선형유도전동기의 운전 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimantal Study of the Performance Characteristics of Linear Induction Motor)

  • In this paper, the experimental unit of the cross inductive radio line and two linear induction motors driven by IGBT inverter for train control was made. In actual condition, the track has straight line, but so as to be able to achieve in small space, the unit prepared was shaped into two circular plates. Then by detecting inductive signal, the position data could be obtained. Also the equipment representing speed and thrust of LIM and train position by means of the experimantal unit could be composed.

  • Recently, the unipolar gate power source is preferred in inverter system because of cost reduction reason. In this case, designer uses 0V source for turning-off the switching devices instead of negative voltage at Vee source. If the gate driver circuit has some stray inductance, the gate voltage would happen a surge voltage. This paper analyzes that of stray inductance effect during the switching behavior in the circuit and the proposed solutions were verified by pulse test.

  • This paper presents a high efficiency low switching PWM technique for the propulsion system of Electric car. In order to achieve the continuous voltage control to six-step and a low harmonics with low switching frequency under 500㎐, the synchronous technique is combined with a space vector overmodulation and implemented by using DSP. Improved performance and a validation of proposed method is shown by the experimental results using a 1.65MVA IGBT VVVF inverter and inertia load equivalent to 160 tons electric cars.

  • Recently deep interests and attractions have been paid on the generation of ozone with environment polisy. Especially, which is widely used to remove bad smell and to clear water. This paper presents control and performance of a voltage source IGBT inverter developed for silent corona discharge type ozonizer. And proposed addition circuit for maintain discharge the center of in the airgap. In this paper, schemed equivalent electric circuit of the discharge electrode for simulation. Finally, the effectiveness of this discharge tube character of ozonizer is investigated in the simulation and experimental results.

  • Traction Motor is being transferred to the squirrel cage induction motor from D.C motor, by the improved power semiconductors like GTO, IGBT, etc. In the Induction Motor, inverter system must be used for delivering variable voltage variable frequency. But, by pulsating in the system the harmonics would be produced, and that cause the torque ripple and enfeeble the dynamic characteristics of the motor. So, to use the inverter system, we should take the torque ripple into consideration. To minimize the torque ripple in the VSI fed Traction Motor, the optimal pulsating was presented in this paper. By using the SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) method, feeding the appropriate pulse, we can minimize the torque ripple and improve the transient response.

  • In this paper, a simple power control scheme of Class-D inverter, which is varied duty cycle of fixed frequency to desired output power. It is more suitable and acceptable for high-frequency induction heating (IH) jar applications. The proposed control scheme has the advantages of not only wide power regulation range but also ease to control output power. Also it can achieve the stable and efficient Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) in whole load range. The control principles of proposed method are described in detail and its validity is verified trough simulations results on 38.5kHz IGBT for induction heating rated on 1.6kW with constant frequency variable power.

  • This paper presents the design, development and performance of a 250kW power conditioning system(PCS) for large scale photovoltaic power plant. The PV inverter consists of a three phase IGBT stack, L-C filter, transformer and HMI unit for monitoring. To verify the performance of the PV inverter a testing facility was designed and constructed to simulate the characteristics of the solar cell and grid.

  • Recent trend of increasing automated factories needs supply of high quality power from the utilities. Among the items of the power quality, voltage sag can be compensated by Dynamic Voltage Restorer(DVR). The key feature of the DVR is high response with less transient period to recover from the voltage sag due to the lightning or line-to-ground faults. In this paper we report that $H_{\infty}$ controller is very promising for the practical application to the controller of DVR. Experimental results shown in this paper was obtained by applying the control algorithm to 20 kVA DVR system. The experimental set consists of IGBT-based three phase inverter and the TMS320C32-60 DSP used for main processor of the control board. To simulate the 50% voltage sag, the SCR-based experimental set was constructed.

  • 본 논문에서는 NPC(Neutral Point Clamped) 및 T-type IGBT 모듈을 이용하여 3상 3-레벨 인버터를 구성하고, 인버터에서 발생되어지는 도통손실과 스위칭 손실을 PSIM의 Thermal Module을 사용하여 확인한다. 또한 토폴로지 상의 차이에 의해 발생되어지는 스위치 손실을 비교 하며, 시뮬레이션에 적용한 파라미터 값들을 수식에 직접 적용하여 손실에 영향을 미치는 파라미터를 확인하고, 각 파라미터의 값의 변화가 주어진 조건에서 전체 손실에 미치는 영향을 확인한다.
