2차 텐서 기반 유사도 함수를 이용한 영상 데이터 분류 (Image Data Classification using a Similarity Function based on Second Order Tensor)

  • 최근 영상 데이터의 효율적인 표현 및 처리를 위해 텐서를 사용하는 연구가 관심을 모으고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2차 텐서로 표현된 데이터를 효과적으로 분류하기 위한 시스템을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 일반적인 벡터 데이터에 대해 개발되어진 클래스 요인과 환경 요인으로 이루어진 데이터 생성 모델을 확장하여 2차 텐서로 표현된 영상에 적합한 데이터 생성 모델을 정의하고, 이에 적합한 유사도 함수를 제안하였다. 제안하는 유사도 함수는 행렬정규분포를 이용하여 환경 요인의 확률분포를 추정함으로써 얻을 수 있다. 여러 벤치마크 데이터들을 이용하여 실험한 결과 2차 텐서를 사용함으로써 벡터 형태의 표현방식을 사용하는 것에 비해 분류율이 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 또한 제안하는 유사도 함수가 다른 기존의 유사도 함수에 비해 영상 데이터에 적합함을 확인할 수 있었다.

전시의상(展示衣裳)에 활용(活用)된 한국적(韓國的) 이미지의 외적형식(外的形式)에 대한 실태조사(實態調査) (Research on the External form of Korean images used in Exhibition clothing)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze designs of exhibition clothing in terms of the use of Korean image, to review objectively contents about the use of traditional image, understand external elements of works, and give directions and basic data for future works. This study selected the total 250 works as the subject of this study among the collected data. This study classified and examined the use of Korean image found in exhibition clothing according to period, item, line and form, material, technique of expression and accessary between 1996 and 2004. The results of analysis are as follows (1) The most artworks were comprised in adaptation were Choson costume. (2) Most of them were clothing works for female. The item of chima were the most preferred in use. (3) The straight lines are used more frequently than curved lines. Forms of skirts were applied to those of silhouettes, H and A form were common. (4) In terms of materials, traditional materials such as silk, linen and cotton were commonly used. (5) Geometric patterns and plant pattern were found more often than others. (6) In terms of techniques of expression, patchwork was most frequent, quilting, embroidery and pleating were ranked second, third and fourth. (7) In accessaries and other item, gorom were most common and norigae were ranked second. (8) As Korean image has been expressed by fine parts of traditional costumes, the traditional living item, and local symbols, the range of works are becoming wider.

바디페인팅에 활용된 배색 이미지 연구 (The Characteristics of Practical Color Combination in Body Painting)

  • Due to the inflammatory of body exposure it did not become popular to the Korean nation but the body painting as a body art is definitely required for it be become a new pure artwork. In this body painting color is the core factor for visual part and expression and coloring obtained from the color is very important in creating effective image. In Korea beauty industry the researches are limited to the study on coloring expression of general beauty makeup. Therefore, this research analyzes color images in recent body painting artworks by defining characteristics of colors and coloring applied by theme. For the research subjects, dominant and secondary colors were extracted from the artworks presented in preliminary and final rounds of year 2012 and 2013 World Body Painting Festival. For the selection of final coloring stimulation the most frequent coloring by theme was first chosen. Among them, 2 individual coloring bands were selected by theme among the high frequency colors. For the analysis of coloring image shown in body painting works total 8 coloring bands were created and they were compared and analyzed by indicating each divided coloring band on the coloring image scale by theme. In this research coloring image analysis was done after examining colors and coloring of artworks presented in World Body Painting Festival by theme. This research has its meaning that it provides information and guideline for coloring design work of body painting by analyzing coloring image used in color and coloring of body painting by theme.

  • 인류가 등장한 이래 커뮤니케이션 수단으로서 많은 영상 디지털 미디어들이 성장하고 확장되어져 왔다. 영상디지털 미디어들은 수신자와 송신자 사이의 커뮤니케이션을 긴밀하게 한다. 미디어의 변화와 테크놀로지의 발전 속에 등장한 영상디지털 미디어는 시각과 청각의 결합을 통해 시각적 정보전달과 시간적 단축을 가져왔다. 이러한 영상 디지털 미디어의 발전 형태로 등장한 것이 모션그래픽이라는 분야이다. 모션그래픽의 발전은 기존의 미디어가 표현해 내지 못하는 다양한 형태의 영상기법과 표현효과를 가능하게 하고 있다. 특히 영화의 타이들, 텔레비전의 프로그램 타이틀, 그리고 광고를 비롯한 뮤직비디오 등 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있다. 이러한 영상표현기법들은 수용자들의 감성을 자극하여 감성커뮤니케이션적인 작용 또한 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 모션그래픽이 수용자들에게 얼마만큼 효과적인 의미전달 매체로서 중요한 역할을 하는지에 대해 그 특성을 알아보고, 모션그래픽이 감성커뮤니케이션 수단으로서 수용자들에게 미치는 영향과 적용을 사례연구를 통하여 연구해 보고자 한다.

  • Generally, Interior design understood as shapes, lines, spaces, tones, quality, and principal. And people research these with a study of formative approach. The six elements of above categories are basis of expansion for the various designs. In this study, the represented design language is extracted by the basic 6 stages and re-divided into classes. This study presented by the Kobayashi-scale image of the current trends in the assignment to examine the cultural, functional, sensory vocabulary, three elements were classified by the assignment about 2008~2009 international fair by trend and design direction for the image. If we look into the categorized format of the design, it reflects mixed culture with emotional approach and shows direction of design constantly. Especially, compared to the year 2008, the design of year 2009 has tendency as an emotional translator regarding the verbal expression. In other words, it becomes more concrete to express the design of emotions for human beings. In addition, design shows detail of its flow with outcomes of past leading trend which was re-created shape. On the other hand, undeveloped cultures such as folk, historical, and unique cultures attract design leaders as it is. This research would make good relationship between designers and customers regarding the newly started international trend of design. Hereby I research with the method to reclassify the image of vocabulary from the image scale extract. It remains as a task to resolve ambiguous, complex and neutral expression for better understanding and definite analysis method to the public.

순환 적대적 생성 신경망을 이용한 안면 교체를 위한 새로운 이미지 처리 기법 (A New Image Processing Scheme For Face Swapping Using CycleGAN)

  • 최근 모바일 단말기 및 개인형 컴퓨터의 비약적인 발전과 신경망 기술의 등장으로 영상을 활용한 실시간 안면 교체가 가능해졌다. 특히, 순환 적대적 생성 신경망은 상호 연관성이 없는 이미지 데이터를 활용한 안면 교체가 가능하게 만들었다. 본 논문에서는 적은 학습 데이터와 시간으로 안면 교체의 품질을 높일 수 있는 입력 데이터 처리 기법을 제안한다. 제안 방식은 사전에 학습된 신경망을 통해서 추출된 안면의 특이점 정보와 안면의 구조와 표정에 영향을 미치는 주요 이미지 정보를 결합함으로써 안면 표정과 구조를 보존하면서 이미지 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 인공지능 기반의 무참조 품질 메트릭 중의 하나인 blind/referenceless image spatial quality evaluator (BRISQUE) 점수를 활용하여 제안 방식의 성능을 정량적으로 분석하고 기존 방식과 비교한다. 성능 분석 결과에 따르면 제안 방식은 기존 방식 대비 약 4.6%~14.6% 개선된 BRISQUE 점수를 나타내었다.

적응형 결정 트리를 이용한 국소 특징 기반 표정 인식 (Local Feature Based Facial Expression Recognition Using Adaptive Decision Tree)

  • 본 논문은 결정 트리(Decision tree) 구조를 기반으로 한 표정 인식 방법을 제안한다. ASM(Active Shape Model)과 LBP(Local Binary Pattern)를 통해, 표정 영상들의 국소 특징들을 추출한다. 국소 특징들로부터 표정들을 잘 분류할 수 있는 판별 특징(Discriminant feature)들을 추출하고, 그 판별 특징들은 모든 조합의 각 두 가지 표정들을 분류시킨다. 분류를 통해 얻어진 정인식의 합을 통해, 정인식 최대화 기반 국소 영역과 표정 조합을 결정한다. 이 가지 분류들을 종합하여, 결정 트리를 생성한다. 이 결정 트리 기반 표정 인식률은 약 84.7%로, 결정 트리를 고려하지 않은 방법보다, 더 좋은 인식 성능을 보였다.

패션필름의 형식과 내용표현의 유형 (The Type of Format and Content Expression of Fashion Film)

  • This study analyzed the type of format and content expression of fashion films, from the perspective of promotion and advertisement. For the analysis, a reference research and case study were employed. Our results showed that the format type of fashion films are categorized as movie type; films that convey a story through lines and provide an interesting element as well as artistic value;, video clip films which consist of intriguing sections in a short-length film;, animation type; films that deliver a message through the virtualized world and a created character;, and music video fashion films that use the musical technique to convey how the story of fashion film is structured. The type of content expression of fashion films are divided into direct expression, which exposes the collection of clothes and accessories directly in fashion films;, metaphorical type; which visually delivers the brand image and product;, and the documentary type; that delivers the brand story and historical facts related to the brand. The study on the analysis of fashion films through type of format and content expression shows how fashion brands effectively and strongly promote their products, enhance their brand values, and increase an interest among the customers.

연극 무대 공간디자인에 대한 수사학적 연구 - 세익스피어 작 "리어왕"의 무대 공간디자인 사례연구를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Rhetorical Expression of Scene Design in Theatre - Focused on the Case Study of the Scene Design of King Lear -)

  • The communication in a play has a dual structure, which is composed of the communications within a play and in a theatre space. This research focuses on the scene design that creates the background or the theme of a play and communicates theme of a play to the audience. A scene design of a theatre has meta-linguistic aspects, which is the image or mood as the theme of a play. The scene design is composed of various design elements of space and objects as the properties of a play. Design elements and the objects are the design languages in various form; plane, three-dimensional, multi-dimensional form. These design languages have the significant meanings as signs like human language. The play works chooses the rhetorical expression to arouse the audience's sympathy. The scene design is completed with rhetorical expression for communication in theatre too. This research defines the category of meanings that design elements of scene design can create and the rhetorical expression of the scene design language. King Lear directed by Robert G. Anderson was analyzed with the category of design elements as a sign and the pattern of the rhetorical expression. The scene design for a play is completed effectively by the rhetorical expression of design elements as the design language for the communication with the audience in theatre.

디지털콘텐츠를 위한 플루이드 아이덴티티 연구 (A Study on Fluid Identity in Digital Contents)

  • The purpose of this study are to show a new possibility of identity design to be used as tools of users identity expression, designing digital contents by studying on the methods to express users identities successfully in the digital contents design, and to present the possibility to expand the area of identity design. Digital contents are a communication media in it self, but this study tried to consider the digital contents as a tool of users communication or expression. The identity expression, which are not only makes communications efficient but also lets products and companies acknowledged by users, is one of the most indispensable factors in products competitive power in both the present and the future. However, no define methods of identity expression are settled as well as recognized by users properly and accurately yet, so that this study focuses on that point. Therefore, This study is advanced in the direction of establishing the concept of digital identity for an expansion of the media toward the identity expression in design as well as making researchers in successful identity expression ways by means of actual design, more than a graphic image making that simply decorates a digital contents. The point of this study is to show a new concept of identity design that expresses users identities so as to suggest another possibility of identity design.
