한국형 스케일링두려움 측정도구 개발(KSF-1.1) (Development of measurement scale for Korean scaling fear-1.1)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for Korean Scaling Fear (KSF)-1.1 in scaling patients. Methods : 402 sample size for scaling patients was studied in Daegu city in July and August of 2011. Mean and standard deviation was calculated in 3 dimensions(FWS: fear while scaling, DDH: distrust on dental hygienist, FAS: fear after scaling). Results : Age of 402 subjects was 36.5 years. In analyzing reliability for item-level, a range of correlation coefficient(${\alpha}$) on item-internal consistency(FWS, DDH, and FAS) was 0.58~0.88(${\alpha}$=0.90), 0.40~0.71(${\alpha}$=0.82), and 0.54~0.63(${\alpha}$=0.82), respectively. Floor(%) and ceiling(%) value on 3 dimensions were also 9.2% and 4.0%, 12.4% and 0.5%, and 17.7% and 1.2%, respectively, therefore, we found statistically high reliability for those(p<0.001). With explanatory factor analysis, this study could generate 3 dimensions(factor 1, eigenvalue 5.41, proportion 0.49; factor 2, eigenvalue 1.50, proportion 0.14; factor 3, eigenvalue 1.04, proportion 0.09) and 11 sub-scales. Also confirmatory factor analysis results showed that the KSF1.1 model was fitted very well in analysis of model fit($x^2$=112.94, df=41, p=0.000; goodness of fit index=0.95; adjusted goodness of fit index=0.92; root mean square residual=0.057). Conclusions : In conclusion, The findings of this study showed that developed reliable and valid instrument for measuring the KSF1.1 in the scaling patients.

앤더슨 모형을 적용한 일부 성인의 치과 의료이용 행태에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Dental Service Utilization of Adult: An Application of the Andersen Model)

  • 본 연구는 수도권 일부지역의 성인을 대상으로 치과 의료이용에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 수행하였다. 앤더슨 모형을 기반으로 하는 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2013년 5월 7일부터 6월 20일까지 실시하였으며 SPSS 통계 Package version 20.0을 사용하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 대상자의 51.7%는 여성이며, 남성은 48.3%이다. 연령은 만 18세 이상 29세 미만 31.2%, 30대 31.1%, 40대 24.5%, 50세 이상 64세까지는 13%이다. 지난 1년간 치과 의료이용을 한 응답은 57.5%이다. 치과 의료이용에 영향을 미치는 특성으로 연령(p<0.001), 지역(p=0.005), 흡연유무(p<0.001), 구강보조용품사용(p<0.001), 건강신념 중 유익성(p=0.004), 자기효능감(p<0.001), 장애성(p=0.028)으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 치과 의료이용여부를 위계적 방법으로 분석한 결과 모델 1, 2에서는 구강보조용품 사용중 치실, 전동칫솔, 치간칫솔 사용이 유의하였으며, 모델3에서는 구강보조용품중 치실, 전동칫솔, 치간칫솔과 더불어 건강신념 중 자기효능감과 장애성이 유의한 결과로 나타났다. 따라서 소인성 요인의 구강보조용품 사용과 필요 요인의 건강신념 자기효능감과 장애성이 치과의료에 영향을 미치므로, 이에 따른 구강 보건교육의 중요성을 강조하며, 치과 의료 이용의 접근성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 고려해야 할 것이다.

경남권 지역 일부 주민들의 구강건강행위 분석 (Analysis for Oral Health Behavior of Some Residents in Gyeongsangnam-do Area)

  • 본 연구는 2011년 10월 1일부터 2012년 3월 30일까지 5개월간 편의로 5개의 지역을 추출하여 부산거주 233명(일반인 132명, 환자 101명), 울산거주 210명(일반인 116명, 환자 94명), 양산거주 112명(일반인 62명, 환자 50명), 창원거주 82명(일반인 42명, 환자 40명), 김해거주 60명(일반인 30명, 환자 30명)을 대상으로 해당 지역 치과병의원에 내원 중인 환자 315명과 일반성인 382명을 포함하여 총 697명을 대상으로, 그들의 구강건강 행태를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 사회인구학적인 변인에 의한 t검정결과로, 성별은 전제, 강화, 구강건강행위, 건강${\cdot}$QOL요인들에, 학력은 전제, 강화, 건강${\cdot}$QOL요인들에, 치아개수는 건강${\cdot}$QOL요인에 대하여 각각 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타났다(p<0.05). 2. 사회인구학적인 변인에 의한 F검정결과로, 나이는 전제, 실현, 건강${\cdot}$QOL요인, 지역구 분은 건강${\cdot}$QOL요인, 경제수준은 강화, 구강건강행위 요인에 대하여 각각 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p<0.05). 3. 구강건강행위를 종속변수로 하는 최적화 척도분석에서는 성별, 전제, 실현, 강화 요인들 이 뚜렷하게 통계적으로 유의하였으며, 설명력은 28,3%로 나타났다. 4. 건강 QOL을 종속변수로 하는 최적화 척도분석에서는 연령, 치아개수, 실현, 구강건강 행위 요인들이 뚜렷하게 통계적으로 유의하였으며, 설명력은 17.9%로 나타났다.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 윤리의식에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Connected Factors of Ethical Perception in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과에 재학중인 학생들의 윤리의식에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하여 윤리교육의 기초자료로 활용하고자 개별자기기입법에 의한 설문을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 기초윤리 의식수준에 연관된 변수는 치과윤리교육필요성인지, 임상실습경험, 직업윤리교육경험이었다. 치과윤리교육필요성을 인지한 학생들이 기초윤리 의식수준이 높았고, 임상실습경험과 직업윤리교육경험이 있는 학생들이 기초윤리에 관한 의식수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2. 면허법규 의식수준은 치과위생사윤리강령개정을 알고 있는 학생일수록, 치과윤리교육필요성을 인지하고 있는 학생일수록 면허법규에 관한 의식수준이 높았다. 3. 전문가윤리 의식수준에 연관된 변수는 치과위생사윤리강령 개정인지, 치과윤리교육필요성인지, 윤리 의식을 배우는 역할모델이었다. 가장 큰 영향을 미친 변수는 치과위생사 윤리강령개정이었다. 4. 의사결정 의식수준은 치과윤리교육필요성을 인지하고 있는 학생일수록, 치과위생사윤리강령개정을 인지하고 있는 학생일수록, 임상실습경험이 있는 학생일수록, 윤리의식을 배우는 역할모델이 교회라고 응답한 학생일수록 의사결정에 관한 의식수준이 높았다. 5. 팀웍에 관한 의식수준은 치과위생사윤리강령개정인지와 치과윤리교육필요성인지이었다. 치과위생사윤리강령개정을 인지하고 있는 학생일수록, 치과윤리교육필요성을 인지하고 있는 학생일수록 팀웍에 관한 의식수준이 높았다. 6. 치과위생사윤리강령개정에 대해 모르고 있다고 응답한 학생은 88.4%이었고, 치과위생사 윤리강령개정을 알고 있는 학생의 전문가윤리 의식수준이 $3.44{\pm}0.23$으로 높았다 (p=0.000).

충남 일부지역 요양기관과 재가 노인들의 구강보건에 관한 연구 (Oral health of the elderly people receiving nursing care and home care serivces in Chungnam)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the oral health of the elderly people receiving nursing care and home care services in Chungnam. Methods: The subjects were 350 elderly people receiving 21 nursing care and home care services in Chungnam. The direct interview with the elderly people and oral examination was carried out from July, 2012 to December, 2013 after explanation fo the purpose of the study. The subjects consisted of 178 elderly people receiving nursing care services and 172 elderly people receiving home care services. Except incomplete answers, 315 data were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, characteristics by facility, oral condition, oral care behavior, correlation by factors on oral health, influencing factor on dental caries, influencing factor on periodontal disease, and influencing factor on elasticity of gingival muscle. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, chi-square test, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 program. Results: Multivariate analysis of influencing factors on oral health revealed that the elderly people with low education level tended to have higher incidence rate of dental caries. The influencing factors on oral health were the elasticity of gingival muscle, periodontal disease, educational level, and economic level. (p<0.05). The explanation power was 26.2%. Conclusions: Oral Health Promotion should be obligatorily established as one of the medical system and medical fee system to promote oral health condition for the aged.

치과위생사의 자기효능감과 직무만족이 조직몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of self-efficacy and job satisfaction of Dental Hygienists' on the organizational commitment and turnover intention)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify relationships between turnover intention and variable factors among dental hygienists. Methods : Each factor of validity and reliability were investigated using factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. The hypothesis of the data was proven and analyzed using the pearson correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results : The independent variables were based on self-efficacy, the dependent variables were based on job satisfaction. The results of the regression analysis were that self-efficacy is as high as job satisfaction. Independent variables based on self-efficacy and job satisfaction. The dependent variable is organizational commitment multiple regression analysis was used. The results showed that self-efficacy and job satisfaction are as high as organizational commitment. Independent variables based on organizational commitment. The dependent variable is the turnover-intention. Simple regression analysis showed that organizational commitment is as low as turnover-intention. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are different depending on individual traits and personal characteristics. Self-efficacy has been shown to have a positive relationship with job experiences, public work and turnover intention. Organizational commitment is also related with job experiences. However, there was no significant difference between job satisfaction, turnover intention and personal characteristics. Conclusions : According to the factor analysis of turnover intention, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention were correlated to each other. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment has a negative association with turnover intention.

Nuclear Factor I-C 과발현과 발현억제가 MDPC-23 상아모세포주의 상아질 기질유전자 발현에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Over-expression and Inactivation of Nuclear Factor I-C on the Dentin Matrix Gene Expression of MDPC-23 Odontoblasts)

  • 본 연구는 상아모세포의 분화와 상아질 형성과정에서 필수적인 인자로 알려진 NFI-C가 상아모세포 기질단백질의 발현에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여, MDPC-23 상아모세포에 NFI-C 유전자를 과발현 시키거나 발현억제시킨 후 상아질 기질단백질 유전자들의 발현을 RT-PCR로 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. MDPC-23 세포에서 NFI-C mRNA는 NFI-C 과발현후에 현저히 증가하였으며, NFI-C 발현억제 후에는 감소하였다. 2. NFI-C가 과발현된 MDPC-23 세포는 NFI-C 단백질이 핵과 세포질에서 뚜렷이 관찰되었으나, NFI-C 발현이 억제된 MDPC-23 세포에서는 NFI-C 단백질의 발현이 대조군에 비하여 현저히 감소하였다. 3. NFI-C 발현이 억제된 MDPC-23 세포는 대조군에 비하여 I형 아교질, OC, 및 DSPP mRNA의 발현은 감소하였으나 BSP의 발현은 증가하였다. ALP와 DMP4의 발현은 NFI-C 발현억제 후에도 변화가 없었다. 4. NFI-C가 과발현된 MDPC-23 세포에서는 ALP와 DMP4 mRNA의 발현은 대조군에 비하여 증가하였으며 I형 아교질, OC, DSPP, 및 BSP의 발현은 감소하였다.

직장 내 괴롭힘에 관한 치과위생사의 인지도 조사 (A study on perception of workplace bullying in the dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of workplace bullying in the dental hygienists to use them as basic data for improving the organizational relationship of the dental hygienists. Methods: The subjects were 302 dental hygienists that had been working at the dental clinics and dental hospitals. These data were analyzed by SPSS Version 20.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). Factor analysis was used for exploratory and confirmatory data. Independent t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to find out mean differences for verbal violence, improper business, and improper work environment according to characteristics of subjects. Results: Upon the study results, there were statistically significant differences between the verbal violence and working patterns according to the mean differences of the subfactors on subject's characteristics. Also, there were statistically significant differences between the improper work environment and all of subject's characteristics. However, there was no statistically significant differences in the improper business. The factor analysis showed that the Workplace Bullying of the dental hygienists was composed of three elements, namely 'verbal violence', 'improper business,' and 'improper work environment.' The validity of the model examined by a confirmatory factor analysis satisfied most of the relevant requirements. The Cronbach's aplha shows a good reliability. Conclusions: In conclusion, it was proven that dental hygienist's Workplace Bullying measurement tool had high validity and reliability. Furthermore, this study can be used to improve dental hygienists' organizational relationship. Therefore, by identifying the recognition of the dental hygienists, this study can contribute to affect a positive influence in the dental hospitals.

치과위생사용 단축형 주관적 경력성공 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도 (Validity and reliability of simplified subjective career success inventory for dental hygienist)

  • Objectives: Recently, subjective career success has been used as a criterion for evaluating career success. The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a simplified subjective career success inventory for dental hygienists. Methods: Subfactors of the subjective career success inventory consisted of career satisfaction, employability, and job satisfaction. The validity and reliability of the existing tools were evaluated through the basic items composition, content validity index (CVI), preliminary survey, and main survey process according to dental hygienists. The preliminary survey was composed of 35 questions by verifying the content validity twice from the existing 63 questions, and the main survey was conducted with a total of 12 questions. Samples were conveniently extracted from dental hygienists with a clinical career of ≥3 years and surveyed online from March 12, 2020 to June 30, 2020. Data of 320 people were collected, of which 284 were finally analyzed. The validity and reliability were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 (p<0.05). Results: The subjective career success was a shortened inventory composed of nine questions, and the overall reliability was Cronbach's α=0.841. Using exploratory factor analysis, three factors were extracted. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, each measurement variable significantly explained the latent factor, and the fit of the model was appropriate. The fit of the model was appropriate for the structural equation model. Among the sub-factors of subjective career success, career satisfaction and job satisfaction had a significant effect on intention to stay (p<0.05). Conclusions: The simplified subjective career success inventory developed for dental hygienists was found was found to be a useful tool in terms of reliability and validity.

치위생과 학생의 긍정심리자본에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors influencing positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to explore ways to improve the level of positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students. After comparing the levels of positive psychological capital, social support, and emotional regulation ability of dental hygiene students and identifying correlations, the sub-factors of social support and emotional regulation ability that affect positive psychological capital were identified. Methods: A survey of 70 questions was conducted targeting 310 dental hygiene students in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do. The results were subjected to exploratory factor analysis, frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using the PASW statistics 18.0 program. Results: The level of positive psychological capital was high when students had high grades and perceived positive relationships with professors and peers (p<0.001). Factors highly correlated with positive psychological capital include 'self-emotional regulation ability' among 'emotion regulation abilities' (r=0.665, p<0.001), and 'emotional support related to daily life' recognized 'social support' (r=0.635, p<0.001), followed by 'social support' (r=0.602, p<0.001). Factors affecting positive psychological capital include 'self-emotion recognized ability' (β=0.377, p<0.001), 'quality of professor relationship' (β=0.201, p<0.001), and 'emotion control ability'. Among 'social support', 'emotional support related to daily life' (β=0.201, p=0.003) and 'grades' (β=0.159, p<0.001), and among 'social support', 'social-related support' (β=0.149, p=0.016), followed by 'grade' (β=0.076, p=0.043) were identified. Conclusions: To improve the positive psychological capital of dental hygiene students, efforts should be made to improve self-emotion regulation ability, professor relationships, emotional support related to daily life, and social support.
