  • 연료전지차 및 하이브리드차용 전기구동시스템의 냉각성능은 차량의 동력성능을 보장하기 위한 중요한 요소이다. 각 단품의 성능 확보를 위해 냉각수를 허용 온도 이하로 관리해야 하며 이때 라디에이터 방열량과 냉각수 유량이 중요 변수가 된다. 본 논문에서는 현대자동차 연료전지차량의 모터, 인버터를 포함한 100kW 전기구동시스템의 최적 냉각 설계를 위하여 차량주행모드에 따른 전기동력부품의 발열량을 이론적으로 산출하고, 시험을 통하여 냉각시스템의 성능을 검증하였다.

디젤 매연 필터에서 퇴적되는 입자상 물질의 퇴적량 예측 (Prediction of Particulate Matter Being Accumulated in a Diesel Particulate Filter)

  • Diesel particulate filter (DPF) has been developed to optimize engine out emission, especially particulate matter (PM). One of the main important factors for developing the DPF is estimation of soot mass being accumulated inside the DPF. Evaluation of pressure drop over the DPF is a simple way to estimate the accumulated soot mass but its accuracy is known to be limited to certain vehicle operating conditions. The method to compensate drawback is adoption of integrating time history of the engine out PM and burning soot. Present study demonstrates current status of the soot estimation methods including the results from the engine test benches and vehicles.

자동차용 대전류 단자 압착 최적화 기법 개발 (Development of optimizing method to crimp high current terminal for wiring harness in vehicle)

  • 차량 전장품 중 와이어링 하네스에서 큰 전류가 흐르는 회로의 연결 단자가 가지는 전기적 내구 성능 및 기계적 성능을 확보하기 위하여 단자 압착부의 압축율 최적화 기법을 개발하였다. 우선 단자 제작 과정을 표준화한 후 압착부의 주요 인자인 기계적 인장강도와 내부 부식 정도에 의한 전기적 저항 중대로 화재가 발생 가능성 관점에서 접근하였다. 여러 가지 실험을 통하여 얻어진 DATA를 분석한 결과 회귀 2차 모형을 사용하여 대전류 단자 압착부의 전기적/기계적 내구 성능 최적화 구간을 설정 하였으며, 이의 과정을 제시 하였다.

  • The effect of drawing rate on the electrochemical properties of 3003 Al alloys in 5 wt.% NaCl solution was investigated by electrochemical techniques (potentiodynamic polarization test, potentiostatic polarization test, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)) and surface analyses (OM, SEM, EDS). Four kinds of automotive pipe materials were prepared (raw material, drawing rate = 5, 10, 15%). As the drawing rate of Al alloy tube increased, the pitting corrosion resistance increased due to the enrichment of Al oxides on the surface.

  • Purpose: Taking Tesla Motors as a case study object, this research aims to summarize the management strategy of Tesla Motors through an evaluation of its business models in Korea and China then helps other new energy automobile enterprises in formulating strategic directions in a targeted manner. Research design, data and methodology: Using the case study method, this study conducts in-depth research on the business model of Tesla, a representative enterprise of the new energy automobile industry. This study mainly uses secondary data obtained from the official websites to support our research. Results: With its top-level innovative technology, distinctive marketing model, and extensive strategic model, Tesla holds the largest share of the new energy vehicle market. Local market brands such as BYD and Hyundai-Kia still have a considerable competitive advantage, and there is a need to learn from each other for further development. Conclusions: To adapt to the needs of economic transformation and environmental development, implementing business strategies related to new energy automobile enterprises is a topic worthy of study. Enterprises such as BYD and Hyundai-Kia have unique advantages in their home markets. However, as sustainable development progresses, these advantages will gradually weaken, and further measures are necessary to maintain their competitive advantage.

  • 폴리카보네이트(PC)에서 문제되는, 내충격성에서의 취약한 두께민감성을 보완하고자, PC와 구조적 유사성을 지니며 내충격성에서의 두께민감성은 보완된 폴리에스터카보네이트(PEC)와 PC의 블렌드를 제조하였다. 다양한 조성의 PEC를 합성하여 PC/PEC 블렌드의 $T_g$를 측정한 결과, 카보네이트 구조의 함량이 10 mol% 정도로 적은 경우를 제외한 모든 PEC가 PC와 상용성을 보였으며, 그 중 카보네이트 단위와 방향족 에스터인 아릴레이트 단위의 함량비가 1:1인 PEC5와 PC의 블렌드에 대해 파괴 거동을 고찰한 결과, 3 mm 두께 시편에서는 PEC5의 함량이 증가함에 따라 충격강도가 낮아졌으나, 이보다 두꺼운 6 mm 시편에서는 PEC5 함량이 많은 조성에서 PC와 PEC5 각각 보다 향상된 충격강도 결과가 발견되었다.

Nb 및 Mo 첨가 페라이트계 스테인리스강의 등온 저주기 및 열기계적 피로에 따른 변형거동 (Cyclic Deformation Behaviors under Isothermal and Thermomechanical Fatigue Conditions in Nb and Mo Added 15Cr Ferritic Stainless Steel)

  • This paper deals with cyclic stress and strain responses during isothermal low cycle fatigue (LCF) and thermo-mechanical fatigue (TMF) loadings on Nb and Mo containing 15Cr stainless steel, which is used for exhaust manifolds in automobiles. The test temperatures ($T_{i}$) of the isothermal LCF were 600 and $800^{\circ}C$. The minimum temperature of the TMF test was $100^{\circ}C$ and the maximum temperaures ($T_{p}$) were varied between 500 and $800^{\circ}C$. In both loading conditions, weak cyclic softening is observed at $T_{i}=T_{p}=800^{\circ}C$, but the transition to strong cyclic hardening is completed with the temperature decrease below $T_i=600{\sim}700^{\circ}C$ for LCF and $T_{p}=500{\sim}600^{\circ}C$ for TMF. The stress-strain hysteresis loops in the TMF loading show a significant stress relaxation during compressive (heating) half cycle at $T_{p}>500^{\circ}C$, which develops tensile mean stress during cycling. Due to the stress relaxation, the TMF test sample reveals much lower dislocation density than the isothermally fatigued sample at the same temperature with $T_{p}$. A detailed correlation between fatigue microstructure and cycling deformation behavior is discussed.

일정 열유속 조건의 판형 히터에 의한 해빙과정의 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of the Melting Process of Ice Using Plate Heaters with Constant Heat Flux)

  • One of the cold start problems of a FCV is the freezing of the water in the water tank when a FCV is not in operation and the surrounding temperature drops below $0^{\circ}C$. The ice in the tank should be melted as quickly as possible for a satisfactory operation of fuel cell vehicles. In this study, the melting process for the constant heat fluxes of the plate heaters was numerically calculated in the 2-D model of the tank and plate heaters. The enthalpy method and FVM code was used for this analysis. The changes of the temperature with heat fluxes and the heat transfer area could be investigated. The energy balance error was found to increase with the heat flux. From this numerical analysis, the proper heat flux value and some important design factors relating local overheating and pressurization of the water tank could be examined.
