry, Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of decorative vest design as fashion goods was showed by using retro image. For this process, research steps were as follows : 1. Confirming the meaning of 'retro fashion'. 2. Studying about the flow of retro fashion from 1960s to 1990s. 3, Finding the characteristics of retro fashion design and the image through abroad and domestic collections from 2000 to 2003. 4. Designing and making vest using new concept from the leading images. Through this processed, it was find that retro fashion design had three images : vintage image, ethnic image and romantic image. Then three vests were made by a concept 'a piece of handicraft' using handcraft technique such as beading, patch-work, fringing, scratching, stitching, mixing which were used in retro fashion design characteristics.

  • We have already developed EMI reducing techniques using lossless compression by vertically differential EMI suppression method (VDE[1]). It applies lossless modulo reduction and data bit mapping optimization for low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) transmission lines, that reduces the probability of transient bit and EMI by 12 dB [6][7]. We also improved and optimized the VDE for low power LCD interface. With this modified VDE algorithm[8], the developed FPGA was measured the reduction of the power consumption of LCD circuit by more than 15 % compared to the conventional methods in the case of 14-in LCD with SXGA resolution. The VDE algorithm is based on the total image systematic approach. In the VDE method, the present image signals are subtracted for the 1H delayed image signals and transferred to a column driver through a PCB. As the vertical correlations for image signals are very high, we expected that most of the vertically subtracted image signals remain 0 level and transient cycles become very long. As a result, the power consumption and EMI are extremely reduced for the transferred image signals on a PCB. In this paper, we discussed our proposed method by emphasizing the fact that systematic approach are important based on not only display point of view but also total system point of view.

친환경 항만도시 개발을 위한 항만의 인식 분석 - 인천항만을 중심으로 - (Analysis on Port Image for Development of Port-City Considered Environment Using Fuzzy Theory)

  • 본 연구에서는 인천항의 인식에 관해 퍼지이론을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 인천항만개발에 대해서 긍정적 이미지의 경우는 절충이 0.73, 찬성이 0.27로 나타났고, 부정적 이미지에서도 절충이 0.69, 반대가 0.31로 나타나 항만개발은 절충적으로 고려되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 항만의 이미지에 대해 연령별로 살펴보면 20대와 30대 사이에 긍정적 이미지는 급격히 낮아지는 것으로 나타났고, 부정적 이미지에서는 10대에서 20대 사이에 이미지가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 긍정적 이미지는 레져활동, 휴식공간의 확보 등을 통해 높이고, 종합항만공간, 친환경적 항만개발 전략 등을 통해 부정적 이미지는 낮출 수 있는 항만개발이 요구된다.
