본 연구에서는 동물병원 창업을 중심으로 국내 기존 펫(pet) 창업자의 특성이 창업성공에 미치는 영향을 평가해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 동물병원 창업자의 배경적 특성과 심리적 특성, 그리고 창업준비과정 특성, 동물병원 서비스요인 특성들이 창업성공 요인, 즉 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 재무적 성과 및 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울 경기 지역 동물병원 150곳에 대하여 설문을 통한 조사연구를 수행하였으며 다음과 같은 주요 결과를 도출하였다. 우선, 창업성과 요인 중 재무적 성과에 대한 연구모형의 분석 결과, 창업자의 배경특성변인 중 학력 요인은 동물병원의 재무적 성과에 부정적인 영향력을 미치며, 창업자의 심리특성 중 통제위치 요인이, 창업준비과정 변인 중에서는 자금조달 요인이 전체적인 재무적 성과에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 창업성과 요인 중 비재무적 성과에 대한 연구모형의 분석 결과, 창업자의 창업준비과정 변인 중 위험감수성향, 서비스품질 중 무형서비스품질이 비재무적 성과에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This paper was tried to show the improvement model for software industry structure in Korea regarding to have the global level of competence in Korean software firms. To suggest the improvement model for software industry structure, the detailed status about software industry which as in the supply and demand perspectives and comparativeness dimension were analysed. Also to this model the special survey results from the 35 professionalists in the software industry were included. This improvement model suggests the big software firms have to consider the economy of the scale, and to enter global IT market, the other SMEs have to pursuit themselves as a specified technology firms. So it is good for the oversea project collaboration with the solution provider firms and IT service firms. And it is desirable to make a the economy of scale regarding as the solution venture startup, M&A, networking the software firms as supply chain. Also the development of new business model for new market and firms with the high-tech business competency will be required.

Biotechnology has strategic importance related to the development of start-up companies, industries and nations in the near future. Therefore, many countries have promoted and developed biotechnology. The United States has led the world in promoting biotechnology. American biotechnology policies are diverse, and thus no comprehensive systematic studies have been done on it. In our paper, we will discuss American biotechnology policy in detail. For effective analysis, we will rely on the concept of a national innovation system, which emphasizes the institutional settings of innovation actors and their interaction. This paper deals with the American national innovation system for biotechnology. We will analyze the role of major actors, academia, public research institutes, and venture companies and their interactions. The American biotechnological innovation system is composed of diverse actors and numerous start-up companies in the biotechnology industry. In addition, there are many diverse policy programs for promoting biotechnology. Because of country-specific frame conditions, every country has different institutional settings and policies for promoting biotechnology. Our paper will render meaningful implications for various countries. We also think that this paper will be of interest for international readers.

This study aims to analyze the digital performance of Kazakhstan through dynamic analysis of national statistics and international indices as Global Innovation Index and ICT Development Index. The research combines three stages: analysis of digital transformation policies performance, review of ICT industry development, and comparative analysis of the positions of Kazakhstan, Turkey and South Korea as a benchmark in the international indices. This research findings show that despite great efforts of Kazakhstan in digitalization, the ICT industry contribution does not increase, it even falls. The international indices demonstrate that the reason is the weakness of the country in skills, venture capital, and innovation linkages. This leads to low knowledge, technology outputs, and creative outputs. The enablers of digital and overall innovation advancement of economy are identified. According to the international rankings the country has been doing its best in Access and Use areas. Another enablers are good business environment, ease of starting a business, protecting minority investors, and FDI inflows. The findings help to draw recommendations for strategic directions in order to improve the digital performance in Kazakhstan. The main limitation of this study is a lack of dynamic information on positions of Kazakhstan in other international indices related to digitalization.

In order to have the highest level of a certain society's technology be evaluated as digital contents technology the value concept of such technology's social utilization must be established while active investment on the technology takes place and makes it the subject of social capitalization. This study wishes to discuss the strategies and methods of establishing and managing IP holding company which requires business activation with digital contents technology at its base, research ways of vitalizing IP holding company to expand social utility values of contents technology, suggest necessary systemic improvements and investment activation methods, management structure, and governance structure by investigating ways to stimulate the industrialization of contents technology through the establishment and management of this IP holding company, and finally come up with a realistic measure to establish and manage a IP holding company. Strategies on commercialization of digital contents technology and acceleration of technology development, as well as activation of venture business set-ups will be analyzed and suggested based on such suggestions while IP holding company's digital contents technology investment activation model will be established to produce means to realize discovering superior contents companies and activation of investment, and activating high quality contents production for the global market.

정부 산업정책의 전략적 지원단위인 벤처기업의 지속가능한 성장을 위해 해외진출의 중요성이 강조되는 경영환경 하에서, 본 연구는 벤처기업의 해외진출과 이에 따른 성과에 영향을 미치는 기업의 내부상황특성을 규명하고, 기업가정신과 해외진출동기 및 성과 간의 영향관계에 있어 내부상황특성의 영향력을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 내부상황특성으로 기업업력, 조직규모, 해외경험 및 조직구조로 대변된 조직자원과 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성으로 구성된 기업가정신을 설정하였다. 2010 벤처기업 정밀실태조사 데이터를 활용하여 연구목적을 충족하는 기업을 층화표본추출한 후 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 개별기업으로부터 회수된 총 289개의 응답데이터를 다중회귀모델을 통해 분석하였다. 내부상황특성 중 기업업력과 조직규모는 기업가정신과 해외진출동기 간의 영향관계에는 조절효과가 확인되지 않았으나 진출성과 간의 영향관계에 있어 유의한 조절효과를 보여주었다. 해외경험과 조직구조는 해외진출동기 및 진출성과 모두에 대하여 기업가정신과 결합할 경우 유의한 조절효과가 형성되는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과는 조직의 상황특성과 기업가정신으로 대변되는 내부자원특성이 벤처기업의 해외진출결정에 분명한 영향관계를 가질 뿐만 아니라 지속적인 진출성과를 달성하는 데에 유효성을 갖고 있음을 의미하며, 내부상황특성과 기업가정신이 적절히 결합될 경우 효과적인 해외진출과 우수한 진출성과가 창출될 수 있음을 의미한다. 본 연구의 결론에서는 분석결과에 대한 해석을 포함하여, 벤처기업의 해외진출을 촉진시키기 위한 경영활동방향과 성과제고를 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시한다.

소상공업은 국내에서 가장 많은 노동력을 흡수하는 기업이다. 국내 경제에서 소상공업이 차지하는 비중이 매우 크기 때문에 국민경제에서 영세 기업의 위치는 중요하고 전략적인 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 소상공인의 사업 경험, 역량(직무역량, 금전역량, 디지털역량), 정부지원서비스(정부지원 만족도, 교육지원)이 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 229명의 소상공인으로부터 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 통계분석방법은 SPSS 24.0을 사용하였으며, 본 연구의 가설검증을 위한 요인분석, 신뢰도 검정 및 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소상공인의 역량이 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 역량 요인 중 금전적 역량과 디지털 역량이 성과에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정부지원서비스가 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 정부지원 만족도, 교육지원이 성과에 양(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 소상공인의 사업 경험, 역량, 정부지원서비스와 성과와의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과는 자금역량→자기효능감→성과, 디지털역량→자기효능감→성과에서 유의미한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Purpose of this study is to prove empirically the relationship between ventures' technology valuation and performance, while considering the uniqueness of Korean firms. We use technology valuation index, marketability valuation index, business valuation index as ex-ante independent variables, use firm's performance(sales, asset, operating income ratio, net income ratio etc) as ex-post dependent variables. Parametric analysis such as Paired T-test, ANOVA are applied in this paper. The results of Empirical analysis is summarized as follows. Firstly, operating income ratio and net income ratio are different in portfolios classified by technology valuation index. Secondly, the growth rate of operating income is different in portfolios classified by technology valuation index. Finally, this study has shown that technology valuation index has possibility which it use the predictive variables of ventures' performances.

There has been a surge of interest in private equity as an alternative corporate restructuring scheme to complement the current institutional forms such as workouts and court receivership. By empirically examining whether private equity in Korea can improve investee companies, we find that while private equity in Korea did not sacrifice the long-term growth potential of investee firms, it did not improve their profitability (e.g. ROA, ROE, and ROS) or growth (e.g. sales growth) either. Both the negative correlation between business performance and firm age and our empirical results showing that young firms were favored by private equity for investment imply that Korean private equity may perform as growth capital, similar to venture capital rather than as buyouts for corporate restructuring.

u-IT 기술의 발달로 인해 통신, 방송, 포털, 콘텐츠, 장비 및 솔루션 등 사업의 모든 분야에 u-IT Convergence 기기들이 연구 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 u-IT Convergence를 정의하고, u-IT Convergence 기기들과 단말에서 정보를 감지하는 온도, 압력, 자기, 광, 가스, 습도 센서들에 대한 정의와 평가 기준으로 기술성, 경제성, 경영성 등의 평가 기준을 제시한다. 또한 u-IT Convergence 기기들에 대한 평가 기준에 따르는 u-IT Convergence 네트워크 기기의 표준화 기준을 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통해 유비쿼터스 정보화 사회에서 기술적인 발전과 기기들에 대한 정확한 인증 평가를 통해서 안정성과 신뢰성을 갖춘 평가 제품으로서 가치를 정립하고 표준화를 이루는데 기여하게 될 것이다.
