국내기업의 효과적 경쟁정보활동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effective Competitive Intelligence of Korean Firms)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of elements related to the competitive intelligence(CI) process, methods, and infrastructure in accordance with the degree of CI effectiveness of domestic firms and to propose a guideline for designing and operating an effective CI program in Korean films. The results of this study reveal that, for the elevation of CI effectiveness of Korean firms, it is important to actively utilize the overall CI process, including undisclosed information through human networks, public information through various media, and quantitative and qualitative analyses, an independent CI unit, various CI support systems, such as information and reward systems, and organizational culture of CI openness within an organization. However, CI outsourcing, CI primary objectives, and CI scale do not seem to have a significant influence on CI effectiveness of Korean firms. Based on these results, this research presents some important implications for effective competitive intelligence for Korean firms.

  • Enterprise Architecture and its management focuses on the integration of business processes and IT infrastructure, and have received considerable attention from the academic and the practice audience. Despite this attention, some lacuna can be observed that questions some of the fundamental pillars of the domain. The current business environment demands in the response to digitalization add to further challenges which call for the need to reconceptualise enterprise architecture to be relevant to the emerging context. We respond to this call by presenting a comprehensive review of the literature concerning enterprise architecture and management to facilitate future work. Our review revealed various facets related to enterprise architecture and enterprise architecture management which we present and discuss here. Further, we also chart out possible areas of future explorations. By doing so, this research lays a foundation for continuing inquiry on enterprise architecture and management, contributing to new knowledge for the field.

Real-time Knowledge Structure Mapping from Twitter for Damage Information Retrieval during a Disaster

  • Twitter is a useful medium to grasp various damage situations that have occurred in society. However, it is a laborious task to spot damage-related topics according to time in the environment where information is constantly produced. This paper proposes a methodology of constructing a knowledge structure by combining the BERT-based classifier and the community detection techniques to discover the topics underlain in the damage information. The methodology consists of two steps. In the first step, the tweets are classified into the classes that are related to human damage, infrastructure damage, and industrial activity damage by a BERT-based transfer learning approach. In the second step, networks of the words that appear in the damage-related tweets are constructed based on the co-occurrence matrix. The derived networks are partitioned by maximizing the modularity to reveal the hidden topics. Five keywords with high values of degree centrality are selected to interpret the topics. The proposed methodology is validated with the Hurricane Harvey test data.

후원형 크라우드 펀딩에서의 목표 구배 효과; 프로젝트 카테고리 별 차이를 중심으로 (Goal Gradient Effect in Reward-based Crowdfunding; Difference in Project Category)

  • Reward-based crowdfunding is a funding platform that allows funds to be raised to early operators who have lack of funds, and is seen as an outstanding infrastructure that is going to lead the fourth industrial revolution in that it is a field of realization of new technologies and creative ideas by start-ups. Reward-based crowdfunding has grown in line with the trend of the fourth industrial revolution, and funding success cases are taking place in various industries that culture/art to technology/IT, including as a new means of knowledge management in a rapidly changing industrial environment. The study focused on the fact that consumer's donation purposes may also vary depending on the category of projects classified as reward-based crowdfunding. Because consumer payment decisions and motivation of consumer purchasing behavior are classified according to the purpose of purchase, the previous papers that the goal gradient effect that the main motivation of consumer donation for reward-based crowdfunding introduced vary depending on project category of utilitarian and hedonic. In this study, consumer's daily donation data is collected by Indiegogo which is a leading reward-based crowdfunding company using web-crawling and the model was defined as propensity score matching (PSM) and random effect model. The results showed that the goal gradient effect occurred in utilitarian project category, but no goal gradient effect for the hedonic project category. Furthermore, this paper developed the study of motivation of consumer donation and contributes theoretical foundation by the results consumer donation may vary depending on the project category; also, this paper has implications for an effective marketing strategy depending on the project category leaves real meaning to the projector.

WebGIS 기반 한국고고학사전 정보서비스 모델의 제안 (Proposal of WebGIS-based Korean Archaeological Dictionary Information Service Model)

  • 한국 고고학 지식정보를 대표하는 한국고고학사전은 전문가 집단지성에 의해 구축된 정제된 고품질의 정보를 담고 있다. 이것은 해외의 고고학 데이터 아카이브와 명확히 구별되는 특성으로, 차별화된 인프라 데이터라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 최신의 디지털 기술을 반영한 정보서비스 또는 지식정보 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 수행하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 강점을 극대화하고 약점을 보완할 수 있는 방안으로, GIS 기반의 한국고고학 지식정보 플랫폼 구축과 운영을 제안한다. 이를 실현하기 위해 각종 정보를 수집·저장할 수 있는 리포지터리와 메타데이터 관리시스템 구축, 위치기 반 온톨로지 데이터 설계, 개방형 연계 데이터 설계와 시스템 구축, 시멘틱 WebGIS 기반의 정보서비스체계 구축이 요구된다. 이것은 한국고고학 지식정보를 지속적으로 관리·보완·갱신하고, 유비쿼터스 환경에서 다양한 형태의 비즈니스 모델을 창출할 수 있는 플랫폼이 될 것이다.

출판유통 RFID 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Publishing Distribution System Application for RFID System)

  • Greeting the globalization and information period of 21C, the improvement of the distributional system structure and modernization of publishing distribution are the seriously required periodic assignments for the publishing industry that is a national knowledge and culture industry to be equipped with the core competitiveness. First, it is to found a large distributional organization that is able to provide total logistics services in time that is essential to the publishing company and bookstore. Second, it is to have a logistics service to act up to the variable requirements of customers such as publishing companies and bookstores under the rapidly changing distribution environment. Third, it is to provide the standardized information of publishing distribution. It is needed to establish a total distributional center in collaboration to satisfy the requirements of publishing industry as above. By doing this work, structure of the publishing distribution system can be improved and its constitution can be strengthen, and it is possible not only to construct a stable supply system but also to realize an information-based system in the publishing industry with the construction of information system and its utilization. Furthermore, the application of RFID in the publishing distribution is essentially required to provide the symbolic model and logistics infrastructure into the 'Paju publishing culture information industrial complex'. It could be possible by growing the international recognition regarding distribution environment and strengthening the international competitiveness in the period of the ""Open door".

인터넷 기반 디자인 및 생산지원 분산환경 프로세스관리 기법 연구 (Internet Based Managing Design and Production Processes in a Distributed Global Environment)

  • This paper is to develop an information infrastructure to support managing process in design, planning, production, and quality control. Multi-media data set of design, product, and management information flow between organizational units of a virtual enterprise. The process is the logical organization of people, technology and practices incorporated into work activities to make an end product. The core of the infrastructure is the enterprise framework which coordinates activities and controls the process. The proposed framework manages collaborative activities across space and time, and between users and computers who share information in virtual community. It utilizes knowledge distributed through virtual community and fosters cooperation between organizations. The framework provides the following facilities; coordinating activities, sharing data and processes, visualizing multi-media data, customizing and updating processes, reusing data and processes. This paper covers design and manufacturing activities but our focus is initially targeted at design area.

지식서비스의 정보품질과 시스템품질이 지식서비스 역량에 미치는 영향: 지식서비스 유형을 중심으로 (The Effect of Information Quality and System Quality on Knowledge Service Competence: Focusing on Knowledge Service Types)

  • 기업의 지식 자원은 조직의 지속 가능한 성장을 촉진하는 역할을 한다. 이에 기업은 조직의 구성원들이 새로운 지식 자원을 원활하게 탐색하고 개발할 수 있도록 지원해 주어야 한다. 기업은 보유하고 있는 지식 자산을 통해 기존의 지식을 개선하거나 새롭게 생성할 수 있어야 하며, 이를 위해 기업은 지속적으로 구성원들에게 정보와 인프라를 제공해야 한다. 이러한 정보와 인프라를 외부로부터 수혜 받는다면 해당 서비스를 지식서비스라 할 수 있다. 기업이 보유하고 있는 지식서비스의 다양성 수준은 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 지식서비스 유형을 분류할 수 있는 지식서비스 유형 매트릭스를 제시하였으며, 지식서비스 이용자들의 개선된 성과를 역량모델을 기반으로 기초역량(개인역량, 학술역량)과 산업역량(R&D 역량, 기술역량)으로 정의하여 측정지표를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 세 가지 지식서비스 유형(정보제공형, 정보분석형, 인프라형)에 대한 지식서비스 품질(정보품질, 시스템품질)과 산업역량(R&D 역량, 기술역량) 간의 관계에 있어 기초역량(개인역량, 학술역량)의 매개효과를 분석할 수 있는 연구모형을 제시하였으며, 이용자 집단(대학, 민간기업체, 정부기관)에 따른 지식서비스 품질과 지식서비스 역량 차원의 차이를 분석하였다. 분석결과 지식서비스 유형에 따른 기초역량의 매개효과(완전매개, 부분매개)가 명확하게 차이를 보였으며, 소속집단에 따른 지식서비스 품질과 지식서비스 역량의 차이도 제시하였다. 본 연구는 지식서비스의 유형 분류, 지식서비스 유형에 따른 속성 및 지식서비스 역량 지표를 고민하는 연구자들에게 학술적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하는 연구이다.

웹 기반 중국인물정보원의 현황 조사와 분석 연구 (A Status Investigation and Analysis of the Chinese Web-Based Biographical Information Sources)

  • 본 연구는 웹 기반 중국인물정보원의 현황조사와 분석을 목적으로 중국과 대만 및 일본과 미국의 웹기반 중국인물정보원의 현황을 조사하고, 중국의 CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure) 정보원데이터베이스 중 주제사전 영역의 하나인 '성씨(姓氏)'와 인물전기(人物傳記) 영역과 미국의 CBDB(China Biographical Database Project)의 '중국역대인물전기데이타베이스(중국역대인물전기자료고(中國歷代人物傳記資料庫))'를 비교 분석하였다. 나아가 웹 기반 중국인물정보원의 현황조사와 분석 결과에 따른 문제점을 살피고 효율적인 관리와 활용을 위하여 중국과 한국의 바람직한 방향을 제안하였다.

  • Utilization of information and communication technologies is commonly accepted as important to value creation in the knowledge economy. Nevertheless, empirical findings from our business case studies often show that while sophisticated technological tools may be developed, the potentials are not realized. It is evident that technology is subject to adaptive and emergent strategies of use, diverging from the original intention. Within this space of opportunities, we elaborate the importance of constructing strategic concepts as communication tools to support organisational implementation of technologies. We use the concept of organisational implementation as a way of taking the technology into use in order to support changes and value creation in the user organisation. In this paper we present our findings related to how use and experiences are conditioned by the users' expectations. We have conducted a business case study in order to understand and explore how users employ and use a particular wireless technology infrastructure. On behalf of the infrastructure vendor, we have studied three different organisations that use this technology. The overall research goal of our joint research project was to find out what is good use and for whom. We find that users struggle to go beyond the expectations they had when they were conceptualising and telling us about their practice. We have good indications that a narrowed consciousness was also conditioning the users' use of the technology. In this paper we draw the conclusion that technological implementations towards changing work practices and value creation must not be viewed by the company solely as a knowledge acquisition process, but as a process of knowledge creation. Organisational implementation is an ongoing process, a learning process at both the organisational and individual level. Flexible tools and technologies are constituted and shaped in interaction and communication in the workplace. Based on that knowledge, we build up an argument for an organisational implementation framework, including strategic discussions, learning spaces, and concept constructions.
