  • Maritime tourism destinations need to improve image as well as enhance competitiveness through development of new marine tourism attraction due to the decrease of the number of passengers. The maritime city is trying to combine dynamic marine leisure activities as an alternative. For this purpose, it is possible to realize clear marine tourism activation policy and improve the identity of local community through the accurate analysis of the interest of the stakeholder groups of local residents in Songjeong beach in Busan. In this study, we first analyzed the language network based on the expression language related to the conflict between the stakeholders of Songjeong beach. Second, we analyzed the individual characteristics of the structure of conflict frames of stakeholders and suggested solutions by comparing the differences and similarities between perception frames of conflict parties. Third, we distinguish and compare differences of perception among the conflict parties through the detailed frame type. Based on the relationship structure between the detailed frame types of the conflict parties, we suggested an alternative for conflict resolution by restructuring the conflicts and negative perceptions among the stakeholders.

  • To deal with single sample face recognition, this paper presents a patch based semi-supervised linear regression (PSLR) algorithm, which draws facial variation information from unlabeled samples. Each facial image is divided into overlapped patches, and a regression model with mapping matrix will be constructed on each patch. Then, we adjust these matrices by mapping unlabeled patches to $[1,1,{\cdots},1]^T$. The solutions of all the mapping matrices are integrated into an overall objective function, which uses ${\ell}_{2,1}$-norm minimization constraints to improve discrimination ability of mapping matrices and reduce the impact of noise. After mapping matrices are computed, we adopt majority-voting strategy to classify the probe samples. To further learn the discrimination information between probe samples and obtain more robust mapping matrices, we also propose a multistage PSLR (MPSLR) algorithm, which iteratively updates the training dataset by adding those reliably labeled probe samples into it. The effectiveness of our approaches is evaluated using three public facial databases. Experimental results prove that our approaches are robust to illumination, expression and occlusion.

  • Facial rigging technology has been developing more and more since the 21st century. Facial rigging of various methods is still attempted and a technique of capturing the geometry in real time recently also appears. Currently Modern CG is produced image which is hard to distinguish from actual photograph. However, this kind of technology still requires a lot of equipment and cost. The purpose of this study is to perform facial rigging using muscle simulation instead of using such equipment. Original muscle simulations were made primarily for use in the body of a creature. In this study, however, we use muscle simulations for facial rigging to create a more realistic creature-like effect. To do this, we used Ziva Dynamics' Ziva VFX muscle simulation software. We also develop a method to overcome the disadvantages of muscle simulation. Muscle simulation can not be applied in real time and it takes time to simulate. It also takes a long time to work because the complex muscles must be connected. Our study have solved this problem using blendshape and we want to show you how to apply our method to face rig.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine how to visualize classic makeup through Korean visual language in old literature. It provides consumers with creativity to understand and communicate and proposes a new conceptual visualization model. The research method was carried out by drawing from old literature studies, previous reproduction records, examples, and international standard diagram text language expression. First, the visualization work expressed in visual language in old literature was an objective and efficient method of information delivery as a characteristic of information design. Second, visual language expressed in old documents could be divided into makeup materials and actions. Also, the diagrams were appropriate for visualizing materials and materials for storytelling. Third, in the visualization of Korean classic makeup in old literature, images were more appropriate than diagrams in the case of action. The researcher proposed a method of visualizing historical knowledge that went one step beyond the existing simple event timing method. Timeline, correlation diagram, image, and text were combined in various ways to find the most effective historical knowledge visualization method. The representation of Korean classic makeup goes beyond the meaning of language or text and is the cultural content of re-creation, which requires systematic globalization.

  • A deep neural network (DNN) includes variables whose values keep on changing with the training process until it reaches the final point of convergence. These variables are the co-efficient of a polynomial expression to relate to the feature extraction process. In general, DNNs work in multiple 'dimensions' depending upon the number of channels and batches accounted for training. However, after the execution of feature extraction and before entering the SoftMax or other classifier, there is a conversion of features from multiple N-dimensions to a single vector form, where 'N' represents the number of activation channels. This usually happens in a Fully connected layer (FCL) or a dense layer. This reduced 2D feature is the subject of study for our analysis. For this, we have used the FCL, so the trained weights of this FCL will be used for the weight-class correlation analysis. The popular DNN models selected for our study are ResNet-101, VGG-19, and GoogleNet. These models' weights are directly used for fine-tuning (with all trained weights initially transferred) and scratch trained (with no weights transferred). Then the comparison is done by plotting the graph of feature distribution and the final FCL weights.

  • The boundaries between fashion and contemporary art are increasingly blurred showing their interchangeability. This study examines Judith Butler and Athena Athanasiou's concept of dispossession to analyze expressions of gender, racial, and class identity in Martine Gutierrez's representative work, Indigenous Woman. First, gender expressions in Indigenous Woman emphasize the possibility of performative and practical gender as an image that rejects norms that grant authority according to the possession of innate body parts. Second, racial identity is expressed through resistance to the ideology of whiteness and imperialism reinforced by fashion media. The author aims to overcome normative stereotypes through the media she creates, which reveals her identity as a person of color. Third, class identity is represented through stereotypes that limit the lives of indigenous people to primitive and natural things. The author reveals a critical awareness of the hierarchical structure and cultural appropriation these stereotypes have created. This study analyzed contemporary artworks using fashion media through the concept of dispossession. The significance of this study lies in raising a critical awareness of the practices that diffuse minority identities in fashion media.

  • Medical domain has a massive number of data records without the response value. Self-supervised learning is a suitable method for medical data since it learns pretext-task and supervision, which the model can understand the semantic representation of data without response values. However, since self-supervised learning performance depends on the expression learned by the pretext-task, it is necessary to define an appropriate Pretext-task with data feature consideration. In this paper, to actively exploit the unlabeled medical data into artificial intelligence research, experimentally find pretext-tasks that suitable for the medical data and analyze the result. We use the x-ray image dataset which is effectively utilizable for the medical domain.

  • Brothel in China is another word of origin and a noble expression at the same time. Brothel has long been used as a symbol of prestige and wealth as a synonym for integrity innocence. According to documentary records, brothel was used as a place where people with a lot of power and wealth. This meaning in the literature continued until the Late Tang period. In addition, the brothel was also used to refer to the place where the King resides. Therefore, the meaning of Brothel in the Tang period is generally understood as a place where people with high status symbolize the integrity of innocence. However, the image of the brothel, which is connected to the characteristics of a lot of young and beautiful women is increasingly recognized as a place where young ladies reside. For this reason, entering the Tang period the brothel eventually turned into a dwelling of a young woman in a prestigious and wealthy house. Since the time of Ming-Qing, brothel has already been used to refer to prostitute and brothel. In this article, we will look at the historical process of the change of brothel, and examine the process of brothel culture through the environment of brothel and cultural literacy of residents. We hope that this study will provide new perspectives and data to the study of women's cultural history in China.
