덩굴망 통행패턴을 고려한 One-To-One 다경로알고리즘 (An One-To-One K-Shortest Path Algorithm Considering Vine Travel Pattern)

  • 회전제약(Turn Penalty and Prohibition)을 포함하는 방향성 그래프(Directed Graph)에서 두 지점(One-To-One)간 덩굴망(Vine)을 포함한 다수의 경로를 순차적으로 탐색하는 알고리즘(K-Shortest Path Algorithm)을 제안한다. 이를 위해 Yen이 제안한 다경로탐색알고리즘을 기반으로 교차로의 방향별 통행에서 발생되는 회전지체와 금지의 표현이 가능한 링크표지(Link-Labeled)탐색방식을 적용하는 기법을 개발한다. 사례연구를 통해 제안된 알고리즘은 교차로의 회전특성뿐만 아니라 U-Turn, P-Turn과 같은 덩굴망(Vine) 통행특성의 고려가 가능하며, 운전자의 인지비용(Perceived Cost)을 반영한 합리적인 대안경로(Reasonable Alternative Route)의 정보 제공 가능성을 입증했다.

  • This paper presents an algorithm for planning waypoints for the operation of a surveillance mission using cooperative unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a given map. This algorithm is rather simple and intuitive; therefore, this algorithm is easily applied to actual scenarios as well as easily handled by operators. It is assumed that UAVs do not possess complete information about targets; therefore, kinematics, intelligence, and so forth of the targets are not considered when the algorithm is in operation. This assumption is reasonable since the algorithm is solely focused on a surveillance mission. Various parameters are introduced to make the algorithm flexible and adjustable. They are related to various cost functions, which is the main idea of this algorithm. These cost functions consist of certainty of map, waypoints of co-worker UAVs, their own current positions, and a level of interest. Each cost function is formed by simple and intuitive equations, and features are handled using the aforementioned parameters.

연속형 RHC에 대한 개선된 구현 알고리즘 (Improved Implementation Algorithm for Continuous-time RHC)

  • This paper proposes an improved implementation algorithm for the continuous-time receding horizon control (RHC). The proposed algorithm has a feature that it has better control performance than the existing algorithm. Main idea of the proposed algorithm is that we can approximate the original RHC problem better by assuming the predicted input trajectory on the prediction horizon has a continuous form, which is constructed from linear interpolation of finite number of vectors. This, in turn, leads to improved control performance. We derive a predictor such that it takes linear interpolation into account and proposes the method by which we can express the cost exactly. Through simulation study fur an inverted pendulum, we illustrate that the proposed algorithm has the better control performance than the existing one.

분수 포함제와 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘의 연결성 (Quotitive Division and Invert and Multiply Algorithm for Fraction Division)

  • 피제수와 제수가 분수인 나눗셈에서, 포함제는 공통분모 알고리즘과 등분제는 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘과 대응한다고 여겨져 왔다. 분수 나눗셈 학습 지도에서 이와 같은 이분법을 넘어서려는 시도가 있어 왔다. 이러한 시도에서 포함제와 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘을 연결하는 방법으로는, 공통분모 알고리즘을 이용하는 방법, $1{\div}$(제수)를 매개로 하는 방법, 제수 쪽의 양을 1이라고 가정하는 방법이 있다. 기존의 방법들에서 포함제와 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘의 관련은 중간까지만 유지되거나 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘이라는 최종 결과만 등분제와 공유한다. 이 논문에서는 기존 방법의 한계를 넘어, 포함제와 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘의 연결성을 새로운 관점에서 심층 논의한다. 포함제를 측정접근법과 동형접근법으로 해결하는 과정에서 등분제에서와 동일한 수식 변형 과정을 거쳐 제수의 역수 곱하기 알고리즘이 유도될 수 있다. 이 연구의 결과는, 분수 나눗셈 계산법 학습 지도에 관한 이론적 논의의 장을 확장함과 더불어, 포함제와 등분제를 아우르는 분수 나눗셈의 통합 계산법 학습 지도 프로그램 개발에 국소 이론으로 사용될 수 있다.

단위 벡터를 이용한 고속 적응 계수 예측 알고리즘 (Fast Adaptive Parameter Estimation Algorithm using Unit Vector)

  • 본 논문은 계산량이 O(N)인 새로운 형태의 QRD-LS 적응 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 주요 사항은 입력벡터의 단위벡터 계산이 Given Rotation 과정에서 이루어짐에 근거하고 있다. 알고리즘의 성능 평가는 FIR 시스템 식별 문제를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 수행하였다. 이 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션의 결과 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 그리고 이론적으로 평균 측면에서 알고리즘이 최적 계수 벡터에 수렴함을 보였다.

  • The most important issues in gesture recognition are the simplification of algorithm and the reduction of processing time. The mathematical morphology based on geometrical set theory is best used to perform the real-time processing. A key idea of the algorithm proposed in this paper is to apply morphological shape decomposition. The primitive elements extracted from a hand gesture have very important information including the directivity of the hand gestures. Based on this algorithm, we proposed the morphological hand-gesture recognition algorithm using feature vectors extracted from lines connecting the center points of a main-primitive element and sub-primitive elements. Through the experiments, we applied to the video contents browsing system with natural interactions and demonstrated the efficiency of this algorithm.

전용 하드웨어로 구성한 FLC에 적합한 새로운 자기동조 알고리즘 (A Novel Self-tuning Algorithm Suitable for FLCs Utilizing Dedicated Hardwares)

  • More fuzzy hardware are expected to be utilized in the future to construct fuzzy logic controllers (FLCs). It is hard to find an existing fuzzy hardware which is adopting advanced functions such as self-tuning algorithm in addition to the conventional inference calculation. That is mainly because conventional self-tuning algorithms designed to implement with some hardware circuits is required for fuzzy hardwares to have self-tuning capability. As a first step toward the feature, a novel self-tuning algorithm is proposed in this paper. Based on the search method, the main idea of the proposed algorithm is to detemine valid ranges of input variables of an FLC in order to maximize performance indices fo the control system. The performance indices are so ismple as to be realized by hardware circuit. in dadditon to the conventional scaling-factor adjustment, the algorithm adjusts offset values as well, which, in effect, modifies fuzzy rules of the FLC. To justify the performance of the proposed algorithm, a simulation study is executed.

A Semi-blind Digital Watermarking Scheme Based on the Triplet of Significant Wavelet Coefficients

  • We proposed a semi-blind digital image watermarking technique for copyright protection. The proposed algorithm embedded a binary sequence watermark into significant wavelet coefficients by using a quantization method. The main idea of the quantization method was to quantize a middle coefficient of the triplet of a significant wavelet coefficient according to the watermark's value. Unlike an existing algorithm, which used a random location table to find a coefficient in which the watermark bit will be embedded: the proposed algorithm used quad-tree decomposition to find a significant wavelet coefficient for embedding. For watermark detection, an original host image was not required. Thanks to the usage of significant wavelet coefficients, the proposed algorithm improved the correlation value, up to 0.43, in comparison with the existing algorithm.

  • The algorithm developed in this paper utilized kettelle's [1] idea of the undominated allocation sequence and his way of tableau computation to solve the more general spares allocation problem in the system availability optimization. The algorithm is to optimally allocate resources to the independent modules which are connected to be series/parallel/mixed system configurations. It has advantages over the standard dynamic programming algorithm by eliminating the need for backtracking and by solving the allocation problem for any budget size. By careful heuristic inspection the algorithm can be made very efficient for manual calculations because large blocks of cells can be eliminated from computation. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the allocation algorithm.

  • A modified BFGS algorithm for solving the unconstrained optimization, whose Hessian matrix at the minimum point of the convex function is of rank defects, is presented in this paper. The main idea of the algorithm is first to add a modified term to the convex function for obtain an equivalent model, then simply the model to get the modified BFGS algorithm. The superlinear convergence property of the algorithm is proved in this paper. To compared with the Tensor algorithms presented by R. B. Schnabel (seing [4],[5]), this method is more efficient for solving singular unconstrained optimization in computing amount and complication.
