IPTV 기반의 이러닝 마켓플레이스는 IPTV를 통한 이러닝 서비스 제공을 하기 위한 교육 콘텐츠 공급자와 수요자간의 마켓플레이스로써, 이는 양방향 매체 하에서의 이러닝 서비스로써 많은 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며, 방송통신융합의 초기 단계에서 IPTV는 다양한 콘텐츠와 서비스 모델의 개발을 통하여 그 효용성을 높이는데 기여를 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 IPTV기반의 이러닝 마켓플레이스에서 핵심적인 프레임워크를 구성하기 위하여 이러닝, e-마켓플레이스, IPTV에서의 특징과 기존의 이러닝 마켓플레이스들의 기능을 매트릭스를 통한 비교분석으로 기본요소를 추출하고, 이를 통하여 프레임워크를 구성한다. 또한 비즈니스모델 개발을 위하여 비즈니스모델설정, 참여자/역할, 제품/서비스 커버리지, 운영시나리오, 수익모델을 작성하고 이를 통하여 실제적으로 비즈니스모델의 구현이 가능한지를 검증한다.

본 논문에서 제안하고자 하는 IPTV 채널캐슁 서비스는 IPTV 서비스의 품질요소인 QoE(Quality of Experience)의 개선을 목적으로 하고 있다. IPTV 채널캐슁 방법은 IPTV 서비스가 실시간 방송 및 VOD(Video On Demand)등 다양한 패턴의 서비스를 선택하는 사용자의 채널요구 패턴을 반영한 인접채널(adjacent-channel)을 멀티캐스트하면, 사용자의 채널전환요구시 제어메시지 전송 및 스위칭에 소요되는 대기시간을 줄여 사용자의 채널전환지연시간을 개선할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 LRFU(Least Recently Frequently Used) 알고리즘에 기반한 MCA(Multicast Channel Agent)을 제안하며, MCA을 구성모듈에 대한 설명을 기술한다.

This paper analyzed major factors affecting video quality in IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) services in multicasting under our lab network environment similar to practical IPTV service networks. We measured video qualities for the broadcasting traffics in IPTV multicasting with or without applying QoS (Quality of Service) technique. The measurements allowed us to extract thresholds of network measurement factors affecting the quality for the service. It will be a good choice that the factors can be a reference to ensure stable video quality for practical IPTV services in multicasting.

오늘날 폐쇄형 IPTV 서비스 환경에서는 일방적인 콘텐츠 제공자로부터 생성 및 생성된 콘텐츠를 소비자가 일방적으로 소비하는 형태이다. 그러나 기존 디지털 콘텐츠의 유통 및 소비과정에서 콘텐츠를 보호하기 위한 각 제공 업체의 솔루션이 독자적인 방식으로 개발되어 이들 간의 호환성 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문은 IP 네트워크를 통해 소비자가 개인 방송 콘텐츠 사업자와 같이 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 생성, 편집하고 고유한 방식으로 스타일대로 콘텐츠를 메타데이타와 함께 패키지 콘텐츠로 재가공하여 소비할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 재가공된 패키지 콘텐츠를 공유 또는 재판매 할 수 있게 하는 개방형 IPTV 서비스 환경에서의 패키지 콘텐츠의 실시간 스트리밍 및 주문형 서비스의 차별적 제공 방안을 제안한다.

Due to rapid developments of IT technologies, convergence services like IPTV (Internet protocol television) are shown up. Even though expert and customer had great expectations for this innovative service, commercialization was delayed for years by the legal dispute between industry players. One of the biggest problems was that whether internet backbone providers have to share their internet network backbone with IPTV service providers (which don't have network backbone) or not. As other countries, Korean government set the rules that ISP have to offer indiscriminate access to other IPTV service provider. At the same time, internet backbone providers can charge access charge based on cost by way of compensation. Thus access charge is very critical to the IPTV industry players. The objective of this paper is to provide model that can calculate the reasonable access charge by system dynamics, based upon real data in Korean telecommunication industry.

A large amount of efforts are required to search user's preferred contents for the program contents being provided by IPTV services. In this paper, using collaborative filtering, an automatic recommendation method of IPTV program contents is presented by reasoning similar group preferences on IPTV program contents which constitutes personalized IPTV environments. The proposed method models the user's preference of IPTV program contents with the program attributes such as content, genres, channels actor/actress, staffs and calculates it using the watching history of program contents in different genres and watching times. Also, the proposed method considers timely changing user's preference and the preference oon the content itself, which improves the traditional collaborative filtering methods that can not recommend the non-consumed items.

The purpose of this study is to elicit influential factors on accepting IPTV services and define the casual relationship between the factors, and "user satisfaction", "re-use intention", "stranger recommendation intention", in an attempt to provide useful guidelines to IPTV carriers, contents providers and equipment makers for their forming IPTV service models and marketing strategies. For this end, the theoretical background of this study has been brought from relevant literature, and theoretical study models have been established by logical reasoning of the interrelation among diverse components. Then, the established models have been analyzed by using statistical packages "SPSS(12.0), LISREL(8.72)". Finally theoretical and practical significance and future study direction have been suggested. To make sure of effective validity of IPTV service adoption models above, empirical studies should be made continuously. And then vertical and horizontal studies at a specific point would show ever-changing causal relationship, helping to promote financial outcome of relevant companies and organizations.

방송통신 융합 환경에서 공공서비스를 제공하기 위한 표준화나 규격정립이 안되어 있어 현 시점에서 대국민 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 IPTV 사업자별로 별도의 IPTV 서비스 개발 및 제공이 필요하며, 이에 따른 중복투자 및 운영의 비효율성이 우려된다. IPTV기반 방통융합공공서비스를 제공함에 있어 공공기관과 IPTV사업자들의 중복투자를 막고 효율적인 서비스 제공을 위해 복수의 공공기관과 복수의 IPTV사업자간 효율적인 서비스연동 및 통신망 연동을 위한 체계 정립이 필요하다. 또한 One Source Multi-use 구현을 위한 ACAP-J기반의 서비스 표준플랫폼 정립을 통한 상호 연계 방안 확립이 요구된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 ACAP-J기반의 One Source Multi-use를 위한 양방향VOD형 공공서비스 제공 방안과 관련 규격을 제안한다.

본 고에서는 참여형 서비스 기술 동향을 먼저 소개하고 IPTV에서 시청자가 방송 영상에 실시간으로 참여할 수 있는 IPTV 참여형방송 기술에 대하여 기술한다. 본 기술은 IPTV가 가지고 있는 방송 특징과 양방향성을 고려하여 도출된 다음 요구사항을 반영하여 설계한 기술이다. 방송을 위한 방송예약 기능을 지원해야 하며 IPTV 시청자의 참여를 제어할 수 있는 절차가 잘 정의되어야 하고 이를 제어할 수 있는 호처리 프로토콜이 잘 설계되어야 한다. 끝으로 실시간 참여형방송 서비스를 위해서는 서비스 지연시간이 짧아야 한다. 이런 기능 및 성능 요구사항을 반영한 IPTV 참여형방송 시스템을 설계하고 실제 제품으로 개발 여 그 성능을 확인하였다.

The union of broadcasting and telecommunication is developing by the rapid advance of communications technology and the digitalization of broadcasting. IPTV appears as a standard service of the union of broadcasting and telecommunication because it uses more extended broadband which enables people to watch TVs and uses various communication services at the same time. Therefore, I would like to study the structure of IPTV services, some technical issues for high-quality services and propose solutions.
