In most public transportation related master plans, decisions for investment priorities are initially made by facilities with lower installation rates or lower satisfaction (performance) levels. In general, the decisions are made without conducting importance factor analysis. In this study, a combined method of importance-performance analysis (IPA) model for bus users related in travel time is proposed by using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the IPA for Metropolitan users show that the categories need improvement are number of bus stops, number of intersections, headways, waiting times for boarding and traffic signal operations in order. On the other hand, Non-Metropolitan uses show that the categories need improvement are traffic signal operations, waiting times for boarding, headways, bus exclusive lanes and number of intersections that is in reverse order to Metropolitan users.

The present study applied the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) to derive several practical alternatives for the improvement of Chuncheon Silver Orchestra program using IPA(importance-performance analysis). Most importantly, this work performed a comparative study using sample data collected from two groups of silver member(N=53) and program operator(N=32). A careful literature review leaded to the development of six types of evaluation sectors, including 'connection with the local community', 'budget operation', 'program operation', 'manpower operation', 'public relations strategy' as well as 'environment for program operation'. This work further devised twenty-two evaluation items. The results indicated that silver member group rated 'manpower operation' the highest in their both perceived importance and performance. Program operator group rated 'budget operation' and 'manpower operation' rated the highest in their perceived importance and performance, respectively. The results form IPA matrix analysis provides an important implication that much efforts and interests should be sustainably given from the perspective of the silver member group and the program operator group coupled with four types of IPA quadrant, accordingly.

This paper investigates passengers' perceptions of the importance and satisfaction of airline service quality for improving the quality level of airline service. Importance-performance analysis(IPA) was utilized to analyze the gap between importance and performance of airline service qualify The result showed that passengers' perceptions of the importance and performance of airline service quality differed for Korean international air passengers. In particular, IPA analysis revealed that four attributes 'meal service', 'seating comfort', 'seat space and legroom', 'check-in service' were identified in the Concentrate Here quadrant-perceived to be important, yet perceived as being performed poorly. The airlines operating from/to the Republic of Korea should concentrate on the attributes included in this quadrant to improve the quality of airline service. On the basis of the IPA analysis, airlines should identify their strengths and weaknesses and draw up a plan to maximize their profits.

The purpose of this study is to analyze importance and satisfaction of management and curriculum of personal assistants education. This study analyzed exploratory factor of importance and satisfaction questions in personal assistants education, correlation and a difference of importance and satisfaction according to factors, and investigates improvement plan through IPA analysis. The targets of this research are 231 personal assistants participating in personal assistants education managed in South Gyeonggi-do. As a result, it is shown that the sub-factors of personal assistants education mostly have a correlation, and two factors such as 'education management' and 'curriculum' are investigated. As a result of IPA analysis, it is drawn that 'education period' needs intensive improvement in education management, and 'practice class' and 'theory class' need intensive improvement in curriculum. This research is significant because the importance and satisfaction of personal assistants education are investigated and the improvement plan is provided.

2001년 이후 고용노동부는 산업재해예방을 위해 50인 미만 근로자가 근무하는 소규모 사업장을 대상으로 재정지원을 해주는 클린사업장조성지원사업을 수행하고 있다. 클린사업의 성과를 향상시키기 위해서는 사업 추진 과정과 지원 이후의 상황이 철저히 관리되어야만 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 클린사업 지원을 받은 기업을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여, 추진 과정 중의 중요도와 만족도, 그리고 지원이후의 중요도와 만족도를 조사하였다. IPA 분석을 이용하여 클린사업의 중요도-만족도 분석을 하였으며, 그 결과 추진 과정에서는 지원 금액, 지원품목 품질, 지원품목의 다양성 요소에 특히 관심을 더 가져야 하는 것으로 나타났고, 지원 이후에는 모든 성과변수들이 기대하는 수준만큼의 성과를 얻고 만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the importance and satisfaction of users in the use and selection of a dance academy and contribute to methods for the activation of a dance academy based on basic information. A questionnaire survey was conducted with 213 users attending 12 dance academies in G Metropolitan City using the IPA statistical method. The following conclusions were drawn. The highest importance of a dance academy in IPA analysis was a professional teacher, followed by clean dance equipment, transit accessibility, dance academy fee, and a kind teacher. The highest satisfaction was a professional teacher, followed by various dance programs, teacher's choreography ability, a kind teacher, and transit accessibility. Based on the findings, dance academy users felt that the professionalism and kindness of teachers who directly teach them, academy fee, and equipment cleanliness associated with the age of COVID-19 were important. High satisfaction factors were teacher-related factors and transit accessibility. Therefore, it is considered that a professional and kind teacher and clean and hygienic environment will contribute to the activation of a dance academy.

As a simple and practicable method, an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) is often used as a tool to study the satisfaction of tourists in Tourism. The IPA has two dimensions to attribute importance and performance(or satisfaction as in satisfaction research), and generally uses an interviewee self-reported approach to acquire performance and importance data. Many scholars have pointed out that the traditional IPA cannot meet the premise of its establishment. Therefore, several revised IPA have been proposed. Among them, Deng's IPA is the most representative. There are not many contrastive analyses between the traditional IPA and revised IPA in academia. The lack of comparative study will make it difficult to judge the difference and effectiveness of different IPA techniques. Taking Gyeongju Yangdong Village as an example, this study investigated and researched the degree of satisfaction of Chinese tourists using the traditional IPA method and Deng's modified IPA method respectively, and then analysed the differences between the two methods and their causes. Based on the analysis results, the study put forward suggestions for the improvement of tourism management in Gyeongju Yangdong Village.

This study endeavors to propose factors that should be intensively managed by using an IPA model to analyze the strengths of military logistics. Based on the improvement measures, we constructed a questionnaire with 5 points of Likert scale and analyzed the importance and satisfaction through SPSS 23. Examination of several evaluation factors revealed 'expansion of and modernization storage facilities' as the most important factor, 'merger and abolition of regional logistics work' (3.56) had the highest satisfaction level. Factors involving the expansion and modernization of the storage facilities showed the largest difference between importance level and satisfaction level, at 2.01. This indicates the necessity for an overall review of the expansion and modernization of storage facilities related to military logistics. This study aims to identify the areas that should be improved firstly in military logistics and concentrate on management to create more effective results. Thus it suggests that this study has a concentration on management for the streamlining of military logistics.

This study aimis to identify policy priorities for promoting youth activities through the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). IPA is used to identify policy priorities for promoting local youth activities. The IPA tabulated result is presented in a two-dimensional grid to showing for promoting local youth activities, The require concentrate support part is divided into 3 parts. Problem solve supporting at work development of leisure activities programs, leisure activities programs developing and development of leisure-related professionals. Creating rental housing for young people, support for housing expenses supporting, loans supporting, and Holiday guaranteed. Based on the factors that support youth activities that make up the IPA matrix, the implications of revitalizing local youth activities is presented as below. First, ensuring employment of local youth and efforts to create sustainable jobs. Second, continuous efforts to improve the housing conditions of local youth, and third, policy support is needed for local youth to do various leisure activities.

This study was conducted to research the Selection Attribute for Pension which is located in the region of S. Gyeonggi-do. We intended to find the best choice point for reserving the pension using IPA and suggest or provide strategic implications and marketing method for running the pension. The survey was conducted from the early January to the end of March in 2012 with one to one method. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 229 responded questionnaires were reliable to be used as a sample. The result of the survey was analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 version for window with Paired t-test and IPA method. Frequency Analysis was also conducted for the characteristic of samples. Findings are presented and discussed in three areas. First, the cleanliness of rooms, service for customer, heating and cooling system are the key important factors for the choice of pensions. Secondly, all factors are statistically significant level(p<0.01, p<0.001) as a results of performing IPA method. Thirdly, the result has shown that the varity of programs in the pension have significant impact on the customers' choice and satisfaction.
