Implementation of Hydrological Survey Scheduling using Real-Time Water Level Information (실시간 수위정보를 활용한 수문조사 스케줄링 구현)

  • Hydrological survey measurement technology has improved due to the introduction of high-tech equipment and advances in technology, but hydrological survey still requires a lot of manpower and time, and the manpower invested is very limited compared to the size and scope of work. In addition, although automatic flow measurement facilities are in operation, it is difficult to expand them nationwide due to limited field conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the operating infrastructure and environment rather than the measurement technology itself for hydrological investigation. In addition, in terms of flow investigation, it is necessary to schedule an investigation using real-time water level information in order to inventory the accuracy of the water-flow relationship equation and improve work efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, research related to domestic hydrological surveys was analyzed and a hydrological survey scheduling system using real- time water level information based on Open API was implemented to increase the economic and efficiency of hydrological surveys.

Design and Verification of Pipelined Face Detection Hardware (파이프라인 구조의 얼굴 검출 하드웨어 설계 및 검증)

  • There are many filter based image processing algorithms and they usually require a huge amount of computations and memory accesses making it hard to attain a real-time performance, expecially in embedded applications. In this paper, we propose a pipelined hardware structure of the filter based face detection algorithm to show that the real time performance can be achieved by hardware design. In our design, the whole computation is divided into three pipeline stages: resizing the image (Resize), Transforming the image (ICT), and finding candidate area (Find Candidate). Each stage is optimized by considering the parallelism of the computation to reduce the number of cycles and utilizing the line memory to minimize the memory accesses. The resulting hardware uses 507 KB internal SRAM and occupies 9,039 LUTs when synthesized and configured on Xilinx Virtex5LX330 FPGA. It can operate at maximum 165MHz clock, giving the performance of 108 frame/sec, while detecting up to 20 faces.

A Study on The Effect of Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment In ICT Enterprises (ICT 기업의 조직문화가 조직구성원 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study puts stress on effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment depending on the type of organizational culture of ICT enterprises. This study utilized the 6th Human Capital Corporate Panel(HCCP) data from Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training to analyze the effects of organizational culture in ICT enterprises on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The Samples are managers, supervisor, and employees in ICT industries who replied thorough the 6th HCCP. Answers from 875 people, except inappropriate answers, were used to test a hypothesis. In order to do that, reliability analysis and correlation analysis and regression analysis, utilizing the SPSS 24.0 & Amos 18.0, were used to analyze the effects of organizational culture on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment in ICT enterprises. With the purpose of this study, organizational cultures in ICT enterprises have different effects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The group culture, development culture, rational culture and hierarchy culture have a positive effects on job satisfaction. And the group culture, development culture and rational culture have a positive effects on organizational commitment. Whereas, hierarchy culture have no effects on organizational commitment. Also, job satisfaction have a positive effects on organizational commitment. Among four cultures of ICT enterprises, the importance of group culture should be stressed. According to the result of empirical analysis, group culture has the most positive impact on job satisfaction, contrary to the expectation that development culture might be the one. So far, the group culture, which emphasizes organizational flexibility, integration, trust, teamwork, high participation, royalty and morale, have positive impact on the organizational employees the most.

  • 최근 드론 및 ICT 융·복합기술은 산업 전반에 걸쳐 새로운 대안을 제시하고 있으며, 종전의 산업은 데이터 생성·가공·활용의 효율성, 경제성, 안전성 등의 장점을 들어 빠른 속도로 관련 ICT와 의 접목을 시도해 왔다. 이를 통해 과거의 기술과 방식에서는 찾아보기 힘들었던 다양한 형태의 결과물을 제시하는 등 데이터 기반의 4차산업혁명이 선도하는 변화가 곳곳에서 일어나고 있다. 국토교통부에서는 2018년부터 중앙·지자체·공공기관 소속직원을 대상으로 드론 조종인력 양성사업을 시작으로 2019년 국방·치안·환경·안전·측량 등 10개 분야에 드론 활용 임무특화교육을 진행해왔으며, 2020년도에는 시설물 점검, 불법행위 추적 감시, 수자원 관리 등으로 교육 분야 추가하는 등 활용범위를 확대해나가고 있다. 경기도 안전관리실(안전특별점검단)에서는 이러한 국가정책의 방향에 맞춰 새로운 기술과 융합을 시도하고자 2020년부터 '드론 등을 활용한 시설물 안전점검 고도화 연구'를 시작으로 절토사면 및 옹벽 등 시설물 안전점검과 하천 및 우수저류지의 유지관리에 ICT 융·복합 기술 및 분석용 S/W 등을 적용하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 드론 및 LiDAR 등을 활용하여 하천, 배수로, 우수저류지 등에 대해 공공관리주체가 실시할 수 있는 유지관리점검 및 현황분석 방법에 관한 것으로서 「하천법」, 「자연재해대책법」, 「시설물의 안전 및 유지관리 실시 세부지침」, 「우수유출저감시설의 종류·구조·설치 및 유지관리 기준」 등에서 정한 사항에 대해 적용하였다. 이를 통해 하천, 우수저류지 등 수공구조물의 홍수위 변동성 평가, 홍수조절부 용량검토 등 홍수방어 능력에 대한 유지관리 차원의 공공관리주체 역할을 강화하는 제도적 측면을 검토하고, 드론, LiDAR 등의 ICT 융·복합 기술 활용 확대를 통해 예산절감 및 공공안전 강화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Designing a smart safe transportation system within a university using object detection algorithm

  • In this paper, we propose a novel traffic safety system designed to reduce pedestrian traffic accidents and enhance safety on university campuses. The system involves real-time detection of vehicle speeds in designated areas and the interaction between vehicles and pedestrians at crosswalks. Utilizing the YOLOv5s model and Deep SORT method, the system performs speed measurement and object tracking within specified zones. Second, a condition-based output system is developed for crosswalk areas using the YOLOv5s object detection model to differentiate between pedestrians and vehicles. The functionality of the system was validated in real-time operation. Our system is cost-effective, allowing installation using ordinary smartphones or surveillance cameras. It is anticipated that the system, applicable not only on university campuses but also in similar problem areas, will serve as a solution to enhance safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.

  • CEO's leadership is considered most important to cope with the rapidly changing ICT industry environment. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the impacts of the CEO's transformational leadership (referred to as "TL") on the organizational members' innovative/organizational citizenship behavior("IB/OCB") in the domestic ICT businesses. For this, this study conducted an on-line survey with the employees of businesses that belonged to the ICT industry, and received 417 valid responses. The analysis results by SPSS & Amos showed that the ICT business CEO's TL had a significantly positive impact on the members' self-efficacy; the members' self-efficacy not only had a positive impact on their own IB/OCB, but also had a mediating roles in the relationship between CEO's TL and IB/OCB. The Results indicated that the TL should be a CEO's core competency to arouse the members' IB/OCB through members' self-efficacy in the ICT industry.

  • Social individualized broadcasting increases rapidly in an environment that combines communication and broadcasting. Real-time individualized broadcasting is a service that is provided by multiple individuals to many and unspecified persons. In contrast, newly introduced individualized broadcasting service is a service that has not been experienced socially and culturally and therefore many problems are expected. The newly emerging real-time individualized broadcasting service may bring about various dysfunctions as well as desirable functions. Establishment of guideline and its implementation based in vulnerability analysis are necessary to prevent the expected dysfunctions and reinforce the desirable functions. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine dysfunctions of the information-oriented society which threaten cyber-norms, cyber-morality, cyber-dangers, cyber-democracy, etc. at the level of social individualized broadcasting service and to propose appropriate guidelines. Through this paper, first, future changes of dysfunctions of the information-oriented society due to individualized broadcasting service can be forecast, and countermeasures and policy directions can be proposed. Second, Dysfunctions of ICT-based service that may emerge in individualized broadcasting service can be forecast and correct guideline can be prepared to reduce potential dangers and increase desirable functions of the service. This paper will analyze in various aspects the characteristics of a new media with the focus on individualized broadcasting service among the new ICT-integrated services, and forecast the appearance and aggravation of the dysfunctions and then draw the guideline.

Design and Development of Underwater Drone for Fish Farm Growth Environment Management (양식장 생육 환경관리를 위한 수중 드론 설계 및 개발)

  • With the growing importance of the fishery industry and the rapid growth of the aquaculture industry, research on smart farms through ICT convergence in the aquaculture field is in progress. To enable monitoring of the growing environment at the farm site, an underwater drone drive unit, an image collection device, an integrated controller for posture stabilization, and a remote control device capable of controlling and controlling drones through real-time underwater images were proposed, and design, development, and tests were conducted. By utilizing underwater drones, it is possible to replace the supply and demand of manpower and high-cost work in the aquaculture industry, and to manage fish farms in a stable manner by reducing the probability of farming deaths.

Location-based smart hard hat for deforestation workers (산림 벌목 작업자간 측위 기반 스마트 안전모)

  • In high-risk workplaces where communication is not possible, such as deforestation, it is necessary to use equipment that monitors the worker's situation in real time and obtains information according to the worker's location in case of an emergency. This paper analyzes the development and demonstration experiments of smart hard hats for deforestation workers to maintain a safe working environment. The developed smart helmet identifies the location of the worker based on the UWB signal for location estimation, and it is necessary to keep the distance between the workers not too close. UWB, Gyro, and LoRa are used to communicate even in the communication shadow area. It is used to provide a safe working environment such as improved construction to reduce worker risks and risks in forest working environments.

Remote Multi-control Smart Farm with Deep Learning Growth Diagnosis Function

  • Currently, the problem of food shortage is emerging in our society due to climate problems and an increase population in the world. As a solution to this problem, we propose a multi-remote control smart farm that combines artificial intelligence (AI) and information and communication technology (ICT) technologies. The proposed smart farm integrates ICT technology to remotely control and manage crops without restrictions in space and time, and to multi-control the growing environment of crops. In addition, using Arduino and deep-learning technology, a smart farm capable of multiple control through a smart-phone application (APP) was proposed, and Ai technology with various data securing and diagnosis functions while observing crop growth in real-time was included. Various sensors in the smart farm are controlled by using the Arduino, and the data values of the sensors are stored in the built database, so that the user can check the stored data with the APP. For multiple control for multiple crops, each LED, COOLING FAN, and WATER PUMP for two or more growing environments were applied so that the user could control it conveniently. And by implementing an APP that diagnoses the growth stage through the Tensor-Flow framework using deep-learning technology, we developed an application that helps users to easily diagnose the growth status of the current crop.
