Recently, many universities over the world are struggling to have the competitive edge. Some of them are implementing ISO management system for efficient administration processes and the safe and clean environment. For many years, ISO 9000 quality management systems have been adopted in the universities, while only a few universities are implementing ISO 14000 environmental management system in their educational systems. In this study, we proposed how to implement ISO 14001 1996(I) environmental management system in university and showed the case study of D College's ISO 14001 environmental management system.

Today, as a globalization continues and international trading blocks are formed, world markets are intensely competitive and abound in product variety, volume, complexity and environment. An environmental management system comprises the environmental elements of the overall management system. The basic input to a management system is information from stake holders, the operational system and the environment, the outputs are decisions and informations. Specifically, green comsumer's needs and expectations are changing and diversifying, resulting in a changed global environment for industry. Due to these changes, many companies are striving to achieve the ISO 14000 environmental management system certification. In this paper, I will present the strategy of environmental management, system strategy and continue to build a unique environmental management system by analyzing companies that will be achieved the ISO 14000 certification. After companies establish an ISO 9000 quality system these companies should focus on improve toward their own quality systems and continue to build ISO 14000.

In this research, we investigate the countermeasure of Product Liability through existing research or books for reference about PL and ISO 9001 : 2000 quality management system. And we analyze relation between PL system and ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Management System after compare ISO 9001 : 2000 and ISO 9000 : 1994. base on this analysis, we integrate the Quality Management System of company and an important factor of PL system in accordance with the product liability law. So we present a general improvable scheme of ISO 9001 quality management system that reduces overlap of quality business and utilize efficiently.

본 고는 통신 시스템에서 연구개발 결과의 품질 향상을 위한 검토 방법에 대한 표준화를 분석하였다. 본 고에서는 검토 방법론을 정립하기 위하여, 검토의 정의, 분류, 소요비용에 대한 설명을 하고, 검토에 대한 사례로서 ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 12207, ITU-T Z.400 표준화 등에 정의된 방법들을 분석하였다. 검토 방법에 대한 표준화는 산출 문서의 형식적인 검토, 단계별 검토사항, 관리적 검토와 기술적인 검토 등으로 구분하였으며, 단계별 검토에서는 설계에 대한 검토 사항, 시험에서의 검토 사항 등을 상세히 기술하고 있다.

Because of the number and complicate relationship, it is difficult to improve the processes and activities in a company. The continuous improvement for ISO 9001, we introduced IDEF Model for re-engineering the ISO9000 Process. A valve maker was selected as a sample company, and we confirmed that several processes can be reduced and several processes can newly be added for effective and more practical operation of a company.

Many 6-sigma innovation companies are obtaining ISO9000 series or ISO/TS16949 certifications. However, not many of them have considered the integrated management of ISO/TS16949 at the time of 6-sigma introduction. ISO/TS16949 focuses on the process of an overall company. In particular, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) requires that from the beginning all the planning should have a clear quality planning business process. Each company can decide the best course of action to suit its individual needs. Lean DFSS in 6-sigma offers the concrete development steps of the product development process. And if analyses of Input, Output, Target, Process, KSF, KPI, and FMEA is done in each process and clearly defined in APQP, mutual organic and effective systems can be initially achieved.

영국은 세계에서 처음으로 1901년에 국가 표준체계를 구성하였다. 대개 선진국의 표준관련 기구가 1906년에서 1926년에 발족한 사례를 보더라도 영국은 표준분야의 선구자였다. 최근에 세계 각국이 따르고 있는 ISO 9000 시리즈의 품질 관리 표준이 대부분 BS 5750에 준하여 생성되는 등 국제 표준에도 상당한 영향력을 발휘하고 있다.

지난 해부터 현안으로 대두되었던 PL법이 가까스로 통과되어 '95년부터 점진적으로 시행되게 되었다. 또한, 품질관리시스템도 종래의 생산자중심적인 TQC에서 소비자등의 사용자 중심적인 ISO 9000시리즈형(TQM)으로 이행되고 있다. PL법과 TQM은 모두 소비자를 보호하여야 한다는 사회적 흐름을 배경으로 한 것이므로 앞으로 식품업계에서 품질유지라는 개념의 중요성이 더욱 증대될 것으로 생각된다.
