Comparing the accuracy of six intraoral scanners on prepared teeth and effect of scanning sequence

  • PURPOSE. The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of six recently introduced intraoral scanners (IOSs) for single crown preparations isolated from the complete arch, and to determine the effect of scanning sequence on accuracy. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A complete arch with right and left canine preparations for single crowns was used as a study model. The reference dataset was obtained by scanning the complete arch using a highly accurate industrial scanner (ATOS Core 80, GOM GmbH). Six different IOSs (Trios, iTero, Planmeca Emerald, Cerec Omnicam, Primescan, and Virtuo Vivo) were used to scan the model ten times each. The scans performed with each IOS were divided into two groups, based on whether the scanning sequence started from the right or left quadrant (n=5). The accuracy of digital impression was evaluated using three-dimensional analyzing software (Geomagic Studio 12, 3D Systems). The Kruskal Wallis and Mann- Whitney U statistical tests for trueness analysis and the One-way ANOVA test for precision analysis were performed (α=.05). RESULTS. The trueness and precision values were the lowest with the Primescan (25 and 10 ㎛), followed by Trios (40.5 and 11 ㎛), Omnicam (41.5 ㎛ and 18 ㎛), Virtuo Vivo (52 and 37 ㎛), iTero (70 and 12 ㎛) and Emerald (73.5 and 60 ㎛). Regarding trueness, iTero showed more deviation when scanning started from the right (P=.009). CONCLUSION. The accuracy of digital impressions varied depending on the IOS and scanning sequence used. Primescan had the highest accuracy, while Emerald showed the most deviation in accuracy for single crown preparations.

  • 스마트워크는 스마트기기를 활용하여 업무의 효율성을 높이는 것을 말한다. 스마트워크는 기업들의 업무 생산성을 향상시키고, 비용을 절감하여 업무효율성은 향상되지만, 이에 따른 다양한 정보보호에 대한 위협이 존재한다. 재택 근무, 모바일 오피스, 스마트워크 센타 등을 운영하기 위해서는 다양한 네트워크 자원, 서버, 플렛폼을 지원하는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어가 필요하다. 이에 따라 정보자원을 보호하는 보안 및 정보보호에 대한 취약점이 많이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트워크 서비스를 위하여 스마트워크 환경을 분석하고 정보보호관련 기준인 IOS27001 및 KISA-ISMS의 분석을 통하여 스마트워크 정보보호를 위한 취약점을 분석하였다. 정보보호 요구사항에 대하여 사용자 및 서비스 제공자 입장에서의 요구사항을 도출하였으며, 스마트워크 보안 위협 및 취약점에 대하여 공통부분, 모바일 오피스, 재택근무, 스마트워크 센터 등으로 나누어 취약점에 대한 대응방안을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 데이터의 생산량은 폭발적인 증가를 이루어왔고, 빅데이터를 안전하고 빠르게 저장하기 위한 대용량 저장 시스템이 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 저장시스템의 대표적인 구성은 빠른 데이터 처리속도를 가지고 있는 SSD를 신뢰성 높은 데이터 유지 보수가 가능한 RAID 그룹으로 사용하는 것이다. 그러나 SSD를 구성하는 낸드 플래시 메모리는 특정 횟수 이상 쓰기를 반복할 경우 열화가 발생하는 특징이 있기 때문에 RAID 그룹의 여러 SSD에서 동시에 불량이 발생할 가능성을 증가시킬 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 동시성 불량은 데이터를 복구할 수 없는 심각한 신뢰성의 문제를 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 RAID 그룹 내에서 각 SSD가 차등으로 수명 마감이 유도되도록 IO를 조절하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 SMART를 활용하여 각 SSD의 상태와 사용된 데이터 패턴에 따라 할당되는 IO 횟수를 단계별로 조절한다. 그리고 이 방법은 SSD의 차등 수명마감을 유도하기 때문에 RAID에서 대량의 동시성 불량이 발생하는 것을 방지하는 장점이 있다.

프레팅 피로 균열의 발생 위치 및 방향 예측 (Prediction of Initiation Location and Direction of Fretting Fatigue Crack)

  • Governing parameters for determination of the location of crack initiation and direction of crack initiation were investigated by performing fretting fatigue tests and analysis on Al 2024-T351. Fatigue tests were carried out using biaxial fatigue machine. It was shown that the dominant fatigue crack tended to initiate at the outer edge of one of the four bridge pads, growing at an angle beneath a pad, before turning perpendicular to the orientation of the axial load. Distribution of stresses generated during fretting fatigue loading along the interface was calculated by elastic FE simulation. It can be known that the location of crack initiation can be predicted by using the maximum tangential stress range. Futhermore, the crack initiation direction can also be predicted by a maximum tangential stress range.

  • Supply Chain Management have been introduced and used as strategic weapon for many companies. Large investments in the SCM was made, but many companies are not fully getting the performance from the systems. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of SCM difussion and performance in the perspective of Innovation and Information technology Acceptance. In developing the research model, The model consists of eight independent variables(Management support, Decision Making concentration, IS strategy, training education, relative advantage, technological compatibility, task compatibility, SCM cost), two moderator variables(interorganizational and intraorganizational diffusion), three dependant variables(efficiency, effectiveness, strategic advantage).

SIPOC 개념을 활용한 성과지표 개발 모델 (A Comprehensive Performance Indicators by SIPOC Model)

  • Purpose: In this study, we suggest the systematic and comprehensive model to develop PI(Performance Indicators) of the organization or the process. Methods: The model is developed theoretically by using SIPOC(Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer) approach which is a tool to analyze the process and is compared with existing models to develop PI or KPI(key performance indicators); financial indicators, BSC, IPOO(input, process, output, outcome), traditional QCD (quality, cost, delivery), and IOS(input, output system). Results: The model provides more systematic method to develop PI and more comprehensive set of PI pools for all kinds of hierarchical levels of process than any other models to develop PI or KPI. Conclusion: This model will provide useful tools for the managers and the organizations who wish to develop PI.

  • 전자시장에서 판매자와 구매자의 비즈니스 모델은 매우 다양하다. 그것은 자료의 이동에 이용되는 통신망에 따라서도 구분된다. 내부의 조직적인 자료 통신망은 구매자-판매자 관계에 대해 두 가지 대조적인 영향을 미친다. 또한 통신망은 구매자와 판매자사이에 더욱 짧은 거래에 의해 특정화된 전자적인 시장을 조장하기 위해 이용된다. 그러나 존재하는 상거래 관계를 강화하기 위한 통신망의 사용과 새로운 거래 파트너에 변화비용을 증가시킴으로써 파트너를 일정한 상태로 유지하는데는 그럴 듯 하다. 이에 따라 전자적인 시장에 대한 요즘의 추세는 더욱 널리 인식되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 배경에서 판매자와 구매자의 이론적이고 논리적 근거들을 바탕으로 전자시장에 적합한 비즈니스 모델들을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다.

공급체인관리시스템 도입에 영향을 주는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Adoption of Supply Chain Management Systems)

  • This study examined the factors that make Korean companies adopt supply chain management systems. By adding a group of inter-organizational factors, we extended an innovation-theory-based research model to study the information technology adoption. Sixty three questionnaires from 700 leading companies in Korea were collected and analyzed. Independent variables of the research included environmental, organizational, innovation, and relational characteristics. We found that supply chain management systems in Korean companies are at the initial stage of the adoption, in general. This research also found that company's environmental characteristics have insignificant relationship with the adoption of supply chain management systems. In addition, organizational characteristics (the support of top management, the size of organization, and the information technology infrastructure), innovation characteristics of the supply chain, and the power exercised over the supply chain played important roles in adopting supply chain management systems.

  • The aim of this paper is to identify the barriers to the B2B e-commerce development in China's pharmaceutical industry and to devise an effective strategy for its future development. Built on a detailed investigation of the market structure and recent development of electronic commerce in China's pharmaceutical industry, this paper proposes that the key issue in the development of effective B2B e-commerce business models is the successful transformation of the inter- organizational information systems into electronic marketplaces. In order to ensure the success of such electronic marketplaces, a government driven approach will be needed. In the process, designing an incentive compatible mechanism of coordinating the interest of all the market players will be the prerequisite.

기업간 정보시스템의 도입에 미치는 영향요인 (The Factors Towards the Adoption of Interorganizational Systems)

  • There seems to be a renewed interest in Interorganizational relationship to search for strategic information partnerships. It is particularly noteworthy that no study has yet reported conflgurations at the level of interorganizational relationships nor compared such configurations across different types of ISO(interorganizational system). This paper seeks to uncover dominant configurations of interorganizational relationships across the various types of ISO. We Integrate relevant theoretical concepts from transaction cost economics, organization theory and political economy to develop a conceptual model of interorganizational relationships. We empirically uncover a set of hypothesis toward the patterns of interorganizetional relationships. Moreover the implications for further research pertaining to the logic and development of configurations were proposed.
