  • With the development of information and communications technology (ICT) and big data technology, anyone can easily obtain and utilize vast amounts of data through the Internet. Therefore, the capability of selecting high-quality data from a large amount of information is becoming more important than the capability of just collecting them. This trend continues in academia; literature reviews, such as systematic and non-systematic reviews, have been conducted in various research fields to construct a healthy knowledge structure by selecting high-quality research from accumulated research materials. Meanwhile, after the COVID-19 pandemic, remote healthcare services, which have not been agreed upon, are allowed to a limited extent, and new healthcare services such as health recommender systems (HRS) equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies are in the spotlight. Although, in practice, HRS are considered one of the most important technologies to lead the future healthcare industry, literature review on HRS is relatively rare compared to other fields. In addition, although HRS are fields of convergence with a strong interdisciplinary nature, prior literature review studies have mainly applied either systematic or non-systematic review methods; hence, there are limitations in analyzing interactions or dynamic relationships with other research fields. Therefore, in this study, the overall network structure of HRS and surrounding research fields were identified using citation network analysis (CNA). Additionally, in this process, in order to address the problem that the latest papers are underestimated in their citation relationships, the GraphSAGE algorithm was applied. As a result, this study identified 'recommender system', 'wireless & IoT', 'computer vision', and 'text mining' as increasingly important research fields related to HRS research, and confirmed that 'personalization' and 'privacy' are emerging issues in HRS research. The study findings would provide both academic and practical insights into identifying the structure of the HRS research community, examining related research trends, and designing future HRS research directions.

  • This paper has suggested the necessity of introducing training contents using XR(Extended reality) technology as a way to lower the high rate of nursing accidents among unskilled technical personnel in domestic shipbuilding industry, focusing on cable pulling using winch. The occurrence rate of nursing accidents in the domestic shipbuilding industry was almost double(197.4%) (2017~2020) when compared with other manufacturing industries. In particular, it is worth noting that more than 31.8% of nursing accidents in the shipbuilding industry occurred among workers whose job experience is no more than 6 months. Most of new workers are seen to have hard time due to several factors such as lack of work information, inexperience, and unfamiliarity with the working environments. This indicates that it is essential to incorporate more effective training method that could help new workers become familiar with technical skills as well as working environments in a short period of time. Currently, education/training at the domestic shipyard is biased toward technical skills such as welding, painting, machine installation, and electrical installation. Contrary, even more important training required to get new workers used to the working environment has remained at a superficial level such as explaining ship building processes using 2D drawings. This may be the reason why it is inevitable to repeat similar training at OJT (On-the-Job Training) even at the leading domestic companies. Domestic shipbuilding industries have been attracting a lot of new workers thanks to recent economic recovery, which is very likely to increase the occurrence of disasters. In this paper, the introduction of training using XR technology was proposed, and as a specific example, the process of pulling cables using winches on ships was implemented as XR-based training content by using Unity. Using the developed content, it demonstrated that new workers can experience the actual work process in advance through simulation in a virtual space, thereby becoming more effective training content that can help new workers become familiar with the work environment.

Factors Influencing Entrepreneurial Intention of Korean and Chinese College Students and Differences Between Countries: Focusing on Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy, Social Support, and Government Support Policy (한국과 중국 대학생들의 창업의도 영향요인과 국가 간 차이: 창업효능감, 사회적 지지 및 정부지원정책을 중심으로)

  • This study investigated the effects of individual characteristics (entrepreneurial self-efficacy) and environmental characteristics (social support, government support policy) on entrepreneurial intention for college students in Korea and China. In particular, the moderating effect of differences between countries (Korea and China) was demonstrated in the relationship between individual and environmental characteristics and entrepreneurial intention. The results of the empirical analysis of 626 Korean and Chinese university students are as follows. First, all of the entrepreneurial self-efficacy, social support, and government support policies perceived by Korean college students had a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. In particular, Korean college students' entrepreneurial intentions were influenced in the order of social support, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and government support policies. Second, all of the entrepreneurial self-efficacy, social support, and government support policies perceived by Chinese college students had a positive effect on start-up intention. In particular, entrepreneurial intention of Chinese college students was influenced in the order of government support policy, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and social support. Third, the relationship between environmental characteristics (social support, government support policy) and entrepreneurial intention was adjusted by differences between countries. First, the positive relationship between social support and entrepreneurial intention was generally higher for Chinese college students than for Korean college students. In addition, the positive relationship between government support policy and entrepreneurial intention was higher for Chinese college students than for Korean college students as the level of awareness of government support policy increased. Finally, theoretical and practical implications for the intention of Korean and Chinese college students to start a business were presented, and the limitations of the study and future research directions were presented based on this study.

  • Digital transformation, actively progressing in various fields, is also being applied to the education sector, bringing positive changes in many schools and education settings. However, despite continued discussions and efforts, the pace of digital transformation in Korean education has been very slow. In contrast, countries showing smooth digital transformation processes are successfully digitalizing their educational environments through continuous research, technology development, and implementation efforts. This paper aims to study international cases of successful digital transformation in the education sector and explore best applicable solutions for digital transformation in the domestic education field. The study classifies case studies into government-led and private-led initiatives based on the main drivers of digital transformation in education, considering solutions that take into account Korea's educational structure and environment. The key insights derived from the cases are as follows. First, the government-led digital transformation in domestic education lacks sustainability and consistency in its policies, overly focusing on infrastructure development. There is a need to concentrate more on the development of diverse digital transformation technologies and high-quality content. Second, countries that have successfully implemented government-led digital transformation operate excellent online integrated learning platforms that provide new technologies and digital content. It is necessary for the government to consider the development and operation of such platforms. Third, there is a need to open up the public education that is mainly led and controlled by government to the private sector further through the support of education-related venture companies and startups, while also enhancing the autonomy of individual local schools. This would facilitate technological advancement and a swift digital transformation in education through the activation of the edutech market. This research, based on the analysis of international cases, contributes to establishing the direction of digital transformation policies in Korean education and provides effective solutions for more successful implementation.
