Identification of the Jiles-Atherton Model Parameters Using Simulated Annealing Method

  • This paper presents a method and the experimental measurement system for the determination of Jiles-Atherton model parameters of the 30ZH120 electrical steel sheet. The paper utilizes Epstein Square devices to proceed with the experiment and measurement on a group of hysteresis loops of some certain transformers which use the 30ZH120 electrical steel sheet under two different lap ways. The approach relies on the simulated annealing optimization method in order to minimize the error between the measured and modeled hysteresis curves and yield the best five Jiles-Atherton model parameters. A convenient program, based on the Simulink platform, that can identify the J-A model parameters automatically from the experimental saturated hysteresis loop which is used to model the nonlinear characteristics of the electrical steel sheet, is developed. Research shows that the simulated annealing optimization method gets satisfactory results.

  • This paper is described BLDC motor in the submarine propulsion system which is asked high power per unit area. This study analyzes the independent 6-phase BLDC motor a specific extended by existing the independent 3-phase BLDC motor and propose forward development direction. Independent 6-phase motor has a characteristics that phases of stator are independent electrically with each other and two's independence 3-phase BLDC motor are linked with each difference of 60 degree. Six-phase BLDC motor is simulated with Matlab-simulink, the simulation result has a high current and low torque pulsation than existent independence 3-phase BLDC motor.

  • This paper presents a digitally speed sensorless control system for induction motor with direct torque control (DTC). The drive is based on Mode1 Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) using state observer as a reference model fat flux estimation. The system are closed loop stator flux and torque observer for wide speed range that inputs are currents and voltages sensing of motor terminal, model reference adaptive control (MRAS) with rotor flux linkages for the speed turning aignal at low speed range, two hysteresis controllers. The Proposed system is verified through simulation.

  • In this paper, a performance evaluation of different current regulators for induction motor drive systems fed by IGBT inverter is presented. The twoparts of current regulation are considered : current error compensation part, voltage modulation part. The characteristics of hysteresis, synchronous PI, decoupled PI, predictive, deadbeat and stage feedback controllers are analyzed and the steady-state performances and transient responses of current regulation are well compared through the simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, a direct torque control method of an induction motor is proposed which enables constant switching frequency. The switching strategy of a conventional direct torque control scheme which is based on hysteresis comparator results in a variable switching frequency which depends on the speed, flux, stator voltage and hysteresis band of the comparator. This paper proposes a new switching strategy which determine the effective switching time on each switching period by comparing the ascending and descending torque slopes. The simulation results are presented to verify this proposed scheme.

  • The delta modulation used for controlling the speed of an induction motor has high peak of harmonic spectrum at low speed range causing acoustic noises in the induction motor. This paper proposes to suppress the harmonics by synchronizing the reference signal with the hysteresis windows for controlling the distribution of the switching frequency. As a result we can decrease the peak of harmonic spectrum. The simulation results show that the peak spectrum of harmonics can be reduced up to 60%.

  • This paper presents an improved direct torque control based on artificial neural networks technique. The major problem that is usually associated with DTC drive is the high torque(speed) ripple. To overcome this problem a torque hysteresis band with variable amplitude is proposed based on artificial neural networks. The artificial neural networks proposed controller is shown to be able to reducing the torque(speed) ripple and dependency on motor parameter and to improve performance DTC especially at high speed and reversal running.

  • This paper deals with the loss analysis and efficiency evaluations in a synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) using a coupled transient finite element method (FEM) and Preisach modeling, which is presented to analyze the characteristics under the effect of saturation and hysteresis loss. The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation relative to hysteresis loss, copper loss, etc. on the basis of speed, load condition in a SynRM. Computer simulation and experimental result for the efficiency using dynamometer show the propriety of the proposed method.

  • Ultrasonic motors(USM) has been emerging as one type actuators, which possess many advantages such as high torque, low weight, compact size and no magnetic field generation. In spite of these features, there are several problems to be solved, which are temperature rise in case of long term operation, non -linearity, and hysteresis. Among these, hysteresis cause the most serious problem in force/torque control applications. To cope with this paper we propose a new PWM driving method which can be applied to force/torque control applications. To cope with this problem, in this paper we propose a new PWM driving method which can applied to force/torque control of USM. To verify the proposed method, an experimental setup was built and several experiments were performed.
