This Research aims to analyze the effects of SCM management capabilities and IT capabilities on firm performance. The strategic performance was shown to be positively and significantly affected by flexibility and responsiveness which were proxies for SCM management capabilities. However, neither main effect of IT capability nor interaction effects of IT capability and SCM management capability on firm performance was found.

DoD makes efforts to develop Capability-Based Force Structure through NCW and requirements. MND makes efforts to develop capability based force development and management for dynamic security environment and wartime command and control, however it seems to be very difficult to develop Capability-Based Force Structure without the concept and development method of integrated capability. The purpose of this paper is to make "An Integrated Capability Framework of Capability Based Force Structure" which presents integral capability of Enterprise. This framework contains the concept of force operation and force development view based on defense force life cycle.

Purpose: The aim of this research is to study 1) the effects of internal factors (technological capability and entrepreneurial orientation) that affect Thailand's hotel business network capability. 2) the effects of external factors (government policy and trust relationship) that affect Thailand's hotel business network capability. 3) the impact of network capability on the firm performance. 4) the moderating effect of absorptive capacity between network capability and firm performance. Research design, data and methodology: The test model collected data from a mail survey of 164 hotel businesses in Thailand. The correlation and multiple regression were adopted to analyze and test the proposed hypotheses. Results: Interestingly, technological capability, entrepreneurship orientation, and trust relationship have a direct impact on network capability. However, network capability still does not have a significant relationship with firm performance in all dimensions. Surprisingly, the absorptive capacity does not have a moderating effect on the relationship of network capability on firm performance of hotel businesses in Thailand. Conclusions: This research found that the hotel business should focus on analyzing the external and internal environment as it affects network building, which will guide the creation of strategies for further increasing hotel distribution channels and competitive advantage.

While many previous studies have emphasized that technological and learning capabilities have an important impact on internationalization, however, there have been few attempts to directly identify the mediating role of innovative performance in the relationship between them. Therefore, we tested the relationships among two organizational capabilities such as technological capability and learning capability, innovative performance and internationalization. Specifically, we explored the impact of two organizational capabilities on innovative performance and the mediating role of innovative performance on internationalization. We tested hypotheses based on 206 survey data of Gwangju and Jeonnam provinces' small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The empirical results showed that both technological capability and learning capability had a significantly positive (+) effect on SMEs' innovation performance, and both technological capability and learning capability had a significantly positive (+) effect on internationalization performance. In addition, it was confirmed that the innovation performance is not only related to the relationship between technological capability and internationalization performance but also acts as a partial mediation role in the relationship between the learning capability and internationalization performance. Based on the results of this study, theoretical and practical implications were provided, and the limitations of this study and future research directions were also discussed.

Supply Capability of the generator, if the maximum demand occurs, refers to the maximum power that can be stably supplied and it is possible to maintain stable power supply to be greater than actual load. However, unexpected power demand and reduction in supply Capability due to stop of unexpected generator in operation can temporarily make a big chaos in power system. In fact, due to a lack of power supply Capability in the country, enforced emergency load adjustment to the September 15, 2011, the circulation power outage has occurred in several cities. As the result, interrupted operation of the elevator and stopped hospital medical equipment led to a great deal of trouble to people's lives, causing a social problem. At that time, it was found that a failed frequency control because of smaller actual supply Capability than that of predicted. The difference was about 1,170 MW with Gas turbine power plant. By accurately calculating the generator supply capability, we can not only grasp the power reserve rate, but also correspond to the time of power supply instability.

This study aims to empirically investigate the influence of organizational capability and organizational learning on the financial performance of family-business type small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition, this study examines the moderating role of SMEs' ages and the managers' experiences in the relationship between organizational capability and organizational learning on the SMEs financial performance. This study is a basic exploratory research conducted by using an empirical survey, i.e., sampling of the businessman (the owner) of family-business type SMEs cross-functional in the area of DIY. The study uses purposive sampling. The respondents are the SME businessmen from the various business sectors in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The number of respondents is 150. Hypothesis testing used SPSS program's moderation regression approach; validity and reliability testing used confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha. The result of this study shows that organizational capability positively and significantly affects the financial performance. Also, organizational learning significantly affects the financial performance. The organization's age factor does not moderate the relationship between organizational capability and the financial performance, but it is significant on the organizational learning. The factor of manager's experience moderates insignificantly on the relationship between organizational capability and financial performance. However, it is significant to the organizational learning.

The power transfer capability is determined by the thermal, dynamic stability and voltage limits of the generation and transmission systems. The voltage stability depends on the reactive power limit and it affects the power transfer capability to a great extent. Then, in most load flow analysis, the reactive power limit is assumed as fixed, relatively different from the actual case. This paper proposes a method for determining the power transfer capability from a static voltage stability point of view using the IPLAN which is a high level language used with PSS/E program. The f-V curve for determining the power transfer capability is determined using Repeated Power Flow method. It Is assumed that the loads are constant and the generation powers change according to the merit order. The maximum reactive power limits are considered as varying similarly with the actual case and the effects of the varied maximum reactive power limits to the maximum power transfer capability are analyzed using a 5-bus power system and a 19-bus practical power system.

The defense system development process is a process of developing various systems that perform functions in various functional areas such as battlefield awareness, command control, force application, and logistical support. In other words, the defense system development process is a process of developing many systems simultaneously in various functional areas. Various systems developed through this process should be interoperable so that they can be integrated and operated in a joint warfighting environment. To successfully implement this, the US Department of Defense uses the Joint Capability Integrated Development System(JCIDS) for the defense system development, and within this JCIDS processes the Capability Based Assessment(CBA) methodology as its core technology. This CBA methodology transforms the mission activity requirements to functional capability requirements logically and transforms the functional capability requirements to system requirements logically also. Smart City is a city that improves the convenience and quality of life of the citizen by integrates various systems that perform various functions of the city and smarties various functional systems with smart services by using IT technology. In other words, defense system development and smart city development have a common feature of the process of developing many systems simultaneously in various functional areas. In order to address the problem of having to develop many systems simultaneously in each functional area, it is important to logically transform the various mission scenarios into functions and logically transform the functions into systems. Therefore, a joint capability integrated development system and its core methodology, Capability Based Assessment(CBA), can be applied to smart city development. This paper proposes a method for performing a smart city concept design method using the capability based evaluation (CBA) method.

Recently, as organizational systems have become larger and more complicated, the evaluation for their efficiency and effectiveness has become more difficult but important. It is essential to understand the current strength and weakness of the organizational process. It can be a starting point for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the organizational systems, because the quality of system outputs depend greatly on the capability of system process. Particularly in such process-based industries as semiconductor, energy or software industries, an assessment of process capability is more highlighted to gain knowledge of the expected quality and reliability of system outputs. As a result, much attention has been given to the issues of process capability assessment in the process-based industries. However, most of the previous research in those industries is based on case studies, a more generalized method for process capability assessment is in need for help more companies improve their processes. Therefore, this study aims to propose a process capability assessment method and apply the proposed method to an energy company. This research argues that the process capability is composed of individual and organizational capabilities of the process. Then, the concept of Capability Maturity Model Integration, which was initially suggested to evaluate the software development process, was introduced to develop the assessment tools and process. Finally, the proposed method was applied to a Korean company in the energy industry sector to verify its utility. The research outputs are expected to help more firms assess their process capability and ultimately improve the process.

An IT system within a company play increasingly important role as a significant part of corporate assets. The IT system possesses an extraordinary ability to improve an organization's efficiency, effectiveness and productivity by providing competitive advantages and improving strategic business decision capabilities. Indeed, providing a more secure IT environment, improving employee productivity and enhancing business process and strategic decision capabilities are key areas to improve corporate performance. However, existing research on IT ROI of return on IT investments does not provide solid justification to stakeholders. In this paper, we analyze the IT investment during the past 28 years from 1982 to 2009 and present the results in two dimensions. First, we show the IT solution implementation analysis by years and industries based on 1,240 IT success cases from 8 different sources such as major Korea IT newspaper, IT magazines, and IT vendors. Then, the paper presents the relationship between IT capability through IT success cases and corporate business performance among 32 industries.
