  • This research studies the present status of utilization of IT in SMB, Small & Medium Business, logistics companies, and analyzes the examples of utilizing Excel VBA for building and operating IT system in SMB logistics companies. Through this study, this research suggests main issues of building and operating logistic systems and the effective way of utilizing the systems in SMB logistics companies.

수송력 향상을 위한 지능형 철도물류터미널 구축방안 (On the development of Intelligent Railway Logistics Terminal)

  • The government have plans to improve the railway transport capacity and transport hub for the sustainable national transport and logistics system. Specially, there are much efforts to improve transportation capacity such as high speed transportation of rail freight, enlargement of BT train, development of double stack train, etc. between railway transport hubs. If the transport capacity between railway logistics hubs is increased as planned, we must increase the handling capacity of railway hub terminals. But there are limits to enlarge the terminal infrastructure because of investment scale, location circumstances and urban development plans. To ensure the capacity, with the minimum required enlargement of infrastructure, it is necessary to extremely increase the efficiency of terminal operations. For improving the efficiency, we have to introduce the efficient terminal operation systems based on u-IT and operation optimize technologies. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems of railway terminals(including ICD) and suggest the concept of intelligent railway terminal and the construction components of technology.

다중 로봇 제조 물류 작업을 위한 안전성과 효율성 학습 (Safety and Efficiency Learning for Multi-Robot Manufacturing Logistics Tasks)

  • With the recent increase of multiple robots cooperating in smart manufacturing logistics environments, it has become very important how to predict the safety and efficiency of the individual tasks and dynamically assign them to the best one of available robots. In this paper, we propose a novel task policy learner based on deep relational reinforcement learning for predicting the safety and efficiency of tasks in a multi-robot manufacturing logistics environment. To reduce learning complexity, the proposed system divides the entire safety/efficiency prediction process into two distinct steps: the policy parameter estimation and the rule-based policy inference. It also makes full use of domain-specific knowledge for policy rule learning. Through experiments conducted with virtual dynamic manufacturing logistics environments using NVIDIA's Isaac simulator, we show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed system.

세계 물류산업의 효율성에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of the Efficiency of the Global Logistics Industry with Data Envelopment Analysis and a Tobit Model)

  • 세계화를 통해 글로벌 공급사슬은 더욱 복잡해지고, 고객들은 모든 물류서비스를 통합적으로 제공받을 수 있는 기업에 대한 의존도가 높아짐에 따라 고객들은 물류 기업에 대해서 가격뿐만 아니라 운영적인 측면에서 높은 효율성을 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자료포락분석(Data Envelopment Analysis)을 중심으로 전세계 물류산업의 효율성의 추이와 비효율성에 영향을 미치는 요소들에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면, 5개년간 세계의 물류산업의 효율성은 높아지는 추세를 보이고 있었으며, 비효율성은 규모에 의한 비효율성보다는 순수기술효율성에 의해 나타난 비효율성에 의해서 나타나고 있었다. 비효율성에 영향을 미치는 외부적인 요소를 살펴보면, 우선 세계화는 비효율성에 영향을 주고 있다. 세계화의 요소 중에서는 경제적인 요소보다는 전반적인 세계화 정도가 더 영향을 미쳤으며, 인프라와 관련되어서는 인력, 금융적 지원, 기반 등 소프트웨어적 측면의 영향력이 더 유의했으며 법제도적인 측면에서는 집행의 투명성, 법제도의 효과가 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것을 밝혀냈다.

제3자물류의 실태분석 및 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the current status and ways of activating 3PL)

  • Despite the importance and necessity, the 3PL has not been activated to date. Among many views, customers claim that logistics service provider(LSP) are not prepared or capable of offering satisfactory 3PL services, while LSP emphasize the lack of mutual trust, closed corporate culture of the customer and excessive demand for reducing the costs. With this keeping in mind, it surveyed difference of perception between users and providers of 3PL services in terms of the actual status of using 3PL services, the degree of satisfaction and key factors for selecting 3PL provider through the questionnaire. As shown in this study, 43.3% of the respondents outsourced logistics services. However, Most company outsourced only inland transportation (49.5%) which is a simple and limited scope of 3PL services, but it also indicated that the percentage of users have ranged was less then 10% in outsourcing their whole logistics sector to 3PL provider and employing other logistics functions. Among respondents, a majority of the service provider stated that they offered satisfactory cost-saving to the customers, while users felt that the degree of satisfaction for using 3PL services was evaluated as at an average level and they more highly regarded the strong partnership of their 3PL provider rather than the saving of cost and improvement of customer's services. Moreover, in contrast to the 3PL providers which regard the most important factor for selecting 3PL service provider is the logistics cost quoted, users of 3PL services felt that the quality of services was more significant than the reduction of cost, and this tendency for selecting 3PL providers was shown in more advanced countries. While users of 3PL services indicated that the main reason for not using 3PL services was to avoid disclosing information of their business and it costs much for employing 3PL providers than doing themselves, 3PL providers thought it was due to reluctancy of opening information and resistance from the logistics division engaged in logistics activities concerned. Accordingly, providers and users of 3PL services should trust each other and prepare plan to activate 3PL services under the collaborative relationships as soon as possible.

4차산업혁명기술 기반 스마트 탄약물류체계 구축 방안 연구 (Building plan research of Smart Ammunition Logistics System based on the 4th industrial technology)

  • 본 논문은 국방군수분야에서 가장 중요한 기능을 수행하는 핵심체계인 탄약물류를 4차산업혁명 기술을 활용하여 예측이 가능한 스마트탄약물류시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제시하였다. 국내외 물류정책 및 기술동향, 탄약물류 특성과 국토교통부의 스마트물류센터 인증기준을 고려해 분석한 결과, 군의 탄약물류수준은 매우 낮은 수준으로 시급한 개선이 필요하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해 탄약물류분야에 적용할 수 있는 유무선 기반 현장 자동화, 스마트 탄약고 구축, 육해공군 물류 혁신 등 각종 구축 사례를 분석한 후 도출된 시사점을 기반으로 탄약물류의 발전방향을 제시하였다. 구체적인 발전내용으로 전장 환경 변화에 부합하면서 총수명주기관점의 혁신과 효율성 달성이 가능한 데이터 기반 스마트 탄약물류관리체계를 구현하기 위해 현장업무 자동화 및 첨단화, 3D 기반 저장공간 관리 및 전시 불출 개선, 예측 중심의 탄약물류를 위한 Data 관리체계 등 4가지 목표를 제시했다. 제시된 내용을 기반으로 기대효과로는 작전지속능력 향상, 탄약신뢰성 보장, 많은 예산 절감, 지체와 대기, 이중 작업 등 비효율 대폭 개선, 안전사고 감소 등이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 최근 경제의 불확실성이 커지면서 매출 확대를 기대하기 힘든 상황에서 운영비용을 줄이기는 쉽지 않은 상황이다. 저비용으로 서비스 수준을 올려 시장에서의 경쟁우의를 지켜야 하는 물류센터 입장에서는 저렴한 비용으로 서비스 수준을 획기적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 KPI (Key Performance Indicator) 분석을 통해 물류운영시스템 전체 프로세스를 대상으로 효율적인 물류 운영을 하고 있는지를 판단하고, 성과지표를 중심으로 고객만족도를 높일 수 있도록 각 항목을 설정하여 측정하고 개선해야 함을 시사하고 있다.

  • The change of the development of transport and logistics systems occurs with the active change of technology and the advent of the era of Industry 4.0. It requires modernization of approaches to the development of transport and logistics systems at the macro and micro levels. The present study aims to identify perspective directions of development and evolution, find out the existing obstacles in the integration of technological solutions of transport and logistics systems at the macro and micro levels. This study is based on a quantitative and qualitative methodology for assessing the level of integration of technologies into transport and logistics systems to study the prospects for their development at the micro level. Macroeconomic indicators of transport and logistics in the context of different regions of the world were used to quantify the development prospects. For a qualitative assessment of the development of the transport and logistics system, the case study method was used. The object of the study was selected logistics company Sensco Logistics Inc., Austin TX. At the macro level, countries with more innovative logistics sectors have stronger mechanisms for coordinating private sector activities. Simplification of administrative procedures of control and regulation by the public sector in order to facilitate trade between countries is a promising direction for the development of transport and logistics systems. Such reforms are more effective in developing a "rigid" transport infrastructure. The integration of Industry 4.0 technology solutions into the international logistics sector is defined by political and legal barriers, especially in developing countries. In low-income countries, hard and soft infrastructure reforms are hindering the development of logistics companies that provide transport services. This determines the national level of development of transport and logistics systems, and in general the global level of development of transport and logistics. In developed countries, the legal barriers to the development of new technological logistics are environmental requirements for the integration of technologies into the transport system. These trends are slowing down the development of International Logistics, which, compared to other industries, is slower to integrate Industry 4.0 technologies. This study combines macroeconomic factors that determine the prospects for the development of transport and logistics systems at the micro level.

  • These days, international air-logistics demand is getting bigger and bigger by increasing in trading volumes of export and import of Asia. It makes the air logistics of stakeholder to invest in air logistics facilities and information systems for meeting the growth of air transportation. However there are some problems that the efficiency of investment is not good by duplicately investing in information systems and moreover not compatible with each other because the stakeholder is investing in individual information system and air logistics facilities instead of constructing the integrated infrastructure. In this paper, we investigated the export, import, and transshipment process of air logistics to simplify air logistics process through the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) application and the 4PL system.

  • Recently, the role of container ports is radically changing, These changes are largely driven by the innovation process of Logistics such as Supply Chain Logistics and Global Logistics due to the international expansional of industry. Under this environment, It is required that the container port should act as a integral part of a Supply Logistics Chain especially to provide the customer-oriented logistics service. This paper deals with the development strategy of container ports coping with these changes in the view point of container ports as a Logistics infrastructure to provide customer-response services and necessary to the economic promotion of hinterlands. Strategy is suggested in the phases of the customers desire, the pattern of container cargo, the economic promotion of hinterlands, and interrelation of container ports in north-east Asia and also domestics through the analysis of competiveness of container ports.
