국방용 합성이미지 데이터셋 생성을 위한 대립훈련신경망 기술 적용 연구 (Synthetic Image Dataset Generation for Defense using Generative Adversarial Networks)

  • Generative adversarial networks(GANs) have received great attention in the machine learning field for their capacity to model high-dimensional and complex data distribution implicitly and generate new data samples from the model distribution. This paper investigates the model training methodology, architecture, and various applications of generative adversarial networks. Experimental evaluation is also conducted for generating synthetic image dataset for defense using two types of GANs. The first one is for military image generation utilizing the deep convolutional generative adversarial networks(DCGAN). The other is for visible-to-infrared image translation utilizing the cycle-consistent generative adversarial networks(CycleGAN). Each model can yield a great diversity of high-fidelity synthetic images compared to training ones. This result opens up the possibility of using inexpensive synthetic images for training neural networks while avoiding the enormous expense of collecting large amounts of hand-annotated real dataset.

The Impact of National Stereotypes towards Country-of-Origin Images on Purchase Intention: Empirical Evidence from Countries of the Belt and Road Initiative

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore how the country-of-origin image mediates the effect of national stereotypes along two dimensions of perceived competence and warmth, on consumers' consumption behaviors, especially in today's environment, the capricious COVID-19 and the deepening and expanding "The Belt and Road" initiative. Research design, data, and methodology: After collecting 1500 primary data from twelve countries along the 21st - Century Maritime Silk Road, this paper conducts ANOVA and SEM in SPSS25.0 and AMOS 24.0 separately to analyze measurements, structural models, and hypotheses via using 1277 final samples. The mediation results illustrate the asymmetric dominance of the two dimensions of national stereotypes, indicating that the country-of-origin image shows the complementary mediation in the effect of perceived competence on purchase intention; whereas, the country-of-origin image holds the indirect-only mediation in the impact of perceived warmth on purchase intention. The results of the moderation show that the effect of country-of-origin image on purchase intention is more significant for consumers who perceive COVID-19 in China to be of lesser severity than those who believe it to be of higher severity. Based on the paper's results, some implications for practice and theory are highlighted.

여성 인플루언서의 SNS 바디프로필에 나타난 신체표현 이미지의 기호학적 분석 연구 (A Study of Semiotic Analysis of Body Expression Image Shown in the Body Profile of Female Influencer's SNS)

  • The purpose of this study is to interpret the semantic actions of body image symbolized in body expression images shown by micro-influencers body profiles to understand the body profile phenomenon of the MZ generation. As a result of collecting body profile data from micro-influencers, the body profile image types of female influencers on SNS were classified into four types, Athletic, Slim body, Natural, and, Glamorous. Images representing each type were analyzed using the Roland Barthes' Myth model analysis frame. As a result of the semantic analysis, influencers were found to be very active and bold, emphasizing certain body parts according to the type of body image they pursue. Fashion is strategically used to emphasize these aspects. It was found that the ideology of a 'subjective modern woman' was commonly expressed through emphasis on visual signs. This study is meaningful in that it can indirectly lead to the understanding the fashion culture expressed by the MZ generation and provide consumer information and essential data that can be used for communication strategies in the fashion market.

포스트-인터넷 아트에서의 이미지 특징과 예술적 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics and Artistic Application of the Image in Post-Internet Art)

  • 본 연구는 '포스트-인터넷 아트'라는 맥락에 기초하여 네트워크를 매개로 한 이미지의 실체에 대해 알아보고, 작품 이미지 안에서의 적용 사례를 분류·분석하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 웹2.0의 배경과 확장된 디지털·네트워크 환경을 포괄하는 포스트-인터넷 아트에서 이미지는, 고정된 형태를 넘어 다양한 포맷으로 변형·재매개되는 성격을 지닌다. 특히 디지털상에서 저화질로 복제·다운로드·재편집되는 이미지를 히토슈타이얼은 '빈곤한 이미지'라 명명하였으며, 디지털 네이티브 세대인 젊은 작가들은 변화된 네트워크 환경을 포착·재맥락화하고, 다양한 이미지로서 묘사한다. 이러한 맥락에서 포스트-인터넷 아트에서의 이미지 적용을 SNS, 운영체제, 웹사이트에서 발견한 이미지를 수집 후 재구성한 '질료로서 수집된 이미지', 편집프로그램을 통해 새롭게 가공·재맥락화한 '작업에서 가공되는 이미지', 디지털 사회의 단면을 가상과 실재가 결합된 영상·이미지로 나타낸 '혼합된 디지털-현실 이미지'로 분류·분석 할 수 있다.

작업치료학과 학생의 작업치료 이미지 조사 (A Study on the Image of Occupation Therapy in the Dep. of Occupational Therapy Students)

  • 목적 : 본연구의 목적은 작업치료전문직의 발전을 위한 작업치료이미지 개선을 위함이다. 연구방법 : 연구대상은 광주 전남 소재 4년제 대학 작업치료학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 하였다. 총 340부의 자료를 수집한 결과 누락된 문항이 포함되거나 손상된 설문지를 제외시키고 316부를 비교 분석하였다. 결론 : 1) 작업치료학과 학생들의 작업치료 이미지 인식(M=3.676)은 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 2) 본 연구도구요인 분석은 전문적 이미지, 직업적 이미지, 사회적 이미지, 헌신적 이미지 4가지로 구조화하였고 그 결과 전문적 이미지(M=3.925)가 가장 높고, 헌신적 이미지(M=3.84), 직업적 이미지 (M=3.774), 사회성 이미지(M=3.160)의 순이었다. 3) 학년별 작업치료 이미지는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다.

남성 화장품 광고 표현에 나타난 기호학적 분석 (Semiotic Analysis on Advertisement Expression of Men's Toiletries)

  • As social recognition about men changes and men's concern about appearance increases, so in the social phenomenon of men's toiletries' diversification, ramification and specialization, the aim of this study is to analyze meaning of men's toiletries centered on men's toiletries advertisement published on men's fashion magazines which can be said to speak for men's culture. After collecting of 209 kinds of men's toiletries advertisements published in 'Esquire' and based on contents analysis results divided into domestic & foreign toiletries and perfumery, the symbolic analysis result with selection of representative advertisement in each field separately is that there are more cases of giving salience to a product through image expression rather than emphasizing product's function only, and the emphasis of image only achieves eminence in case of perfumery. At the comparison of domestic with foreign toiletries, in case of domestic toiletries, there are more cases of expressing meaning of toiletries through model image or backgrounds, while in case of foreign toiletries, there are more cases of expressing of function or effect of product through general image itself.

GIS기반 PM10 미세먼지농도 실시간 서비스 (GIS-based PM10 Concentration Real-time Service)

  • In this study, by applying mobile based GIS and image analysis of particulate matter ($PM_{10}$) concentration in Seoul and Ulsan in Korea, to identify the user's location and also implemented the application to information exchange. It strengthened citizens' access to air quality information through the application and derived the expanded environment information sharing through real-time user participation. Through atmospheric concentrations image analysis, it showed a new environmental information construction possibility. It had the effect of expanding the information collecting through the local user participation on the limited information collected area which place is not yet constructed atmospheric monitoring network. Location-based particulate matter information service application provides a user location's $PM_{10}$ information from the 25 urban air monitoring network real-time database of the Ministry of Environment. Furthermore, if the user sent a picture of the atmosphere to the server, should match the image density values of the database and express on Seoul's maps through the IDW interpolation. And then a $PM_{10}$ concentration result is transmitted to user in real time.

  • 최근 각종 건설현장에서 최신측량기술을 이용한 다양한 정보 취득을 통해 시공성 및 안전성을 높이는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 디지털 영상은 영상 취득이 간편할 뿐만 아니라 영상으로부터 다양한 정보를 취득할 수 있기 때문에 최근 영상처리기술의 발전과 더불어 많은 활용성이 기대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 터널과 같은 지하공간의 경우 일반렌즈로는 영상 촬영이 어려운 단점을 극복하기 위하여 어안렌즈를 활용한 영상 취득을 제안하였으며, 터널벽면을 모자이크 영상으로 매핑하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 터널벽면에 대한 모자이크영상은 터널현장에서 절리면의 검출과 콘크리트 라이닝의 균열, 누수, 백화, 박리 등의 이상을 검측하고 분석하는데 활용될 수 있다.

한국적 이미지에 관한 에디토리얼 패션 스타일링 연구 - 보그 코리아를 중심으로 - (Study on the Editorial Fashion Styling of Korean Image - Focusing on Vogue Korea -)

  • Recently, the Korean wave has caused many foreign nations to pay attention to various fields including Korean culture, arts, fashion and beauty. Korean images so far were mainly discussed in terms of aesthetics, and there is lack of efforts to visually shape Korean images. On the contrary, Oriental images focused around Japan and China have greater global influence and better globalized fashion styles compared to Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to suggest a globalized proposal of Korean fashion styling which reflects original and unique aesthetic characteristics of Korea that can be accepted by the global market. In this study, the concept and types of fashion styling and stylists were examined, as well as the definition of Korean image and types and characteristics of Korean images shown on fashion magazines. Also, after collecting photographs having Korean images that were included in the editorial fashion styling of Vogue Korea, their characteristics were analyzed. The results of interviews with professional fashion stylists were summarized to propose an editorial fashion styling with Korean image for overseas consumers who long for and wish to imitate Korean fashion styling.

스테레오카메라 기반 이동식 노면정보 검지시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Development of Stereo Camera based on Mobile Road Surface Condition Detection System)

  • PURPOSES : This study attempts to design and establish the road surface condition detection system by using the image processing that is expected to help implement the low-cost and high-efficiency road information detection system by examining technology trends in the field of road surface condition information detection and related case studies. METHODS : Adapted visual information collecting method(setting a stereo camera outside of the vehicle) and visual information algorithm(transform a Wavelet Transform, using the K-means clustering) Experiments and Analysis on Real-road, just as four states(Dry, Wet, Snow, Ice). RESULTS : Test results showed that detection rate of 95% or more was found under the wet road surface, and the detection rate of 85% or more in snowy road surface. However, the low detection rate of 30% was found under the icy road surface. CONCLUSIONS : As a method to improve the detection rate of the mobile road surface condition information detection system developed in this study, more accurate phase analysis in the image processing process was needed. If periodic synchronization through automatic settings of the camera according to weather or ambient light was not made at the time of image acquisition, a significant change in the values of polarization coefficients occurs.
