메시지 복잡도를 중심으로한 UGV 통신효과 분석 (Analysis of UGV Communication Effectiveness focused on Message Complexity)

  • Purpose: In the near future, it is expected that UGV(unmanned ground vehicle) will be put into battle due to IT technology and unmanned technology development. In this study, we analyze the combat effectiveness considering communication effect where complex combat information and commands are transmitted. Methods: We use ABM(agent-based modeling) and wireless channel module which provides sophisticated communication effect through geographic information and UGV performance. And UGV combat simulation using wireless channel module is used to grasp the combat effectiveness according to the number of packets, which is a unit for storing all information and commands having high complexity. Results: The result of this study is to derive the optimal number of packets which does not decrease the combat effectiveness and the number of lost tanks. The number of packet increases, the survival ratio of our tanks are decreased. Conclusion: In this study, we reveal that the communication success or failure could affect the combat effectiveness. Also, it helps develope the standard communication protocol between UGVs and could be applied to analyze the cost effectiveness analysis in UGV combat environment.

Schutzer의 C2 효과측정 모델을 이용한 지휘통제체계 강화와 전투효과의 함수적 상관관계 (The Functional Relationship of C2 System Enhancement and Combat Effectiveness Using Schutzer's C2 Theory and Measures of Effectiveness)

  • The enhancement of C2(Command and Control) system will increase effectiveness of individual force power in combat engagement. Especially, available time of a given engaging force and information accuracy are the most influencing factors to increment of combat effectiveness after enhancement of C2 system. In this paper, by using Schutzer's C2 Theory and Measures of Effectiveness, we developed several analytical functions representing the relationships between C2 system enhancement and two most critical variables, available time and information accuracy. As a result of functional analysis, we showed C2 system enhancement and combat effectiveness have positive and non-linear relationship. The higher level of C2 system be required, the better combat effectiveness of force power can be obtained. Additionally, we proposed a proposition that the combat effectiveness of C2 system is more sensitive to available time than to information accuracy, which might be very important issue for further research in this field.

울산 연안의 전복 방류사업에 대한 경제적 효과분석 (An Analysis on the Economic Effectiveness of Abalone, haliotis discus hanai Releasing Project in the coastal area near Ulsan city)

  • The present study is aimed at evaluating the economic effectiveness of Abalone, haliotis discus hanai Releasing Project(ARP) conducted in the fishing ground owned by a fishing village in Ulsan, Korea. The results were summarized as follows: First, an average ratio of released abalones in the total landing after releasing is shown to be 85.0%. Second, the recapture rate of released abalones is 46.8%, exceeding the recapture rate of BEP(Break-Even-Point), 22.9%. Third, it is evaluated that total economic effectiveness of the ARP is 6.7-6.8 times, net effectiveness is 2.2-2.3 times, and the NPV(Net Present Value) discounted by a 8% interest rate is 474, 635 thousand wons, indicating the project is profitable. Considerable parts of the positive results on the ARP are based on some beneficial conditions, including the selection of favorable releasing sites, best self-regulation system of a fishing village for preservation of seaweed facilities and continued activities for protecting small abalones and their rearing. These results imply that the success of the ARP would be primarily dependent upon the selection of releasing site and effective management system after releasing.

방진구에 의한 표면파 산란해석 (A Study on Screening of Surface Waves by Trenches)

  • In this study numerical and experimental studies are conducted to examine the wave screening effectiveness of trenches. The numerical study is based on a finite element model of a "sandbox" with Lysmer-Kuhlemeyer-type absorbing boundaries. Using the model, the screening effectiveness of trench is studied for different trench dimensions and distance from source and receiver to trench. The results of the numerical modeling are compared with the results of the ultrasonic experiment which is performed on a acrylic block with a drilled rectangular cut. These results show that the screening effectiveness of the trench is nearly equal if the depth of trench is lager than 60 % of the surface wave length. If is also shown that if the distance between the trench and the source is lager than twice the surface wave length, the thickness of the trench does not affect the screening effectiveness.

무한 도체평판 개구에 입사하는 HEMP 파형에 따른 침투 전자파의 차폐효과 (Shielding effectiveness of an Aperture in Infinite Conducting plane Due to HEMP Incidence)

  • 본 논문에서는 IEC 61000-2-9의 HEMP 파형이 무한 도체평판의 개구에 입사할 때, 개구로 침투하는 침투 전자파의 전계 차폐효과를 검토하기 위해 개구면 전계분포에 관한 적분 방정식을 유도하고, 그 해를 모멘트 법으로 구하여 전계 차폐효과를 계산하였다. 도체평판 개구의 길이와 폭의 변화에 따른 차폐효과를 검토한 결과, 개구의 폭이 0.4 ~ 0.45${\lambda}$ 부근에서 전계 차폐효과가 급격히 나빠짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 IEC 61000-2-9와 Bell Labs의 HEMP 입사 파형에 대한 침투 전자파의 크기는 서로 다르지만 전계 차폐효과의 주파수 특성은 양자가 같아짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Ergonomic techniques have been required to analyze the effectiveness of functional clothing design improvement in a systematic and analytic manner. The goals of the present study are to: (1) comprehensively and analytically examine the effectiveness of clothing improvement by using the relationship analysis between clothing design components (D) and ergonomic evaluation measures (E) and (2) prove the usefulness of cost-effectiveness analysis for clothing design optimization. The cost effectiveness analysis is comprised of the preliminary evaluation based on expertise and the in-depth evaluation where the D-E relationship analysis is applied. As a result of the cost effectiveness analysis applied to flame-proof clothing, an optimal design was identified by analyzing costs and qualitative/quantitative effects. In the preliminary evaluation, the expected effectiveness of each design alternative on wear efficiency and wear comfort was estimated. In the in-depth evaluation, however, the effectiveness of each design alternative was analyzed by quantitative evaluation in a wearing test using a questionnaire prepared based on the D-E relationship analysis. It was concluded that the D-E relationship analysis and the cost-effectiveness analysis are useful for comprehensive evaluation and optimization of functional clothing design.

  • There is no absolute leadership through East and West. Just as past and present conditions are not the same, it is not easy for past leadership to apply to the present. The best leadership will be the leadership that can represent and lead the changing situation. In that sense, the creative leadership is the most appropriate leadership required by the present age. In the society, research on creative leadership is actively conducted in schools and companies, but there is no research on creative leadership in the military. This is the first study in the military about creative leadership. It is meaningful to understand the understanding of creative leadership and the applicability of the military and to provide a basis for future research. First, we measured the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership and organizational goals and achievement were measured, and it was found that there was significant influence on the relationship between creative leadership and organizational effectiveness. I could confirm some. This would be meaningful in that it suggested the possibility of applying the leadership of the creative leadership to lead the change of society and to implement the military command.

비등온 급기조건에서 환기방식에 따른 환기효율 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ventilation Effectiveness in the Non-isothermal Supply using Mixing and Displacement Ventilation Systems)

  • The objective of this research is to analyze the ventilation effectiveness in the non-isothermal air supply using mixing and displacement ventilation systems for indoor air quality control and management. In this study, a ventilation effectiveness is evaluated in a simplified model chamber using a tracer gas technique of $CO^2$ gas injected into a supply duct as a function of ventilation rates, supply/extract sites and cooling/heating air supply. The ventilation effectiveness decreased with increasing ventilation rate on the cooling and heating conditions. And the ventilation effectiveness of case 3 (down supply and upper extract) was better thant that of case 1(upper supply and upper extract) and case 2(upper supply and down extract) with the cooling supply conditions. but for the heating supply air conditions, the ventilation effectiveness of case 2 was better than that of case 3 and case 1.

대학도서관의 조직유효성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Organizational Effectiveness of University Libraries)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 대학도서관 조직유효성을 구성개념으로 인식하여 다차원적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 연구자료의 수집은 사서 수와 장서 수에 따라 37개 대학도서관을 선정하여 도서관장을 제외한 295명의 주임급 이상의 관리집단에게 설문지를 배포하였으며, 회수되어 결과 분석에 이용한 설문지 수는 229부(회수율 $78.6\%$)였다. 분석방법은 요인분석, 군집분석, 일원분산분석, 1-검증 등의 통계방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 대학도서관 조직유효성에 관한 문항들을 요인분석 한 결과 우리나라 대학도서관 조직유효성은 IS개 차원으로 구성된다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 대학도서관 조직유효성 차원을 기준으로 높은 유효성을 보이는 도서관과 낮은 유효성을 보이는 도서관들이 구분되었다. 셋째, 대학도서관의 배경적 특성에 따라 조직유효성의 차이를 분석한 결과 봉사대상자 수, 전임직원 수, 대학의 설립주체, 소속 부서, 직위에 따른 조직유효성에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 장서 수와 자료구입 비는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.

병원종사자들의 조직유효성 (Organizational Effectiveness of Hospital Workers)

  • It is necessary to access managing human resources of hospitals with diversity in order to operate hospital organization successfully and efficiently. The research tries to analyze affecting factors of organizational effectiveness of hospital workers according to their positions. The research has been performed on the 836 hospital workers of 8 different positions in the Busan & Gyeong-nam area, utilizing SPSS version 19.0 for processing and analyzing the data. The major results of the research are as following. First, among such factors of organizational effectiveness as sense of belonging to work, pride, work settlement, wage satisfaction, job satisfaction, colleague perception, and unstable consciousness of their job, there is a meaningful difference according to the kinds of working institution and positions. Second, there was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) as to higher work settlement and wage satisfaction within all kinds of positions. In addition, there was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) as to higher job satisfaction and colleague perception within all kinds of positions except for physical therapist, general adminstration, facilities, nutrition, and etc. There was higher organizational effectiveness(a sense of belonging and pride) within all kinds of positions except for general adminstration, facilities, nutrition, and etc, as to lower job or work complaint.
