Food Media Content Study for an AI Smart Speaker

  • Society advances through technology, and technology has changed many lifestyles. The need for food is varying, but the availability of food is constantly changing as trends in production change. Combining the food industry and technology, a robot that delivers food and also cooks it has been developed. The time has come for a combination of food content and technology to advance the restaurant industry. This study discusses the application of a recommended food content media providing system using a curation engine that recommends contents according to individual tastes and preferences for the convenience of those who use food contents, using artificial intelligence speakers. We discuss the technologies required to develop video contents optimized for AI speakers with screens and shapes, combined with inset top boxes.

Heat Transfer Analysis of Friction Welding of A2024 to SM45C (A2024 와 SM45C 마찰용접의 열전달 해석)

  • The hear transfer mechanism initiating the friction welding is examined and a transient three dimensional heat conduc-tion model for the welding of two dissimilar cylindrical metal bars is investigated. The cylindrical metal bars are made of materials made of A2024 and SM 45C. Numerical simulations of heat flow are performed using the finite volume method. Respectively. Commercial FLUENT code is used in the heat flow simulation and maximum temperature and distribution of temperature are calculated. Temperature of friction welded joining face is compared with the temperature distribution measured by experiment and numerical simulation. The maximum temperature of friction welded joining face is lower than melting point of A2024-T6 aluminum alloy using insert metal. The temperature distribution of friction welded join- ing face with insert metal is more uniform than that of without inset metal.

The Design and Modeling of a Reconfigurable Inset-Fed Microstrip Patch High Gain Antenna for Wireless Sensor Networks

  • In this paper, we designed a tunable microstrip patch antenna using RF MEMS switches. The design and simulation of the antenna were performed using a high frequency structure simulator(HFSS). The antenna was designed for use in the ISM band and either operates at 2.4 GHz or 5.7 GHz achieving -10 dB return-loss bandwidths of 20 MHz and 180 MHz, respectively. In order to obtain high efficiency and improve the ease of integration, a high resistivity silicon(HRS) wafer on a glass substrate was used for the antenna. The antenna achieved high gains: 8 dB at 5.7 GHz and 1 dB at 2.4 GHz. The RF MEMS DC contact switches were simulated and analyzed using ANSYS software.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력증폭기를 슬롯이 적재된 삼각형 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나와 동일 평면의 기판에 집적화하여 전력증폭기 출력단의 제 3 고조파 튜닝을 안테나가 수행함으로써 전력효율을 향상시키는 효과에 대해 고찰하였다. 또한 실제 집적화에 따른 송\ulcorner수신 신호의 분리 문제를 위해 이중공진 특성을 이용한 inset 마이크로스트립 급전과 coax 급전의 이중급전 방식을 사용하였고, 이에 따라 두 ports 사이에 높은 격리 특성을 갖도록 능동 집적 안테나를 설계하였다. 선형성을 증대시키기 위해 제 3 고조파 튜닝 효과를 갖도록 안테나에 슬롯을 적재시켜 제 3 고조파에서 방사를 억제 구조를 갖게 함으로써 고조파 튜닝회로를 축소시킨 능동 집적 안테나를 설계, 제작하여 측정한 결과, B급 전력증폭기와 안테나를 각각 제작하여 결합한 형태보다 약 5%의 전력 효율 개선 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 그리고 능동 집적 안테나의 큰 문제점이었던 송\ulcorner수신 분리에 대하여서도, IMT-2000 주파수 대역의 수신 port에서 송신 주파수의 신호를 -35dB 이하로 격리시키는 특성을 나타냄을 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • Managing large infected midline abdominal defects are clinically challenging and technically demanding. The alloplastic materials, regional flaps, and component separation are usually infeasible because of the size, location, depth, and state of the defects. In these cases, the free flap is the only option with a large well-vascularized tissue that is free to inset regardless of the location. Herein, we report a case of 44-year-old man with a large infected midline abdominal wall defect who was completely treated with a latissimus dorsi myocutaeous free flap followed by negative pressure wound therapy.

  • Micromolding methods are most suitable for mass production of plastic microlens and lens array with low cost. Among the procedures related with micromolding of microlens array, fabrication of mold insect which contains micro cavity of lens shape is the most important stage. In this study, nickel mold inserts for 45 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and 95 $\mu\textrm{m}$ diameters lens way were fabricated using electroforming process. The mother for metal mold inset was made using reflow method. A micro compression molding with polymer powders was used to test the qualities of the metal mold insets. Micro lens profile and surface roughness was measured by interferometric technique and AFM, respectively. The final molded lens replicated the mother well, and had good surface quality.

Succession of Insect Communities by Desiccation of Bog Hwaemneup at Mt. Wonhyosan, Yangsan (양산 원효산 화엄늪에서 육화에 따른 곤충군집의 천이)

  • Difference of the inset diversity and community structures between the bog Hwaeom-neup and its surrounding forest of Mt. Wonhyo-san located at Yangsan were investigated. Overall 15 orders, 87 families, 204 genera and 233 species were identified. Hydrophilic Harpalidae species were observed in small number at the bog, while the insect species representing hardwood forest were also collected at the bog. Species diversity was relatively higher at the forest (H'=4.80) than at the bog (H'=4.10). The dominant species was Diplous depressus (Gebler) both at bog as well as at forest. Ground-walking Coleoptera as Carabus sternbergi stembergi Roeschke, Damaster jankowskii jankowskii (Oberthur) and D. depressus was spread from forest into bog. Longhorn beetles Leptura arcuata Panzer and Chlorophorus diadema (Motschulsky) being characteristic species of shrub forest were also observed spreading into bog. It was consequently suggested that the bog was in part progressed into dry succession and its boundary was not clearly defined with forest at least upon the structure of insect commnunity.

Die design system for deep drawing and ironing of high pressure gas cylinder

  • This paper describes a research work on the die design for the deep drawing & ironing(D. D. I) of high pressure gas cylinder. D. D. I die set is large-sized die used in horizontal press, which is usually composed of a drawing, and an ironing die. Design method of D. D. I die set is very different from that of conventional cold forging die set. Outer diameter of the die set is fixed because of press specification and that of the insert should be as small as possible for saving material cost. In this study, D. D. I die set has been designed to consider those characteristics, and the feasibility of the designed die has been verified by FE-analysis. In addition, the automated system of die design has been developed in AutoCAD R14 by formulating the applied methods to the regular rules.

A Study on Dual Band Slitted Circular Patch Array Antenna (슬릿에 의한 2중 밴드 원형 패치 안테나에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 Dual Band Microstrip Patch 안테나를 제작하였다. 성능 측정을 위해서 슬릿의 위치에 따른 특성을 Ansoft사의 HFSS를 이용하여 시뮬레이션하였고, 이를 바탕으로 GSM과 DCS 주파수 대역을 동시에 만족 시키는 원형 패치 안테나를 인셋(inset) 급전 방식을 이용하여 원하는 중심 주파수에서 공진이 일어나도록 설계 하였다. 그 결과 슬릿과 패치의 간격이 0.5mm, 슬릿의 폭은 1mm, 각도는 $98^{\circ}$일 때 가장 좋은 특성과 각각의 중심주파수에서 $S_{11}$이 -6.85dB, -9.691dB인 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • We have studied on the possibility of railway stability system using RFID tag. UHF RFID tag was desinged, manufactured and tested. Proposed UHF tag antenna has PIFA type structure and inset feed multi matching technique was attempted for impedance matching of antenna. The impedance bandwidth (VSWR < 3) of the proposed tag antenna covers 917~923 MHz. Measured peak gain is 3.225 dBi and UHF band with an omni-directional radiation pattern. RFID reader and tag installed in motor car and track, respectively. Then, tag recognition rate according to velocity of car (under 45 km/h) represented 100 %.
