노년기 부부의 성역할태도가 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Sex-Role Attitude of the Elderly Couples on Marital Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 노년기 부부의 인구사회적 특성에 따른 성역할 태도와 결혼만족도의 차이를 분석하고, 성역할 태도(성역할 인식, 성능력 인식)와 결혼만족도의 영향관계를 분석하였다. 설문조사는 경기도에 거주하는 60세 이상의 노년기 부부를 대상으로 실시하여 총 378부를 수집하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 위계적회귀분석, t-test 및 분산분석 등을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 성역할 태도와 결혼만족도에 부분적인 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 성역할 인식은 결혼만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 성능력 인식은 영향을 미치지 않았다.

  • 여러종류의 리파제를 이용하여 $({\pm})-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-cyano-2-phenyl-1-hexanol(2)$와 이의 acetate ester(3)을 광학분할하고 분할된 화합물들을 이용하여 (R) 및 (S)-systhane을 합성하였다. 현재 상품으로 팔리고 있는 $({\pm})-systhane$과 (R) 및 (S)-systhane의 항균활성을 조사하여 2 ppm의 농도에서 모든 systhane이 밑붉은녹병과 보리흰가루병에 대하여 92%의 항균활성을 보여주었으나 (R) 및 (S)-systhane이 $({\pm})-systhtne$보다 더 좋은 항균팔성을 보여주지는 않았다.

밀양지역 농공단지 입주업체에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Enterprises in Rural Industrial Parks Located in Miryang-si)

  • There are positive evaluation as well as negative evaluation for Rural Industrial Park Project which was implemented since 1984 to boom up the regional economy in Korea. By conducting a survey for Rural Industrial Park enterprises located in Miryang-si, this study intends to examine the management condition of enterprises in Rural Industrial Parks and so derive the policy suggestion. According to the secondary data and the survey results, Rural Industrial Parks play an important role in the regional economy. The result of the survey shows that the enterprises are dissatisfied with excessively high distributing costs and they want improvement of roads and transportation condition. They recruit their employees mainly through advertisement and loan money from banks. One of serious problems is giving up the business due to shortage of fund or failing to find the markets. To prevent quitting business, a preliminary analysis of the feasibility of running business should be conducted. Technology and management guidance and marketing support are necessary not only for new enterprises, but for existing enterprises. Alternatives for connecting local resources and Rural Industrial Park and forming a network between local universities, institutes, and firms should be considered.

A report of 10 unrecorded bacterial species of Korea, belonging to the phylum Firmicutes

  • To investigate the indigenous prokaryotic species diversity in Korea, various environmental samples from diverse ecosystems were examined taxonomically. The isolated bacterial strains were identified based on 16S rRNA gene sequences, and those exhibiting at least 98.7% sequence similarity with known bacterial species but never reported in Korea were selected as unrecorded species. As an outcome of this study, 10 unrecorded bacterial species belonging to the phylum Firmicutes were discovered from various sources such as soil, tidal flat, fresh water, sea water, kimchi and gut of Fulvia mutica. The unrecorded species were assigned to 7 different genera of 5 families, namely Bacillus and Ornithinibacillus of Bacillaceae, Exiguobacterium of Exiguobacteriaceae, Brevibacillus and Paenibacillus of Paenibacillaceae, Staphylococcus of Staphylococcaceae, and Lactococcus of Streptococcaceae. The selected isolates were subjected to further taxonomic characterization including the analysis of Gram reaction, cellular and colonial morphology, biochemical activities, and phylogenetic trees. The descriptive information on the 10 unrecorded species are provided.

Generation of Graded Index Profile of Poly(methyl methacrylate) by a Photochemical Reaction

  • Fabrication of a graded index profile was possible via photochemical reaction of cinnamoyl groups with 350 nm wavelength UV light to form crosslinked structures. Such structural change may induce the change in the refractive index. In order to generate graded index profile in the PMMA polymer optical fiber (POF) with cinnamoyl groups by photochemistry, a methyl methacrylate monomer containing a cinnamoyl functional group in the side chain were prepared. This monomer was then copolymerized with methyl methacrylate with various compositions not only to utilize advantages of poly(methyl methacrylate) but also to overcome the drawbacks of the cinnamate homopolymer. Changes of refractive indices were investigated with various contents of cinnamoyl group and varying irradiation time. Large change in the refractive index (${\Delta}{\approx}0.01$) and its proper profile shape ($g{\approx}2.2$) can be obtained by changing irradiation time.

천장형 유닛을 설치한 교실 내의 인체 주변 온열환경에 관한 실측연구 (A Field Measuring Study on the Thermal Environment of Human Surrounding in the Classroom Equipped with Ceiling Unit)

  • This paper performed to investigate on vertical temperature distribution, effective draft temperature (ETD) and PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) in the classroom, which is located YangSan city (Kyungsangnam-Do), Korea, is equipped with ceiling unit. The vertical temperature difference between F.L+10 cm (ankle) and F.L+120 cm (neck) of a measuring point which is adjacent corridor in the classroom showed about $1^{\circ}C$ but of measuring point which is adjacent outdoor expressed up to $4^{\circ}C$, The effective draft temperature (ETD) is -2.3 and -0.52 and 0.67 at near ceiling unit but is 1.2 and 3.3 at far from ceiling unit. The PMV of total classroom showed the range of 'Cold' and 'Slightly Cold.' Therefore, to achieve comfort condition in the classroom is equipped with ceiling unit, the location of ceiling unit and discharge angle and discharge distance from ceiling unit are very important elements.

팔당호에서 분리한 남조 Anabaena circinalis의 지오스민 생산 잠재성 (Geosmin Production Potential of a Cyanobacterium, Anabaena circinalis Isolated from Lake Paldang, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 온도, 광도, 인 등 서로 다른 환경 조건 하에서 Anabaena circinalis의 지오스민 생산 특성을 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 실험에 사용한 남조류는 팔당호에서 분리되었다. 남조류 A. circinalis의 성장률과 지오스민 생산은 온도(10, 15, 20, $25^{\circ}C$), 광도(60, 120, $240{\mu}mol\;photons\;m^{-2}\;s^{-1}$), 인 농도(0.01, 0.05, 0.25, 0.50, $1.00mg\;L^{-1}$) 등 여러 요인들을 통해서 조사하였다. 최고 성장률과 Chl-a 농도는 온도 $25^{\circ}C$, 광도 $60{\mu}mol\;photons\;m^{-2}\;s^{-1}$ 및 인 농도 $1.00mgP\;L^{-1}$에서 각각 나타났다. 총 지오스민 생산량은 각 환경요인의 최적 성장 조건에서 가장 높았으며, 지오스민 생산 잠재력(Chl-a 농도에 대한 지오스민 생산 비율)은 늦가을 및 초겨울과 같은 저온 기간을 포함한 불리한 성장조건에서 높았다. 본 연구 결과는 A. circinalis의 지오스민 생산이 엽록소 합성과 직접적인 관련이 있고 세포 성장 조건에 따른 다양한 변화 가능성을 나타내었다.

체세포배양액이 생쥐 난자의 Chymotrypsin에 대한 내성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Somatic Cell Conditioned Medium on the Chymotrypsin Resistance of Mouse Oocytes)

  • Certain types of somatic cells, as well as follicular cumulus cells associating with mammalian oocytes, are known to produce beneficial effects on in vitro fertilization and pre implantation development of mammalian eggs when they are present in oocyte culture medium. To investigate the nature of the effects of somatic cells, the resistance of mouse oocytes against chymotrypsin treatment was examined after culture within various cell conditioned media. When mouse oocytes matured for 17-18 hr in the presence of cumulus cells were treated with 1 % chymotrypsin, half of them remained still alive even after 240 min $(t_{50}>240.0)$. In contrast half of mouse oocytes cultured without cumulus cells underwent degeneration within 65.0 min $(t_{50}=65.0{\pm}13.2min)$ of the same treatment. To see if the effects were duc to the secretory products of cumulus cells, mouse cumulus cells were cultured for 20 hr in medium containing 0.4% BSA and the supernatant of culture medium (conditioned medium) was taken. After maturation in the cumulus cell conditioned medium, mouse oocytes exhibited $t_{50}=190.0{\pm}10.8$ min upon chymotrypsin treatment whereas half of oocytes cultured without conditioned medium degenerated within 25.5 min. Human granulosa cell conditioned medium gave similar effects such that oocytes matured in conditioned medium exhibited $t_{50}=183.3{\pm}19.1$ min while $t_50$ of control group oocytes was $60.0{\pm}6.8$ min, Oocytes matured in vero cell conditioned medium exhibited $t_{50}=196.7{\pm}8.8$ min. On the other hand, amniotic cell conditioned medium resulted in the chymotrypsin resistance of $t_{50}=80.0{\pm}8.4$ min which was not statistically different from the control value of $t_{50}=48.0{\pm}13.2$ min. Based upon these results, it is suggested that certain somatic cell types including cumulus cells might change the biochemical properties of mouse oocyte membrane during meiotic maturation as revealed by the enhanced resistance against chymotrypsin treatment. Such effects of somatic cells appear to be mediated via the secretory products rather than direct communication between somatic cells and oocytes.

고혈압 환자의 연간 내원일수, 처방일수 그리고 진료비 (Annual Visit Days, Prescription Days and Medical Expenses of Hypertensive Patients)

  • Objectives : To evaluate the annual visit days, the annual prescription days and the medical costs of hypertensive patients. Methods : The medical insurance records of 40,267 incident patients with the diagnostic code of hypertension from September 1998 through August 1999 in Daegu city were reviewed. Results : The proportion of the most proper medical care pattern group (Group VIII) who visited for 6-15 days with 240 prescription days or more a year was only 6.2%. The proper care group (Group IX) who visited for more than 16 days with 240 prescription days or more a year was 9.3%. The overall proper care group (Group VIII+IX) was therefore 15.5%. The proportion of the insufficient care group (Group I, IV) in both the number of visiting days and prescription days was 57.4%. The mean prescription day of the most proper group (Group VIII) was 29 days; the mean annual medical expenses,453,587won; the mean annual amount paid by patients, 218,013won; and mean medical expenses per prescription day, 1,483won. The proportion of the overall proper care group (Group VIII+IX) was significantly higher in adults aged 50-59, those who were enrolled in industrial workers health insurance as well as government employees and private school teachers health insurance, and those who made a higher contribution per month (p<0.01). According to the type of medical facilities, the proportion of the most proper medical care pattern group was highest in the general hospitals (9.3%) but the overall proper care group was higher in the public health centers (22.1%) and private clinics (17.1%). Conclusions : The management system of hypertension should be reinforced urgently. Therefore, it is necessary to develop guidelines including the number of visiting days per year and prescription days per visit day, and make the system provide medical facilities to more properly care for hypertensive patients.

간호대학생의 생활스트레스와 스마트폰 중독 관련성 (The Relationship Between the Life Stress and Smartphone Addiction in Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 생활스트레스와 스마트폰 중독 관련성을 살펴보고자 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 일부 지역 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였고, 자료수집기간은 2018년 11월부터 12월까지이며, 분석대상은 240명 이었다. 자료 분석은 일반적 특성에 따른 스마트폰 중독수준, 스트레스 특성의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 빈도, 백분율, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, ANOVA분석을 하였고, 스마트폰 중독과 스트레스 특성과의 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation을 이용하였으며, 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향 요인을 위계적 다중회귀분석(Hierarchical multiple regression)으로 하였다. 그 결과 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인은 모델 1의 독립변수 설명력은 14.8%이었으며, 모델 2의 설명력은 32.7%이었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 스마트폰 중독 수준의 차이에서는 성별에서 여학생이 남학생보다 스마트폰 중독 수준이 높았으며, 대학생활에 만족하지 않는 군, 스마트폰 사용시간이 5시간 이상인 군, SNS 사용시간이 많은 군에서 스마트폰 중독 수준이 높았다. 또한 스트레스 특성과의 차이에서는 여학생이 스트레스 특성의 평균이 높았으며, 대학생활에 만족하지 않는군, 스마트폰 사용시간이 많은 군, 스마트폰 중독 위험군이 높았다. 결론적으로, 간호대학생의 스마트폰 중독에 여학생, 스마트폰 사용시간, SNS 사용시간, 학업스트레스, 가치관스트레스가 중요한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호 대학생의 스트레스 관리 프로그램을 강화하여 스트레스 관리를 위한 다각적인 지원이 필요하다고 하겠다.
