It discussed the equipment for a TWC system and a automatic operation from the dissertation which it sees.   • As IT is also recognized as assets, IT assets management system is trying to introduce for the management and operation in domestic enterprises and public institutions. The general assets management system was introduced in domestic companies, but because it managed mainly the only simple information about the assets, there were a lot of operational difficulties of the assets. In order to operate effectively the IT assets used in special business such as bank, prosecutors, railway, etc the classification system of IT assets based on the EA was needed first of all. Accordingly, in this paper, we classified IT assets systematically according to the EA meta model Application Guide V1.4 in consideration of the characteristics about the IT asset business for A public institution, and performed to improve the operating costs and efficiency by implementing a web-based IT assets management system for this public institution.

  • Expert system is a practical application part of the artificial intelligence and can be generally described as a computer-based system designed to simulate the knowledge and reasoning of a human expert, and to make that knowledge conveniently available to other people in a useful way. Expert systems consist of three major components, knowledge base, inference engine and user interface. In this paper, it is aimed to construct a prototype system to design the horizontal-typed pressure vessel. To do this, a representative artificial programming language, Turbo Prolog, was employed, and the knowledge representation was mainly done by the production rule such as "If(condition), than (action)" style and by the predicate logic. In the developed system, it was quite easy to represent the knowledge of "If(condition), then (action)"style and by the predicate logic.   • The SW-centered battlefield management information system R&D project takes a long period of 5-10 years or more by applying a complex and rigid batch acquisition strategy. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to institutionalize a rapid and flexible battlefield management information system R&D project management procedure applying agile development methodology, and a government project management organization and contract management method to support it In this study, we analyzed the case of applying the Agile development method centered on Scrum to the US SW-centered weapon system R&D project and the characteristics and problems of the battlefield management information system R&D project in Korea, and suggested improvement measures as follows. First, the battlefield management information system R&D model applies the hybrid development method, and the system requirements analysis and system structure design use the existing waterfall development procedure, and the agile method is applied from the SW requirements analysis to the system integration stage. Second, flexible adjustment of performance, schedule, and cost by organizing an Agile IPT in which military (requirements) - DAPA (project management) - developer - functional specialized organizations (test and evaluation, quality, government research institutes, etc.) participate. Third, improving the Basic Order Agreement so that it can be applied to agile R&D.

Power-Flow Simulator with Visualization Function Based on IEEE Common Data Format

  • In this paper, a power flow simulator, which visualizes power flow and system configuration, is proposed and implemented. Generally, it is necessary to prepare a text file with power-system descriptions, which is one of the barriers for power-flow simulations. The proposed simulator has a function of automatic generations of IEEE common data format files from user-drawn power-system diagrams. Therefore, it is possible for users to carry out simulations only by drawing power system on display. In addition, the proposed simulator also has a function that power-system diagram is illustrated automatically from an IEEE common data format file. By using this function, it is possible to visualize amounts and directions of power flows on the bus-system diagram, which helps users to comprehend network dynamics intuitively. Because the proposed simulator allows including renewable-resource generators in power systems, it is useful to evaluate the power distribution system. It is shown in this paper that the proposed simulator can make IEEE common data format files correctly and illustrate intuitive power flow.

  • This study is to diagnose the present superintendent election and education standing committee system for improvement based upon Constitutional values of local education system. The findings are the followings. To improve the election system of superintendent it is recommended to maintain present election system rather than change it drastically since the present system ensure relatively more autonomy, expertise, and political neutrality of local education system. However, the qualification such as years of educational experiences of superintendent candidates need to be restored. Regarding education standing committee it suggest that all or at least 2/3 members need to be educational representatives rather than general representatives. For superintendent as well as education standing committee election, it needs to elaborate the vote ballet such as change of candidates name order by voting place to reduce its effects to election results. It also needs to strengthen public management of election such as expenses and TV forums among candidates.

Adaptive Multimodal In-Vehicle Information System for Safe Driving

  • This paper proposes an adaptive multimodal in-vehicle information system for safe driving. The proposed system filters input information based on both the priority assigned to the information and the given driving situation, to effectively manage input information and intelligently provide information to the driver. It then interacts with the driver using an adaptive multimodal interface by considering both the driving workload and the driver's cognitive reaction to the information it provides. It is shown experimentally that the proposed system can promote driver safety and enhance a driver's understanding of the information it provides by filtering the input information. In addition, the system can reduce a driver's workload by selecting an appropriate modality and corresponding level with which to communicate. An analysis of subjective questionnaires regarding the proposed system reveals that more than 85% of the respondents are satisfied with it. The proposed system is expected to provide prioritized information through an easily understood modality.

  • In this paper, I derived some function factors from ITA role in organization as to analyze what ITA function has influenced on ITA governance. The factors of IT governance system and their effects on the their organizations are discussed and the relationships are verified by empirical model. In result of statistical analysis based on the 223 case of organizations, it appeared that IT infrastructure, IT technology system and IT performance system of IT functions are the contributing factors on the IT Governance. The main analysis results described significantly are shows as follows. Through the introduction of ITA which has improved technology system support and performance system level, it is effected by the ITA Governance system building.. In special, focusing on IT infrastructure systemization., IT service level is expected to improve of the IT Governance sphere, This study is intended to propose how to improve information management efficiency through ITA.

The Unary Feedback Over-Reporting Avoidance Scheme for the Event Report Management on the OSI Network Management System (OSI 망관리 시스템에서 사건복 관리를 위한 1진 피드백 과보고 회피기법)

  • In this paper, we propose over-reporting avoidance scheme which avoids congestion of network traffics by adjusting managed system's over-reporting, on the OSI network management model which reports events from managed system to managing system. In case of reporting events from managed system to managing system, management traffic concentration occurs, and it causes over-loading on the managing system and congestion on the network. This scheme takes advantage of feedback from managing system to managed system. Managed system transmits event reports as much as maximum event pertime allocated to itself to managing system, and it sets it's management variables to LOCK state and stops event reports as Threshold time is reached. At the time, managing system directs event reports again by using M-set primitive with referring it's status. With this scheme, distributed processing, dynamic network adaptation, convergence of optimal operation point is possible. In addition to it, a fairness is assured. In order to detect characteristics of the Unary feedback over-reporting avoidance scheme. It is observed a control capability of the event reporting and fairness of each nodes through measuring. ThresholdTime value. It is measured a number of mean activating nodes and maintained time of LOCK state according to event reporting load, and also measured lost ratio of management packet, queuing delay in managing system, and goodput to observe effects of general packet load. Binary feedback scheme. Unary feedback overreporting avoidance scheme and raw scheme on the OSI network management system each are compared and analyzed, and finally proved that the scheme proposed in this study performs better.

  • Recently, the development of the information communication industry has made many changes in the industrial acoustic industry. Especially, it has a great influence on the change of system and equipment of acoustic system. Analog equipment is changing to digital equipment, and integrated control equipment makes it easier to operate and manage the sound system. However, the integrated control system currently on the market is only controllable for some devices. In this paper, we propose a new AoIP - based system configuration method, which enables the operation status monitoring, unmanned operation and self - diagnosis of equipment. As a result of the study, it is confirmed that the proposed system can be operated, monitored, and self - diagnosed at remote sites. It is expected that an AoIP- based sound system will be the industry standard in the future.
