PISA, organized by the OECD, started with the worries about what competencies students need in preparation for a changing future society. Starting with the first main survey in 2000, PISA, which was administered every three years, is preparing for the eighth cycle. PISA 2022 is a cycle in which mathematics becomes the main domain in 10 years, and the definition of mathematics literacy, mathematical framework, and illustrative examples were released. Therefore, in this study, the definition of PISA mathematics literacy and the trends on the mathematical framework were examined, and the characteristics of the illustrative examples introduced together with the PISA 2022 mathematical framework were analyzed. Through this, implications were drawn for the successful implementation of the 2015 revised curriculum and assessment.

This paper proposes a process to calculate the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) of underground vertical extension methods through considering the characteristics of used construction and demolished materials. The underground vertical extension methods analyzed in this paper were the bottom-up, normal top-down, and top-down methods with multi-post downward (MPD). In order to check the applicability of the proposed process, 24 illustrative examples were generated. The amount of C&D waste of the illustrative examples were calculated and compared. As the results, the top-down method with MPD was the most efficient method to reduce the amount of C&D waste.

This paper suggests a method to construct nonparametric edge blend surfaces between nonparametric (base) surfaces. The blend surface satisfy $VC^1$ condition for the base surfaces, and its fullness can be controlled easily. Several illustrative examples are shown.

How stereo selectivity in singlet and triplet photocycloaddition and photocyclization reactions, respectively, is linked to spin selectivity and how this link affects our understanding of photochemical reaction mechanisms, is described in this review. As illustrative examples, the Paterno-Buchi reaction and the Norrish-Yang cyclization are described with emphasis on triplet biradical structure and dynamics.

We continue the investigations in [6] extending the Bruhat order on n × n alternating sign matrices to our more general setting. We show that the resulting partially ordered set is a graded lattice with a well-define rank function. Many illustrative examples are given.

In this paper, we recall the definition of soft set, fuzzy soft set, hesitant fuzzy set and hesitant fuzzy soft set and some of their examples. We define the concept of hesitant fuzzy soft multiset which combines hesitant fuzzy soft set and soft multiset theory. We also define basic terms in hesitant fuzzy soft multiset with relevant examples. Some basic operations such as restricted intersection, extended intersection, union, restricted union, AND-product and OR-product and their properties are given, supported with illustrative examples. We finally establish some important results, including De Morgan's inclusions and laws.

In this paper, we propose a new stability criterion and a controller design method for switched linear systems. The proposed stability criterion is applicable to each subsystem independently without the need to consider the overall system. The controller can be easily designed through geometric relations between eigenvalues of each subsystem matrix. The proposed methods provide a systematic and simple pole assignment approach for switched linear systems. Illustrative examples are given.

This paper develops the optimal periodic preventive maintenance policies following the expiration of warranty: renewing warranty and non-renewing warranty. After the warranty period is expired, the system undergoes the PM periodically and is minimally repaired at each failure between two successive PMs. Firstly, we determine the expected cost rate per unit time and the expected downtime per unit time for the periodic PM model. Then the overall value function suggested by Jiang and Ji(2002) is applied to obtain the optimal PM period and the optimal PM number. Finally, the numerical examples are presented for illustrative purpose.
