Over the last half-century, computer science has revolutionarily changed the landscape of humanities research. This digital shift in research methodology has reached from the brainstorming process to preserving, constructing, collecting, visualizing, and even analyzing materials. Such transformation has brought about the birth of the new field of study: Digital Humanities (DH). DH undeniably has saved much of the physical chores and provided a new angle to interpret the text, thereby making its meteoric rise as a promising future of the humanities. Based on such innovation, electronic circuitry can seem to replace the imagination that detects relationships and significances of research data with ever-improving interfaces. However, despite hitherto technological development, the thousands-year-old essence of traditional liberal arts-human creativity-remains the heart of humanities research and always will. This paper starts by proving this proposition in the way of comparing the old and new liberal arts research methods, focusing on literary studies. Meanwhile, it thoroughly investigates how digitalized bibliographies, search engines, databases, and digital projects provide the most useful data preservation and virtual experience of browsing in the library, along with their limitations due to the intrinsic quality of humanities research data. Also, it probes the differences between traditional and digital data analysis in current methods of literary studies, ultimately presenting the ideal direction for humanities development in the era of digital convergence.

본 연구는 지역 인문학 생태계 조사와 지역 인문학 활용에 대한 조사를 하였다. 이를 통해 지역민들을 위한 인문학 생태계 활성화 방안에 대해 제시하였다. 연구내용으로 첫째, 지역 인문학 지원방안은 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 둘째, 지역 인문학 발전을 위한 연구인력 활용사업 방안을 찾고자 하였고 셋째, 지역 인문학 생태계 발전 연구인력 양성 방안을 연구하였다. 넷째, 지역 인문학 발전을 위한 일자리 창출 방안에 대한 내용을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석은 지역만의 고유한 문화와 특수함이 부여된 지역 인문학 생태계 연구 활성화를 위한 지원방안을 확립하는 데 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 인문학 분야 연구데이터와 연구논문을 연계할 수 있는 '인문학 분야 연구데이터를 위한 연구논문 의미구조 기반 메타데이터'를 개발하는 것이다. 인문학 분야 연구자의 관심 정보를 파악하기 위해 키워드 유형화를 진행하고 이를 일반적인 연구논문의 의미구조를 기준으로 분석함으로써 인문학 분야의 특성을 반영하기 위해 추가될 요소를 확인하였다. 이를 기반으로 인문학 분야 연구논문의 의미구조 기반 메타데이터를 구성하였으며 해당 메타데이터가 인문학 분야 연구데이터의 메타데이터로서 적합한지를 평가하기 위하여 인문학 분야 연구자를 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 인문학 분야 연구논문의 의미구조를 기반으로 도출된 17개의 메타데이터 요소 중 인문학 분야 연구데이터 메타데이터로 활용하기에 적합하다고 판단된 요소는 7개이며, 그 외 10개 요소는 사용 가능한 요소로 확인되었다. 평가 결과를 바탕으로 인문학 분야 연구데이터를 위한 연구논문 의미구조기반 메타데이터를 구성하였다.

이 논문은 IT 인문학 관련 연구의 동향을 탐색함으로써 IT 인문학이 어떤 개념으로 활용되고 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 디지털 과학기술 IT과 인문학 조합의 가능성에 주목하여 꾸준히 수행되어온 국내외의 문헌을 통해, IT 인문학의 기원과 배경, 유사 개념을 바탕으로 연구 동향을 알아보고 IT 인문학의 의미에 대해서 고찰하였다. 그리고 'IT 인문학' 및 'IT humanities' 검색어를 활용하여, 2001년 이후 발간 된 학술논문 중 주제어 정보를 제공하는 KCI급 1,566편, SCI급 64편을 대상으로 주제어의 네트워크 토픽 분석을 실시하였다. IT 인문학이라는 용어가 등장한 논문에서의 IT 인문학의 의미는 다양한 분야의 IT 정보기술이 인문학의 관점에서 생각할 수 있는 역량과 관련이 있었다. 토픽모델링 결과는 IT 인문학과 융합하는 분야 대상, 적용되는 형태, 문학·문화와의 연관, IT 인문학의 창출의 네 가지 군집으로 형성되었다. IT와 인문학의 융합은 한 쪽이 다른 한쪽을 도구화하거나 일방적으로 수렴하는 구조가 아닌, 상호 존중에 기초한 협업의 자세로 새로운 사유를 창출하도록 해야할 것이다.

This study has the aim of developing an evaluation index that can help evaluate the reliability of the information resources of institutions retaining humanities assets for the purposes of laying out the foundation for providing one-stop portal service for humanities assets. To this end, the evaluation index was derived through the analysis of previous research, case studies, and interviews with experts, the derived evaluation index was then applied to the humanities assets retaining institutions to verify the utility. The institutional information resources' reliability evaluation index consisted of the two dimensions of the institutions' own reliability evaluation index. The institution provided a service and system evaluation index. The institutions' own reliability evaluation index consisted of 25 points for institutional authority, 25 points for data collection and construction, 30 points for data provision, and 20 points for appropriateness of data, for a total of 100 points, respectively. The institution provided service and system evaluation indexes consisting of 25 points for information quality, 15 points for appropriateness (decency), 15 points for accessibility, 20 points for tangibility, 15 points for form, and 10 points for cooperation, for the total of 100 points, respectively. The derived evaluation index was used to evaluate the utility of 6 institutions representing humanities assets through application. Consequently, the reliability of the information resources retained by the Research Information Service System (RISS) of the Korea Education & Research Information Service (KERIS) turned out to be the highest.

학제 간 융합은 학문의 발전을 위해 서로의 경계를 넘어 상이한 학문 간의 협업 연구를 통해 새롭고 의미 있는 지식을 창출할 수 있다. 최근에는 특히 인문학과 ICT가 융합된 형태인 디지털인문학이 주목받고 있다. 연구방법론 관점에서의 디지털인문학은 인문지식, 인문정보 등을 정보시스템을 활용하여 저장, 검색, 공유, 확산하고 연구를 위한 도구로 사용가능하며, 정보시스템 측면에서의 디지털인 문학은 다양한 시스템 형태로 구축 및 활용되고 있다. 그 중에서 다양한 정보나 지식을 일반적인 텍스트가 아닌 이미지나 멀티미디어, 기타 인터페이스를 활용해 시각화하여 나타내는 정보시각화와 연계된 디지털인문학 시스템에 관한 연구가 활발하다. 본 논문에서는 디지털인문학 기반의 정보시각화 유형 및 사례를 분석한 후에, 인문·지역연구에서의 정보시각화 활용 방안에 대하여 제안한다.

디지털 인문학 시스템은 정보기술을 활용하여 인문정보나 지식을 사용자에게 효율적으로 공유 및 확산하는 방안이다. 또한 인문학을 연구하는 연구자들에게는 새로운 연구방법론으로 주목받고 있다. 디지털 인문학 시스템은 기존의 정보시스템과는 차별화된 성격을 가진다. 따라서 시스템 구축 시 기존의 정보시스템 구축 방법론이 아닌 디지털 인문학 시스템에 특화된 개발 절차와 관련 인력을 구성할 필요가 있다. 최근 연구되는 디지털 인문학 시스템은 절차나 방법론 없이 기존의 정보시스템 구축방법론을 통해 구축되는 경우가 대부분이며 이로 인해 시스템 구축 후 사용성이나 효율성이 떨어져 시스템 운영에 실패하는 사례가 발생한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 정보기술의 관점에서 다양한 전문분야와의 협업을 통해 효과적이고 창조적인 '디지털 인문학 시스템' 개발 방법에 대해 연구한다. 세부적으로 소프트웨어 공학 관점에서의 정보시스템 구축방법론을 기반으로 디지털 인문학 시스템에 특화된 구축 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Amid the increasing interest in medical humanities education, this study developed a medical humanities course that utilized design thinking to foster creative thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills that pre-medical students should possess. The course's efficacy was assessed by evaluating improvements in core design thinking skills. The present study was conducted among 83 first-year medical students after planning and implementing a design thinking course. The reflection journals written by students along the course of the class were examined using the template analysis technique to evaluate the effectiveness of the class. The study's primary findings showed the successful development of step-by-step medical humanities education content utilizing design thinking and its practical implementation in a class. Moreover, the course improved students' core design thinking skills effectively, and in a balanced way. These results illustrate the effective application of design thinking in medical school through a medical humanities course. These findings indicate that a medical humanities course can help medical students showcase their abilities to collaborate and solve problems in the real world. This paper suggests the need for further research to develop a curriculum that integrates design thinking and investigate the relationship between medical students' core competencies and design thinking-based courses.

본 연구는 국내 인문사회 연구데이터 아카이브의 개선방안을 제안하고자 문헌연구를 통해 인문사회 연구데이터의 의의와 데이터 아카이브의 개념 및 요건에 대한 이론적 토대를 마련하였다. 기초학문자료센터(KRM)에 대한 분석과 국내외 총 9개 아카이브에 대한 사례조사를 실시하였으며, 인문사회분야 연구자 총 10명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 국내 인문사회 연구데이터 아카이브의 개선방안으로는 첫째, 한국연구재단(NRF)과 인문사회분야의 사업 영역별 데이터 아카이브의 협력체계 구축을 제안하였다. 둘째, 데이터 큐레이션을 바탕으로 연구데이터의 생애주기에 따라 협력체계에서 역할을 수행하는 인문사회 연구데이터 아카이브의 개념적 모형을 설계하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 디지털 인문학 분야의 국내외 주요 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 비교 분석하는 데 있다. 기존의 디지털 인문학 동향에 관한 연구들은 해외의 주요 연구사례와 국가정책, 발전 방향 등을 검토하는 연구들로, 디지틸 인문학 분야의 세부 연구주제 및 하위 분야를 파악하는 것과는 거리가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 학술 문헌의 계량서지적 분석을 통해 디지털 인문학 분야의 지적 구조를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 Web of Science와 RISS로부터 2020년 3월까지 출판된 디지털 인문학 관련 국내외 학술 문헌을 수집하여 분석에 사용하였다. 이 자료들을 대상으로 구조적 토픽모델을 적용하여 세부 주제들을 살펴보았으며, 이 주제들의 시계열적 추이를 파악하였다. 분석결과, 국내외 공통적으로 인문학 기반의 융합 연구들이 수행되었으며, 주로 사료의 디지털화가 주된 연구의 관심사였다. 국내는 문화콘텐츠와 스토리텔링 관련된 연구주제가 두드러지게 나타났으며, 해외는 디지털화된 자료의 제공 측면에서 문헌정보학 관련 주제들이 주목을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 국내의 디지털 인문학 분야의 연구 공백을 파악하고 연구주제 확장이 가능한 영역들을 제안하였다.
