The growth of incidents on the Internet has reflected growth of the internet itself and growth of the computing power. while in previous years, external attacks tended to originate from those interested trend in exploring the Internet for its own sake and testing their skills, there is an increasing trend towards intrusions motivated by financial, political, and military objectives. so, attacks on the nation's computer infrastructures are becoming an increasingly serious problem. Even though the problem is ubiquitious, government agencies are particularly appealing targets and they tend to be more willing to reveal such events than commercial organizations. The threat of damage made necessity of security's recognition, as a result, many researches have been carried out into security of system actively. Intrusion Detection technology is detection of intrusion using audit data differently from using traditional simple filtering and informs manager of it. It has security manager of system deal with the intrusion more quickly. but, cause current environment of Internet manager can't doing response Intrusion alert immediately. That's why IPS needed. IPS can response automatically the intrusion alert. so, manager is more comfortable and can response quickly.

Information technology leadership roles have undergone fundamental change over the past decade. Despite increase interest in recent years, little empirical research on Information Technology has been done. This paper suggests results from a survey in Korea on Information Technology. The survey collected data on general leadership roles such as information roles, decisional role and interpersonal role, as well as on specific Information Technology leadership roles such as planning leader, R&D manager, general manager, chief operating strategist. The role of a change leader is positively influenced by the number of years, the extent of strategic responsibility and the organization's revenue while it is negatively influenced by the number of years in the current position. R&D manager can be predicted by strategic responsibility and chief executive's IT use, Manager can be predicted by the extent of strategic responsibility. Although several significant predictors of Information Technology leadership roles were identified, the more signigicant study should continue in the future.

Purpose: This study intended to investigate how health and safety organization, management, activities and safety culture of healthcare industries are different from other industries (food, lodging, gas, and electricity industries). Method: Data were analyzed using '2005 The National Survey for Occupational Safety and Health Tendency'. Results: For health and safety training, both new training and regular training time of healthcare sector was lower than comparison sectors. For health and safety manager assigning form, there were many case in healthcare sector to assign a safety manager as a deputy and a health manager as an additional job, there were some differences from comparison sectors. It was found that establishment of countermeasures by cause investigation and analysis execution for occupational accidents in the healthcare sector was lower than comparison sectors. For health and safety activities and safety culture awareness, they were estimated in healthcare sector to be lower than comparison sectors. Conclusion: Healthcare sector had relatively lower health and safety activities and safety culture awareness compared with comparison sectors. So, it is required business owner's concerns and efforts to assign exclusively responsible health and safety manager and to activate health and safety training and occupational accident prevention.

This paper proposes an efficient spatial data manager for map services in mobile environment. It is designed to provide interoperability and efficient performance at once. To provide interoperability and reusability, the spatial data manager conforms to international standards such as the OpenGIS Simple Features Implementation Specification for OLE/COM, OpenGIS Geography Markup Language (GML) Encoding Specification developed by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). The spatial data manger exploits physical main memory using Address Windowing Extensions supported by Microsoft Windows to manage spatial data for efficient performance by reducing time to read data from disk on user's request. The format of the spatial data in main memory is target data (GML) to reduce conversion time from source data to it. Progressive transmission is also provided to reduce latency time by representing only received partial data for mobile environment without waiting whole transmission.

As there has been much demands for processing multimedia data, a storage manager for multimedia data makes much effects on system performance. Because the size of multimedia data is usually very large, disk I/O for the data consumes much time and causes the system performance to be decreased. Therefore, it makes a better effect on system performance that a multimedia data storage manager decreases its disk I/O by the buffer management of multimedia data. This paper proposes a buffer management technique which allocates the buffer to be equal to its corresponding segment which consists of physically continuous disk page set and is disk management unit for multimedia data in many multimedia data storage manager. As the size of buffer varies, it also proposes a buffer replacement policy which consider not only reference behavior of buffer but also buffer size The proposed multimedia data buffer management technique is implemented in KORED/STORM which is a storage manager for multimedia data.

The significance of upgrading current certification service for customer center manager and counsellor in Korea Call Center Information Research Center-affiliated Call Center College is dramatically increasing due to steady applicants for the last few years, while there is a need to expand the numbers of applicants with a new channel. This paper has suggested the directions for developing IBT system to hold a dominant position in the certification business industry. Providing IBT channel, mainly base upon internet and utilizing various IT infra for the PCCM (Preliminary Customer Center Manager)/CCCM (Certified Customer Center Manager), will increase the convenience of taking qualification exams for customer center managers and improve competitiveness in qualification certification business industry. Specifically, this study reviews overview of industry trends of domestic and overseas, success cases of test services, service model and methods of on-line test, and short and long term analysis of the domestic and overseas markets.

Data warehouses are usually dedicated to the processing of quires issued by decision support system(DSS). The response time of DSS queries is typically several orders of magnitude higher than the one of OLTP queries. Since DSS queries are often submitted interactively, techniques for reducing their response time are important. The caching of query results is one such technique particularly well suited to the DSS environment. In this paper, we present a cache manager for such an environment. Specifically, we define a canonical form of query. The cache manager looks up a query based on the exact query match or using a suggested query split process if the query is found is non-canonical form or in canonical form, respectively. It dynamically maintains the cache content by employing a profit function which reflects in an integrated manner the query execution cost, the size of query result, the reference rate, the maintenance cost of each result due to updates of their base tables, and the frequency of such updates. We performed the experimental evaluation and it positively shows the performance benefit of our cache manager.

A measure of managerial ability was derived using DEA, a measure of management efficiency, and the correlation coefficient between discretionary accrual and non-discretionary accrual, net income and operating cash flow standard deviation was used as a proxy for income smoothing. verified. In addition, the manager's compensation was used by taking the natural logarithm of the cash compensation per manager. The analysis results are summarized as follows. The analysis period for hypothesis testing is from 2004 to 2017, as a result of the hypothesis analysis of the correlation with the level of manager's compensation, it was suggested that the income smoothing behavior decreased the performance-based compensation and increased the performance-controlled compensation. This can be said to be the result of indirectly confirming that additional compensation is differentially paid for income smoothing. This study has a contribution to the study by empirically analyzing whether income smoothing affects the relationship between managerial ability and managerial compensation. However, although a number of previous studies empirically analyzed that there are upper and lower bounds for manager compensation, there is limitations that could not be analyzed for asymmetric compensation due to income smoothing is expected to expand.

This survey is related to the status of education for environmental managers, who are taking charge of pollution control untilities, and its analyses. This survey is also discussing the improvements of educational course for the trainees, who have already been educated in environmental background as well as its problems. The 45% of in-service trainees were those who had graduated more than a junior college. But under the 50% of them were those who had school careers of less than a high a high school, which means that the trainees have trouble in acquiring the professional knowledges on environmental educations such as the lectures and the practice educations. All over the country, 46 junior colleges, and 65 universities which have a environmental education program, have produced the graduates who major in the environment. Therefore, it is demanded that they should be properly treated. In this research work, it is shown that the 76% of environmental managers have no certificate of environmental study. It is thought that this has resulted from the released environmental law; the untilities of the first and second grade need a manager with a certificate related with environment, the third grade utilities only need a manager with a non-specified certificate related with environment or a manager with more than 3 years environmental practice careers, the fourth and fifth grade utilities do not need the certificate related to environment. In view of relation between environment pollutions and the management of environmental utilities, it is thought that present environmental laws should be improved to be strict. The fact that the differences in regions or utilities are not considered in the contents of texts, has reduced the efficiency of education. Therefore, it is needed that the experts and the in-service managers should take part in the development of the text. In this survey, the more than 20% of trainees have negative opinions about the result of this education, which means that overall the environmental practice education should be reconsidered. In the educational methodology, more than 50% of trainees have the opinion that they want spot speciations, the audio-visual educations and the practice. Therefore, it is demaned that the subjects, syllabus, and the allotment of time ect, should be reorganized for the more practical education.
