  • This paper presents the practical pressure control of hydraulic oil-pump system using SR drive for industrial application. In order to get a high performance of pressure dynamics in actual application, a data based PID control scheme is proposed in this paper. The proposed control scheme is verified by the experimental test.

  • This paper proposed a hydraulic pump system that is driven by a variable SR drive. The operating pressure of hydric pump is limited by the pump speed and the mechanical structure. The operating of hydraulic pump is separated as constant pressure and constant flow region. Under fixed speed, the pressure can be controlled as constant value, and then decreased by increasing of pump speed. A 2.2[kW], 12/8-pole SR motor and DSP based digital controller are designed and tested for hydraulic pump system. The test results show that the system has some good features such as high efficiency and high response characteristics.

고압호스 조립체의 가속수명시험에 관한 연구 (Study of the high pressure hose assemblies by accelerated life test)

  • 고압호스 조립체는 건설기계, 선박, 항공기, 산업기계, 공작기계 및 자동차 등의 각종 유압장치에 널리 유압배관으로 사용된다. 이는 유연성이 필요한 부분에 유체동력($P^*Q$)으로 전달해야 함으로서, 고장이 발생할 경우는 유압시스템 전체가 작동이 불가능함으로서 신뢰성이 매우 중요한 부품이다. 가속 수명 시험 데이터는 와이블분포 분석을 통해서 형상 모수를 추종 하였다. 본 시험연구에서는 실제 가속수명시험 조건의 충격압력과 반복 굽힘을 변화시켜 시험시간을 감소시켰다. 가속수명시험 모형은 GLL(generalized linear)모형을 사용하였으며, 충격압력과 반복 굽힘에 대한 가속지수는 각각 6.64와 4.46으로 확인되었다. 또한 시험 결과에 대한 분석결과 형상모수(${\beta}$)는 6.19이며, 실제 사용조건인 35 MPa과 굽힘 반경 R100 mm를 적용하였을 경우 척도모수(${\eta}$)는 $1.035{\times}108$사이클로 확인되었다.

A Study on the Hydraulic Pump/Motor Control in the Flywheel Hybrid Vehicle

  • In this study, a novel hybrid vehicle is proposed. The vehicle has a flywheel-engine hybrid system. Flywheels are more effective as energy charge systems than electric batteries in a respect of output power density. However, transmissions to effectively drive flywheels are very complex systems such as CVTs (Continuously Variable Transmissions). In the proposed hybrid vehicle, Constant Pressure System is employed, which is hydraulic power transmission. Using Constant Pressure Systems, hydraulic CVTs are easily realized with variable displacement pumps/motors. In this paper, firstly, the proposed flywheel hybrid vehicle making use of Constant Pressure System is described. Secondly, fuel consumption characteristics of the flywheel hybrid vehicle are experimentally examined with the stationary test facility, which employs a flywheel as a load emulating vehicle inertia. Finally, the experimental results and discussions are described. Fuel consumption of 26km/L is expected for 10 mode driving schedule with vehicle mass of 1500kg.

축대칭 박판 액압 성형 공정의 유한요소 시뮬레이션 (Finite Element Simulation of Axisymmetric Sheet Hydroforming Processes)

  • A finite element formulation lot the simulation of axisymmetric sheet hydroforming is proposed, and an implicit program is coded. In order to describe normal anisotropy of steel sheet, Hill's non-quadratic yield function (Hill, 1979) is employed. Frictional contacts among sheet surface, rigid tool surface, and flexible hydrostatic pressure are considered using mesh normal vectors based on finite element of the sheet. Applied hydraulic pressure is also considered as a function of forming rate and time and treated as an external loading. The complete set of the governing relations comprising equilibrium and interfacial equations is approximately linearized for Newton-Raphson algorithm. In order to verify the validity of the developed finite element formulation, the axisymmetric bulge test is simulated. Simulation results are compared with other FEM results and experimental measurements and showed good agreements. In axisymmetric hydroforming processes of a disk cover, formability changes are observed according to the hydraulic pressure curve changes.

유압실린더 힘 제어계의 인-프로세스 서보밸브 마모진단에 관한 연구 (In-Process Diagnosis of Servovalve wear in Hydraulic Force Control Systems)

  • An in-process method of diagnosing the spool wear of hydraulic servovalves was explored. The diagnostic method discussed in this paper is for force-control hydraulic servo systems. The key principle used is that pressure sensitivity of a servovalve drops as the valve spool wears out so that it is possible to determine the spool condition by monitoring pressure sensitivity. A diagnostic algorithm was developed and evaluated through numerical simulation and experiments. Two major steps of diagnosis are the evaluation of null bias of the servovalve and the approximation of pressure sensitivity, both of which could be successfully done during normal operation of a servo system. The difference between a new servovalve and a worn valve could be clearly detected in-process, and the diagnostic test was found to be repeatable.

  • 유압호스는 건설기계, 자동차, 항공기 등 각종 기계의 유압장치에서 동력을 전달하기 위한 배관으로 사용된다. 산업의 전분야에서 에너지를 전달하기 위한 배관의 한 종류로서 진동이나 충격 등으로부터 시스템을 보호하는 역할을 한다. 여러 가지 외부 환경 조건으로부터 시스템을 유지하기 위해서는 호스 조립체에서 온도와 압력 등의 외부 환경 조건에 대한 내성을 가지고 있어야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 호스 조립체에 대해 온도 또는 압력 중 한 가지 인자를 고려한 가속모형을 제시한 연구는 있었지만 두 가지 인자를 동시에 고려한 가속모형은 제시하지는 못하였으므로, 호스 조립체의 압력과 온도를 모두 고려한 복합가속 모형식을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

  • An applying Thermodynamic method for the purpose of measuring hydraulic efficiency of pump-motor system, based on IEC60041 code, is not easy to adopt at field test. Even though there were splendid development in measuring technic in discharge measuring through the hydraulic machina lots of unsolved problems concerned in flow-rate are still remain in measuring hydraulic efficiency in hydraulic machine. The key point in measuring hydraulic efficiency is to measure exact flow-rate. So, Thermodynamic methode provides a good solution. This methode measures hydraulic efficiency by detecting the difference of temperature and pressure between the hydraulic process of machine, without measuring flow-rate of pump or turbine. By measuring temperature in mk level and absolute pressure in pascal, we can get a difference of thermodynamic specific energy in Moliere chart before and after of hydraulic process, md that difference is equal to hydraulic loses. Following the standard in proceeding Thermodynamic methode, I hope these trial and records make others be familiar to the thermal methode and make it easer to beginner for trial.

킥모터 FM 규격 연소관에 대한 강성저하 평가 및 파열압력 측정 (Evaluation of Structural Stiffness Degradation and Burst Pressure Measurement of the FM Kick-Motor Combustion Case)

  • 필라멘트 와인딩으로 제작된 고체 모터 연소관의 구조강성저하 평가 및 파열특성을 확인하기 위한 수압시험을 수행하였다. 본 연소관의 파손 요구조건으로서 운용 중 최대 예상압력(MEOP)의 1.5배 이상의 압력에서 실린더 파손이 일어나야함을 제시하였다. 해석 결과 연소관의 내부압력이 2088psig 일 때 실린더층의 섬유가 끊어지는 것으로 나타났으며 수압시험을 수행하여 2200psig 수준에서 실린더 부위가 파손됨을 검증하였다. 또한 제작 후 1년 정도 경과 후에도 강성저하가 없음을 알 수 있었다.

수평배수재의 통수특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Discharge Capacity for Horizontal Drains)

  • Discharge capacity test is carried out to find out influencing factors on discharge capacity of prefabricated horizontal drains to improve weak dredged clay. Four representative prefabricated horizontal drains are selected based on the size of drain as well as the shape of core. Test is carried out for 10 days at each three level of confining pressure for all drains. Effects of elapsed time, confining pressure, hydraulic gradient and strength of filter and core on discharge capacities are examined. It is found that discharge capacity of drain, which has deformable core or has a possibility of squeezing filter into core, decreases more with time due to its low strength. As confining pressure increases, discharge capacity decreases due to the squeezing of filter into core.
