가공시간에 의한 복합특징형상의 가공순서 생성 (Machining Sequence Generation with Machining Times for Composite Features)

  • For more complete process planning, machining sequence determination is critical to attain machining economics. Although many studies have been conducted in recent years, most of them suggests the non-unique machining sequences. When the tool approach directions(TAD) are considered fur a feature, both machining time and number of setups can be reduced. Then, the unique machining sequence can be extracted from alternate(non-unique) sequences by minimizing the idle time between operations within a sequence. This study develops an algorithm to generate the best machining sequence for composite prismatic features in a vertical milling operation. The algorithm contains five steps to produce an unique sequence: a precedence relation matrix(PRM) development, tool approach direction determination, machining time calculation, alternate machining sequence generation, and finally, best machining sequence generation with idle times. As a result, the study shows that the algorithm is effective for a given composite feature and can be applicable fur other prismatic parts.

  • This Paper is concerned with a man-multi machine assignment problem to minimize idle time. Assuming different types of semi-automatic machines with deterministic service-processing time, the problem approaches by sequential dependent one operator can handle several machines, where determine optimal range the cost of idle labor and machine time is to be minimized in preparing a work schedule. The Procedure, to establish man-machine assignment model, and it's results are: (1) Objective function to minimize opportunity loss cost, which is happened by idle time, is verified recursive process through heuristic method. (2) The algorithm, is programmed by BASIC language for personal computer, and a numerical example is given to illustrate the heuristic algorithm. This study will be helpful to enhance productivity of Shopflooras a result of increasing the efficiencies of both operator and machine.

도심주행에 있어서 가솔린 자동차의 연료소비 및 오염물질 배출특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of gasoline consumption and CO emission in urban traffic)

  • The relationship between vehicle driving pattern and fuel consumption in urban area was studied in Seoul along three representative routes using a test car equipped with all the instruments required for recording modes of traffic and measuring fuel consumption. Correlation with idle speed, fuel consumption and CO concentration of car in use was also measured. The average vehicle speed in Seoul was 31.4 km/h and the time spent in different modes was 23.0% in idle mode, 22.5% in acceleration mode, 32.4% in cruising mode and 22.3% in deceleration mode, respectively. Hence, traffic flow was suggested to be relatively smooth. Fuel consumption per unit distance, .phi. was closely related with trip time spent per unit distance, t, and correlation coefficient obtained from the test car was 0.925, and the relationship between .phi. and t was also obtained from the linear regression with the following equation. .phi.=42.87+0.38 t. Idle speed of vehicle in use was mostly adjusted low and cars which were over the permissible standard of CO concentration (4.5%) were 50% or more. As the idle speed decreased, the fuel consumption was decreased, while the CO concentration was increased. Therefore, the decrease of fuel consumption can not be expected with only a decrease in idle speed.

Sequencing the Mixed Model Assembly Line with Multiple Stations to Minimize the Total Utility Work and Idle Time

  • This paper presents a fast sequencing algorithm for a mixed model assembly line with multiple workstations which minimize the total utility work and idle time. We compare the proposed algorithms with another heuristic, the Tsai-based heuristic, for a sequencing problem that minimizes the total utility works. Numerical experiments are used to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The Tsai-based heuristic performs best in terms of utility work, but the fast sequencing algorithm performs well for both utility work and idle time. However, the computational complexity of the fast sequencing algorithm is O (KN) while the Tsai-based algorithm is O (KNlogN). Actual computational time of the fast sequencing heuristic is 2-6 times faster than that of the Tsai-based heuristic.

  • In this paper, an integrated nonlinear sliding mode observer and controller has been designed in order to control of an automotive engine idle speed. The primary objective of the engine idle speed control is to maintain the desired engine idle speed despite of various torque disturbances via estimating air mass flow at the location of the injector in intake manifold by using a sliding mode observer. Simulation results show that the case where both throttle angle and ignition time are used as control inputs outperforms the case where just only throttle angle is used as a control input.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy logic-based idle speed controller is designed for automotive engine with a purpose of high efficiency and low pollution. When the idle speed is low engine operation is not smooth, otherwise fuel consumption is incresed. Therefore the idle speed must be maintained as low as possible within the scope that ensures smooth operation of engine. By simulation, we show that the idle speed controller has generated a proper control signal as engine condition or enviornment varies, and also operated well for unexpected cases. Also, an engine simulator, which is used as a basic tool for controller design, is developed and utilized for reduction of development time and cost.

  • An Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS) with a unidirectional loop guide path is modeled as a discrete-time stationary Markov chain. It is discussed how to estimate the mean response time, the utilization, and the cycle time of AGV for a delivery order. Three common operation strategies for idle vehicles - central zone positioning rule, circulatory loop positioning rule and point of release positioning rule - are analyzed. These different operation strategies are compared with each other based on the performance measures.

채널 유휴 확률 추정을 이용한 인지 라디오 시스템의 유휴채널 탐색 기법 (Idle Channel Search Scheme for Cognitive Radio Systems Based on Probability Estimation of Channel Idleness)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 채널이 존재하는 인지 라디오 시스템에서 다중 사용자가 협력하여 유휴 채널 탐색 시간을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 구체적으로 채널 상태에 대한 마르코프 모델을 토대로 각 채널의 유휴 확률을 추정하고 확률이 높은 순서대로 채널을 센싱함으로써 유휴 채널 탐색 시간을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안한 탐색 방법을 사용자 그룹을 형성하여 그룹마다 서로 다론 채널을 동시에 센싱하는 방법과 결합함으로써 보다 향상된 센싱 성능을 얻을 수 있도록 한다. 모의실험을 통해 사용자 그룹을 형성하는 방법은 검출 신뢰도를 저하시키지만 탐색시간을 감소시킴을 검증하고, 채널 유휴 확률 추정을 이용한 센싱 순서 결정 방법을 사용하여 임의 탐색 기법에 비해 상당한 탐색 시간 감소 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 검증하였다. 최종적으로 제안한 채널 유휴 확률 추정 기반 탐색 방법과 사용자 그룹 형성 기법을 모두 적용한 인지 라디오 시스템의 유휴 채널 탐색 성능을 검증하였다.

데이터마이닝을 이용한 운행패턴 분석방법에 대한 연구 (An Application of Data Mining Techniques in the Driving Pattern Analysis)

  • 근래에는 경제운전에 대한 중요성이 점차 부각되고 있어 운전자의 운전 행태나 성향을 자동으로 분석한 후 경제운전을 위한 방법을 운전자에게 알려줄 수 있는 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 차량에 대한 운행일시, 운행거리, 운행시간, 주행속도, 공회전시간, 급가속/급감속 횟수, 연료소모량 등의 운행정보를 수집하였고, 데이터마이닝을 이용하여 운전자의 운행패턴이 경제운전에 어떤 영향을 미칠 수 있는지 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 주행 중 운전자에게 지속적으로 공회전과 과속 정보, 급가속/급감속 횟수를 차량 단말에 표현하여 제공하고, 공회전과 과속 비율이 일정 임계치를 초과할 경우 경고 정보를 제공함으로써 경제운전에 악영향을 미칠 수 있는 운전 습관을 미리 예방할 수 있는 방안에 활용할 수 있다.

  • 다중 서버 환경에서 사용자의 요구 서버를 처리하는 서버를 결정하는 데 있어, 시스템의 전체 성능을 극대화시키고 서비스 요청의 응답시간을 최소화하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷상의 유휴 컴퓨팅 자원을 이용하여 다중 서버 환경에서 구축된 콘텐츠 전송 시스템에 적합한 작업할당 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 클라이언트 요구 작업의 예상 서비스시간, 각 서버의 가용길이, 각 서버의 부하량을 퍼지화하고 전문가 지식을 이용하여 새로운 서버 선정 방법을 제시한다. 기존의 방법에 비해 우수한 성능을 증명한다.
