It is our imminent project that we should train young and able manpower to strengthen the international competitiveness under the free trade of agricultural products, to solve the problem of decrease in farm population and of aging people in agriculture. The objective of this research is to suggest an alternative policy plan through the survey and analysis on the controversial issues in loans for starting agricultural business based on the survey of graduates of Korea National Agricultural College from 2002 to 2005. According to the survey, in case of graduates who are not available sufficient fanning capital such as land and agricultural facilities on it, they are not able to get loans from banks in that situation. The survey, as a result, points out that those who are legally required to do farming should be given several special aids by the government such as the improvement of Credit Guarantee Fund System for Farmers and Fishermen and the farming loans conditions for initial farm business, a long term lease of public land, giving a priority in lease-farmland project of farmland bank and allowing loan for working capital for farm management.
Educational goals of SPH were two-fold : One was to train a health professions who should take charge of a leading roles, another were to educate the researchers of public health. There were strong demands to evaluate whether these goals had been effectively achieved through the master's course of SPH or not. According to the educational goals of SPH, public health is an applied science to be applicable to health-related fields. The curriculum of SPH has to be built under this principle and be evaluated by someone regularly. Who evaluates that? The most pertinent appraiser is the graduates of public health currently working at health-related jobs. It was the purpose of the study to let the graduates evaluate their education and the curriculum that they had undertaken during master's course at SNU. If the results of the evaluation by the graduates were not satisfactory, we should find the actual causes of low scored apraisal and reform the curriculum of SPH as the process of problem solving. During September and October 1996, a postal survey was undertaken of the 293 SNU graduates of public health who had been engaged in the health related jobs. As 198 graduates answered out of 293, the response rate was 67.6%. The questionnaire was designed to ascertain how well the SNU master's course of public health had helped their practice. The SAS package was used for statistical analysis and $x^2$-test as a test of statistical significance. Major findings of the study were summarized as follows: $\cdot$ The health related abilities consisted of three categories, which were health administration abilities composed of 14 items, health education abilities composed of 5 items, health research abilities composed of 10 items. $\cdot$ The respondents had acquired 'Worldwide trends of health policy', 'evaluation concepts of health projects', 'interpersonal relationships in professional life', and 'communication through writings' moe than other detailed items in the category of health administration abilities. $\cdot$ 'Establishment of educational and learning golas' was the most acquired item of 5 detailed items of health education abilities. $\cdot$ Respondents indicated that they had acquired ability 'to search reference', ' to understand health problems', 'to establish study plannings', and 'to collect health related data' more than other detailed items in the category of health research abilities.

Purpose: The study aimed to examine doctoral students' degree acquisition paths and postgraduate research achievements and explore whether there are differences in the research achievements of doctoral degree holders in relation to the dissertation format. Methods: This study is a retrospective cohort study of nursing doctoral graduates whose degree conferral dates were between August 2013 and August 2023 that compared two dissertation tracks: traditional and publication. We evaluated the proportion of graduates in each track, publication of their dissertations, time to graduation, and the number of peer-reviewed journal publications after graduation. Results: Of the sample, 160 (87.4%) graduated in the traditional track, with only 56 (35.0%) of them publishing their dissertations after graduation. Excluding dissertations, 114 of the graduates (71.3%) published first-authored articles in the traditional track, while 12 (52.2%) did so in the publication track. The time to graduation was significantly shorter in the traditional track, with an average of 5.47±2.45 years, compared to 6.61±2.57 years in the publication track (z=2.26, p=.023). In the traditional track, 64 of graduates (40.0%) majored in adult health nursing, whereas in the publication track, 8 (34.8%) studied community health nursing. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the significance of the publication track for nursing doctoral dissertations in terms of research dissemination. Despite its numerous advantages, it is not yet the preferred choice for both students and faculty. Maintaining the publication track as an additional graduation option is worthwhile, as it allows students to gain research publishing experience before graduation and to effectively disseminate scientific findings in nursing.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the expected earnings differentials by major of university graduates. Usually the achievement in labor market has been measured by the earnings of those being with job. But such simple comparisons of earnings might fail to bring out correct evaluation once if the probabilities of getting a job are quite different across the major of university graduates. So it is necessary to compare the expected lifetime eatings which can be computed using the earnings of those with job and the probabilities of taking a job. In this paper, we showed that the expected earings of university graduates are quite different by major and not only the difference of earnings but also the difference of job-taking probabilities are considerably contributing such differentials. Especially the expected earnings of medicine and education are considerably higher than those of other majors. These results are maintained almost identically with the change of estimation methods. But despite of these findings. it should be admitted that it was not possible to exactly measure the magnitude of differentials by major.
Recently, youth unemployment, especially the unemployment problem of university graduates, has emerged as a social problem. Unemployment of university graduates is both a pan-national issue and a university-level issue, and each university is making many efforts to increase the employment rate of graduates. In this study, we present a model that predicts employment availability of D-university graduates by utilizing Machine Learning. The variables used were analyzed using up to 138 personal information, admission information, bachelor's information, etc., but in order to reflect them in the future curriculum, only the data after admission works effectively, so by department / student. The proposal was limited to the recommended ability to improve the separate employment rate. In other words, since admission grades are indicators that cannot be improved due to individual efforts after enrollment, they were used to improve the degree of prediction of employment rate. In this research, we implemented a employment prediction model through analysis of the core ability of D-University, which reflects the university's philosophy, goals, human resources awards, etc., and machined the impact of the introduction of a new core ability prediction model on actual employment. Use learning to evaluate. Carried out. It is significant to establish a basis for improving the employment rate by applying the results of future research to the establishment of curriculums by department and guidance for student careers.

Purpose: This study was done to develop strategies for better education and career adaptation of nursing students by investigating the recognition and intentions of nursing students and graduates on the nursing and a future career. Method: Data was collected from a survey conducted between the 1st of October and 5th of December, 2007. Participants were 113 students and 37 graduates of one nursing college. Result: The majority of participants thought that atmosphere and relationships were important criteria to choose a job. Most of them selected nursing major not because their aptitude but because of its professionalism and job stability. Most wanted to go to graduate school and were interested in a nurse specialist program, especially for critical and emergency care. The preferred nursing role changed from recovery care to health promotion as they advanced in their studies. They thought work overload and fatigue from three shift as barriers for a longer stay as a clinical nurse. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in a way that it suggests some strategies for promoting nursing professionalism and adaptation to working field. In order to generalize the results of this study, replicate studies need to be conducted with nation-wide samples.
In this paper it is investigated how the number of work experiences is distributed among college graduates who have ever entered the labor market and built up career by turnover. To do so, we classified the type of work experience and, moreover, conduct ANOVA to explore wage differentials caused by the number of work experience and by the type of work experience, using the GOMS(graduates occupational mobility survey) from 2006 to 2007.

Main findings of this study are as follows. Time-space model of Korea for urban growth model is established. The variables of space model resulted in job and education, which both are significant at 0.01 level and positive. The effect of job and education on the urban growth are 0.76 and 0.29 respectively in average. the determinants for deciding the influences for job variable are income variable and price-level variable. Income variable contributes 68.66% and the direction is negative while contribution of price-level variable is 29.90% and the direction is positive. The determinants for education variable are income, unemployment and wage difference between university graduates and high school graduates. The contribution and the high school graduates. The contribution and the direction of each variable for education variable are 63.6% and positive for the unemployment variable, 15.99% and negative for the income variable and 13.75% and positive for the wage difference variable. This study in different from previous works in three ways. The first is to establish the time-space model which could consider the time and space factor simultaneously. The second is to build data bases which contain the data of almost every city and every year in Korea during the objective period, which make the analysis continuous. The third is that the general analytic framework for the study is macrosocial one rather than a behavioral one, which means the unit of analysis is the metropolitan community and each city occupies population actively through it's potential power such as jobs, education and so on rather than a city population is the passive result of migration.
Yonsei University College of Medicine is about to adopt a new admission system in 2009 for postgraduate medical school. in which 4-year college graduates apply to it, instead of applying of high school graduates to undergraduate medical school. For preparing the new system, now, an admission policy is being intensively investigated. In the present admission system in Yonsei College of Medicine, college or university graduates with diverse majors such as pharmacy, biochemistry, engineering, social science and so on other than a medical major can be transferred into the undergraduate medical course when vacancy for enrollment is available. This study was performed to analyze the academic achievement of the transferred students for establishing a new admission system. In this study, the GPAs of 94 medical students transferred for 1998 to 2006 years were analyzed regarding academic and personal background, and compared with those of untrans- ferred medical students. The results showed some features. Particularly, the GPAs of transferred students with t he majors of art and social sciences were not lower than those with the major of natural sciences while transferred students with majors of pharmacy. veterinary science, nursing science, and biotechnology had their high academic achievements during the undergraduate medical courses.
Objectives: This study compared the number of graduates in each region for the past 6 years and the number of dental hygienists working in dental clinics by region to evaluate the trend of dental hygienists moving to work areas after graduation. Methods: Health care big data open system_medical manpower statistics, resident population and household status data by year, and education statistics service were used to calculate the number of dentists and dental hygienists, admission status by region, number of dental hygienists per 100,000 population, number of dental hygienists per number of dentists, and distribution of dental hygienists by region. Results: Although the number of active dental hygienists increased in the metropolitan area, the ratio of dental hygienists to dentists did not improve significantly. In addition, the number of students enrolled in provincial universities decreased, and there were fewer active dental hygienists than graduates in provincial areas. Conclusions: Although the number of active dental hygienists increased due to increase in the number of dental hygiene departments, it was found that rural areas did not have a significant impact on the availability of dental hygienists as the graduates moved to the metropolitan area.
