4단자 커플러 회로에서의 두 개 단자의 입력 신호 특성에 따른 출력 신호 특성 (Output Signal Characteristics according to Input Signal Characteristics of Two Input Ports in 4-port Coupler Circuit)

  • 4단자 커플러 회로는 입력 단자, 격리 단자와 두 개의 출력 단자로 구성된다. 입력 단자와 격리단자에 신호가 입력하면 입력하는 신호의 세기 및 위상 특성에 의해 두 개의 출력 단자의 출력 신호의 세기와 위상이 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 4단자 커플러 회로인 브랜치라인 하이브리드 커플러와 링-하이브리드 커플러를 이용하여 두 개의 입력 단자의 입력 신호 특성에 따른 출력 신호 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 분석한 신호를 바탕으로 브랜치라인 커플러와 링-하이브리드 커플러의 새로운 이용 방법에 대해 살펴 보았다.

A Parallel Hybrid Soft Switching Converter with Low Circulating Current Losses and a Low Current Ripple

  • A new parallel hybrid soft switching converter with low circulating current losses during the freewheeling state and a low output current ripple is presented in this paper. Two circuit modules are connected in parallel using the interleaved pulse-width modulation scheme to provide more power to the output load and to reduce the output current ripple. Each circuit module includes a three-level converter and a half-bridge converter sharing the same lagging-leg switches. A resonant capacitor is adopted on the primary side of the three-level converter to reduce the circulating current to zero in the freewheeling state. Thus, the high circulating current loss in conventional three-level converters is alleviated. A half-bridge converter is adopted to extend the ZVS range. Therefore, the lagging-leg switches can be turned on under zero voltage switching from light load to full load conditions. The secondary windings of the two converters are connected in series so that the rectified voltage is positive instead of zero during the freewheeling interval. Hence, the output inductance of the three-level converter can be reduced. The circuit configuration, operation principles and circuit characteristics are presented in detail. Experiments based on a 1920W prototype are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed converter.

  • 본 논문에서는 고전압 대용량 응용에 적합한, 하이브리드 cascade 5-레벨 PWM 인버터를 이용한 정지형 무효전력보상기가 제안된다. 또한, 제안된 시스템을 회로 DQ 모델링하고 이로부터 시스템의 중요한 동작특성을 해석하고 각종 관련 식들을 유도한다. 제안된 무효전력보상기는 대용량으로 구성 이 가능하고, 대용량-저주파 스위칭을 하는 GTO와 소용량-고주파 스위칭을 하는 IGBT등 서로 다른 종류의 스위치를 섞어 사용하는 하이브리드 구성의 장점을 가지므로 전력반도체 스위치의 활용도를 극대화 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 정지형 무효전력보상기의 회로구성과 특성이 설명 및 해석되고, 이를 PSIM 회로 시뮬레이션으로 그 동작특성 해석의 타당성을 입증한다.

Fabrication of Organic Photovoltaics Using Transparent Conductive Films Based on Graphene and Metal Grid

  • The characteristics of hybrid conductive films based on multilayer graphene and silver grid have been investigated for the high-performance and flexible organic solar cells. The hybrid conductive films have been prepared on glass and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates using conventional photolithography process and transfer process of graphene. The optical and electrical properties of prepared conductive films show transmittance of 87% at 550nm and sheet resistance of $28{\Omega}/square$. The electromechanical properties were also investigated in detail to confirm the flexibility of the hybrid films. OSCs have been fabricated on the hybrid conductive films based on graphene and silver grid on glass substrate. The power conversion efficiency of 2.38%, a fill factor of 51%, an open circuit voltage of 0.58V and a short circuit current of $8.05mA/cm^2$ were obtained from the device on glass substrate. The PCE was enhanced 11% compared with OSCs on the MLG films without silver grid.

  • In UHF, VHF new design method of samll-sized 3-dB 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ ring hybrid terminated arbitrary impedance using both lumped elements and distributed elements is presented. At the center frequency of 900 MHz, 3-dB 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ ring hybrid terminated arbitrary impedance is designed, analyzed and tested. Good agreements are obtained between measured and theoretical modeling results, and at the same time, the circuit area of hybrid fabricated with two dimensional parallel coupled line, distributed elements and lumped elements is reduced by more than 70% compared with only distribyted-type circuits.

  • A hybrid converter for the on-board charger consisting of a soft switching full bridge (SSFB) and a half bridge (HB) LLC resonant converter is proposed. The proposed topology adopts an additional switch and a diode at the secondary side of SSFB converter to guarantee the wide ZVS range of primary side switches and to eliminate the circulating current. The output voltage is regulated by controlling the duty cycle of secondary side switch. The effectiveness of the proposed converter was experimentally verified using a 10-kW prototype circuit. The experimental results show 96.8% peak efficiency.

  • Interruption of AC is easier due to natural occuring of zero crossings. In DC, zero crossings is achieved by Forced commutation technique. In this paper an alternative counter voltage(ACV) DC Hybrid Circuit breaker(DC-HCB) is modeled using EMTP/ATP tool, Results show that, ACV DC-HCB can interrupt DC with in 5ms with a source voltage of upto 1 KV.

  • This paper describes a fuzzy network circuit of analogue and digital mixed operation. The circuits are suggested for membership function, MIN function and normalization function using either linear voltage-controlled MOSFET resistance or pulse stream operation. The analogue-digital hybrid fuzzy hardware is extensible to the fuzzy-neural network as its basic configurations are already used in URAN-I of 135,424 synaptic connections.
