  • An issue of globalized and competitive business environment is a transformation of manufacturing strategy for rapidly product development. To copy with these trends, building up a market from various product is becoming conspicuous the core strategy of manufacture. Therefore, it is increasing of necessity for the environment of collaborative product development. As a part of corresponding for these demands, we propose the method that allows easy and rapid integration of legacy resources within the company and between departments. The proposed framework can easily construct a distributed environment for collaborative design between departments in the companies. It was implemented using CO/sup TM/ based on DOME (Distributed Object-based Modeling Environment) that is knowledge based engineering solution.

  • Facility layout for enterprise's competitive power strengthening and construction of offensive manufacture line and direction presentation for design of production management system that is new by operation improvement according to S company. In enterprise in JIT(Just in Time) system of leading persons affecting in productions among a lot of habitat factor analyze. It is that through equipment Layout among those factors enterprise my problem improve and serves enterprise's absolute ability cultivation. Even if it is JIT production main point that affect to apply the modular production to productive system among at equipment Layout, lot size, bottleneck session etc. worker's multi-function anger, change of demand factor and productive capacity add. 'S' Through enterprise's example, I wish to establish Korean medium and small enterprises' manufacturing industry style equipment Layout model by taken place effect interpretation.

The design methods of Infrared Camera with Continuous zoom

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient design method for a thermal camera with continuous zoom based on the research and manufacturing experience of the thermal camera. In addition, it is divided into system design method, optical design method, mechanical design method, and electronic design method. First, we propose an effective NUC compensation method and a lens-specific sensitivity design method in terms of system. Second, we propose a zoom trajectory design method considering the temperature effect on the optical aspect. Third, it suggests the minimization of optical axis shaking between magnification conversion in terms of mechanism. Finally, we propose a lens-specific temperature compensation method and a speed conversion algorithm according to the zoom interval as an electronic aspect.

  • Many monopropellant thrusters use a catalyst for decompose the propellant, hydrazine. The catalyst directly affects the thruster performances and lifetime. Therefore, it is important to confirm that the catalyst is suitable for our thrusters. Until 2002, we used She1l405 catalyst, for satellite RCS thrusters, and H-IIA and M-V launch vehicle upper-stage RCS thrusters. In 2002, however, Shell Chemical Inc. ceased manufacturing She1l405 catalyst and transferred the product to AEROJET, where it was renamed S405. We subsequently investigated the characteristics of AEROJET's S405 catalyst and SOLVAY's KC12GA catalyst, (SOLVAY is a Belgian chemical company, and KC12GA is used for ASTRIUM's thruster) and conducted thruster firing tests using the new catalysts. After conducting, we confirm that the KC12GA catalyst was suitable for our thrusters, and decided to use KC12GA for two satellite programs.

  • A company needs to maintain its machines always workable in order to keep the manufacturing time minimal. If any troubles un, they should be fixed as soon as possible. But, the complexity of modem machines make the trouble shooting difficult. So, it is important that the monitoring system for automated production system to fix every trobule easily. In this paper new, inverter control system for TG feedback a formula Control was developed. The motor control system with TG feedback controller as an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of Control System. The function of the implementation are TG feedback type, and temperature scheme. The Inverter Control System approach is based on master-slave control concept. To show validity of the developed new inverter control system severial experiments are illustrated.

  • Currently, the world is facing severe inflation due to Corona and the war in Ukraine, and it is causing a lot of difficulties for us. Companies are facing a lot of restrictions on their economic activities compared to the past due to supply chain problems and foreign exchange rates. In this situation, many countries have been implementing various smart factory promotion projects to secure competitiveness through productivity improvement in the manufacturing industry. In this study, the contents of smart factory promotion in major countries were reviewed, and problems raised about the implementation of smart factory in Korea, which are being implemented based on this, were described. It is most reasonable to judge the success of a smart factory by the achievement of the performance indicators presented at the time of the project. Therefore, based on the performance index of the business, which is a key factor in determining the success or failure of a smart factory, we investigated whether the company's smart factory promotion can be carried out successfully through examples

  • The field of textiles and clothing is intimately involved in the business as a practical study. Many researchers consider how apply the theory to the business. Therefore, the study explores a process which builds an efficient relationship of industry-university focused on the example applied to an industry-university project of uniform design. The development process of the studyis composed of 4 levels: research and analysis, design development, production of samples, and manufacturing. In the process of research and analysis, it found out preference of design elements. These elements were reflected in design development to satisfy employee of wearing uniform. In the level of design development, 20 designs were deployed to use CAD system. Five deigns of them were produced to samples in 3 stages. Finally, to manufacturing was in charge of cooperative enterprises with clothing production equipment and university played a role of inspector. From theses research results, it has known that the field of uniform business is suitable for industry-university project because an enterprise with an order can get advice about clothing, a manufacturing company is able to complement a weaknessin the design, and university can have a chance applied the theory to the business. After this, the study will make a contribution to setting the direction of business to industry-university project.

  • VLSI(Very Large Scale Integration)와 WSI(Wafer Scale Integration)와 같은 통합기술로 인해 큰 용량의 메모리 대량생산이 가능 하게 된 지금 Redundancy는 메모리 칩의 제조와 결함이 있는 셀을 지닌 디바이스를 치료하는데 광범위하게 사용되어져왔다. 메모리칩의 밀도가 증가함에 따라 결함의 빈도 또한 증가한다. 많은 결함이 있다면 어쩔 수 없겠지만 적은 결함이 발생한 경우에는 해당 다이를 reject 시키는 것 보다는 수선해서 사용하는 것이 메모리생산 업체 입장에서는 보다 효율적이고 원가 절감 차원에서 필수적이다. 이와 같은 이유로 laser repair라는 공정이 필요하고 laser repair공정의 정확한 타깃을 설정하기 위해 redundancy analysis가 필요하게 되었다. CRA시뮬레이션은 기존의 redundancy analysis 알고리즘의 개념에서 벗어나 결함 유형별로 시뮬레이션한 후 RA를 진행함으로써 RA에 소요되는 시간을 절약함으로써 원가 경쟁력 강화를 할 수 있다.

  • As the budget size and complexity of 1T investment are growing, IT value measurement becomes more critical to the success of IT management In public organizations and private firms. It has been known that there are many factors such as IT costs, risks, qualify, and usage that should be taken Into consideration during the process of measuring IT value and making IT Investment decisions. However, little research has been done so far In order to analysis factors affecting the IT value and effectiveness. The purpose of this study Is to Investigate the impact of IT Project types and ownerships on IT value evaluation. The three research questions are as follows : (1) Does IT project type such as transactional, Informational, and infrastructure have any impact on 1T value measurement\ulcorner (2) Does the IT development ownership has any Impact on IT value\ulcorner (3) Does the IT operation ownership has any impact\ulcorner The empirical research was done at S-Electronics, world-wide known and the biggest manufacturing company in Korea, based on the method of structured interview. About 200 individual Information systems have been evaluated to calculate ROI measures, the dependent variable In this study. The results of statistical analysis show that two of three Independent variables, IT project types and IT development ownership, have statistically significant effects on IT value in terms of ROI measures.

World Class SI 기업으로의 도약 : 핵심 경쟁력 확보를 위한 R&D 모델 개발 (A R&D Model for Korean SI Companies' International Competitiveness)

  • This thesis suggests a R&D model for Korean SI companies who aggressively drive oversea business to overcome domestic market limitation and to become world class SI players. Even though there have been a lot of discussions on IT technologies and new business models, scientific approach to a R&D model for SI companies is rare due to its natural distinctiveness from manufacturing and general service domain. Therefore, this will be a flagship thesis to keep up our study. As business market environment gets more competitive, major Korean SI players will be confronted with much more keen competition among themselves. And as they are willing to expand their oversea market presence, they can not help struggling against global SI players. So, here we are presenting SI players the reinforcement of R&D as one of the key components to build up their own core competencies. That is, SI players have to adopt and evaluate fast changing and complicated IT technologies at the right time, and to apply them into a real business with cost-effective service delivery and operation processes internally. The ultimate purpose of all of these activities is to offer a SI company the value added business model based on its innovative technical capabilities and well refined service deliver model. For this purpose, we suggests, SI company's R&D has to play an important role of emerging technology verification/evaluation/utilization, value added business model creation, future innovation lead, standard body participation, and effective service delivery and quality system development. To become a more effective R&D organization, hybrid R&D, in which central R&D and divisional sub R&D work together, is considered as an idea model. The reliability of the R&D model for Korean SI companies', here we suggest, has been checked by SI companies R&D specialists and on-site business people.
