Enuresis is caused by complex reasons. Especially the secondary enuresis is influenced by psychological factor. As a medical care to enuresis, therefore, psychological therapy is highly appraised and oriental medicine psychological clinic is also recognized as an important therapy. IiGyeungByunQi-therapy is a psychological therapy that a doctor changes emotional status of a patient by using various methods. Giungoroen-therapy is another psychological therapy that promotes patient's recognition of disease and will to cure it through conversation. This paper reports the case that child enuresis is satisfactory cured through IiGyeungByunQi and Giungoroen therapy.

Psychology and esters medicine are congenital therapeutic partners. they are closer in concept and practice to each other than either is to the principles of western science and medicine. Estern medicine, like most psychotherapies, is concerned with an individual's unique physical and emotional state. The aim of this study is to review Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) therapy which is one of the psychotherapies in estern medicine. We studied few representative books which are about in estern medicine and also studied some clinical case reports on psychotherapies by estern medicine therapy, specially about Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) therapy. Generally we understood Chukyoo(祝由) is the eldest psychological therapy which is based on Shamanism and controlled by Shaman as a doctor. and it is similar to simple psychoanalysis in western medicine. The psychologic therapy of Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi (移精變氣療法) is typical estem medicine psychologic therapy since the principle of estern medice had built like Hwang-Chi-Nei-Ching(黃帝內經). The meaning. of Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) therapy is holistic psychologic therapy which are based on the harmony of mind and body. The practical method of Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) are to refresh patient's emotional condition, like ventilaltion. The second healing method of Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) is persuasion by dialogue. The third method is to clear patient's doubt by explainning of some qutestions. Therefore, the indication of Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) therapy are psychosomatic disease or psychogenic problems. In conclusion, I suggest that the Ii-Geug-Byun-Qi(移精變氣療法) therapy could be powerfully adopt to prevent or treat lots of disease which is related with mind and body induced by stressor.

Objectives : Neurosis, psychosomatic disease from which most of out-patients suffer originated marital problem in clinical setting, In Oriental medicine, concept and clinical cases of the couple therapy is insufficient. So we suggest the theoretical background and evidence of oriental medical approach. Methods : We searched the theoretical perspectives of recent couple therapy and suggested the psychotherapy with couples in oriental medicine and its clinical utilization. Results : 1. Advantages of the couple therapy in oriental medicine were easy to relationship and emotional communication. because oriental medicine were available to approach of symptom pattern about somatic symptom due to marital problem. 2. Oriental medical therapy, for example, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, etc. connects doctors and the patients easily, unlike dialogue-centered western psychotherapy. 3. The Ii-Gyeung-Byun-Qi Therapy(移精變氣療法) resolve the marital suppressed feeling easily, Gi-Un-Go-Roen Therapy (至言高論療法) is useful in four principle-marital role, communication, sex life, theory of Hwa-Byung. 4. The principle of 'sorrow restraints anger(悲勝怒)' and 'pleasure restraints sorrow(喜勝悲)' in Oh-Ji-Sang-Seung Therapy(五志相勝療法) accords with forgiveness and recovery that is ultimate goal of the couple therapy. Conclusions : Except existing therapy for recovery of marital relation, We suggest the somatic symptom centered approach based on mind and body unification in oriental medicine. This principle would bring the benefit from the marital to familial relation. From now on, we should correct the theory, need the theorical systematization. Then we should develop the program for recovery of marital relation and examine the hypothesis.

In oriental medicine, Psychotherapy has been regarded as a part of physical therapy that seemed inseparable from psychological therapy from old times. Oriental Medical Psychotherapies are like following: Ii-Gyeung-Byun-Qi therapy(移精變氣療法), Oh- Ji-Sang-Seung therapy(五志相勝療法), Kyeongja- pyeongji therapy(驚者平之療法), Jieongoron therapy(至言高論療法) and so on. The special feature of these Psychotherapies is the unification of body and mind. For them, various oriental therapies have been under progress. Especially, Many Oriental Medical Psychotherapist insisted that pain of mind evoke pain of body, or vice versa. We observed Oriental Medical Psychotherapies to treat married couple and had a good result. Husband had alcoholism and wife had functional headache. Especially, wife wanted divorce. The problems of divorce and illness in married couple were resolved from Oriental Medical Psychotherapies.

The purpose of this study was to introduce a PTSD patient who experienced significant effects of mindfulness meditation and Ii-Gyeung-Byun-Qi therapy. Our psychotherapy was executed five times a week for the 14-year-old male patient who attended middle school and was diagnosed by DSM-IV Diagnostic Criteria for PTSD, and then the MMPI-A was evaluated to determine the effects after 3 months. The results showed normal profiles of MMPI-A validity scales and Clinical Scales profile after his treatment, positive changes in content scales, and significant decreases of PSYC (psychoticism) and NEGE (negative emotionality) in PSY-5 scales. This study made through a case report on the treated psychotherapy for PTSD by the applications of modern psychological techniques in the Korean psychotherapy. We expected that this case report will have a role in development of standardized psychotherapy programs for PTSD.

Objectives : Postpartum depression is a kind of serious problem which influences on the parturients, her family. In this case we tried psychotherapy to postpartum depression patient. Methods : We treated the patient with Oriental psychotherapy. And then we compared postpartum depression before treatment with on after treatment by Korean version of Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(K-EPDS). Results : After treatments, the clinical symptoms were improved and K-EPDS was reduced 16 to 6. Conclusions : Oriental psychotherapy is effective on postpartum depression.

Objectives: Major depressive disorder is a severe disease that is associated with suicidal ideation and behavior. In this case, Korean medicine psychotherapy and Korean medicine treatment were used to treat an adolescent patient with major depressive disorder. Methods: The Beck Depression Inventory, Reynolds Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire, and Crisis Triage Rating Scale were used as psychological evaluation scales. Korean medicine psychotherapy focuses on Giungoroen-therapy and IiGyeungByunQi-therapy and Korean medicine treatment combined with acupuncture, moxa, and herbal medicine. Results: Comparison before and after treatment showed improvement in clinical symptoms, Beck Depression Inventory, Reynolds Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire, and Crisis Triage Rating Scale. Conclusions: As a result of applying Korean medicine, psychotherapy and Korean medicine treatment reduces to an adolescent patient with major depressive disorder, depression, suicidal thoughts, and suicidal behavior.
