Objective of this stuey was to find the corrdlation between emotiona changes and the parameters of HRV spectrum evoked by tactile stimualtion. Twenty-one subjects were useds and five different types of materials, dry cottn, wet cotton, paper, sandpaper, and vinyl were applied to the left hand of each subject as a tactile stimulation. The results showed that HF/LF(ratio of high to low frequency amplitude calculated from power spectrum of HRV) decreased as the subject experienced the unpleasant emotion caused by wet cotton and sandpaper. On the othr hand, when the subject experienced the comfort, HF/LF increased. It was concluded that the proprsed methods can be applied to evaluate the characteristic changes in the autonomic nervous system which regulates the human emotion in the psychological aspects.

본 연구에서는 한국인 인체 자료를 바탕으로 감성환경에 적용하기 위한 기계류 안전에 대한 설계 및 측정 자료의 DB를 구축하고 인간공학적으로 평가하였다. 연구 내용은 기계류 안전에 대한 국제 표준 규격(ISO 15534)과 관련된 총 23가지의 인체 치수 자료이다. 유럽인을 모집단으로 하여 측정된 표준 규격에 비해 일치하지 않거나 측정에서 누락된 한국인 자료에 대해 몇몇 가정을 통해 수정함으로써 표준 규격에 상응하는 한국인 인체 자료를 생성시키는 기법을 개발하였다.

지금까지 감성측정은 심박 변화율, 피부저항, 피부온도 등의 생리 신호를 측정하고 그 신호를 이용하여 비교, 분석하여 왔다. 심박 변화율, 피부저항, 피부온도와 마찬가지로 자율신경계 반응의 하나로써 맥파 또한 인간의 감성을 평가하는 한 파라미터가 될 수 있음을 예상하고 본 연구를 수행하였다. 건강한 피험자 5명을 상대로 긍정과 부정 시각 자극을 각각 주어서 심박 변화율과 맥파의 생리신호를 측정한 후 그 동안 발표되었던 심박 변화율의 결과를 기준으로 맥파의 결과와 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과 평균 R-R 간격의 변화율과 맥파의 최고점 평균 시간 간격의 변화율 그리고 맥파의 최대 기울기점 사이의 시간 간격의 변화율이 유사함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 맥파의 Baseline Deflection 과 Amplitude를 이용하여 감성 측정을 시도하였다. 긍정 시각 자극에 비해 부정 시각 자극 일 때 맥파의 최고점 및 최대 기울기점의 평균 시간 간격은 감소하였고, Baseline Deflection은 증가하였고, Amplitude 는 감소하였다. 이는 부정시각 자극이 교감신경계를 활성화시킴을 보여 주는 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 맥파도 자율 신경계의 반응을 대면하는 생리신호로써 감성 측정에 유용한 도구임을 검증할 수 있었다.

Sheet를 이용한 주관적 평가 방법은 자극제시 후 과거의 자극에 대한 감성을 상황을 기억하여 평가하는 것으로 자극제시 순간의 감성을 정확히 대변한다고는 보기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 디지타이저를 이용한 실시간 주관적 감성평가 시스템의 개발에 대하여 논의하였다. 본 시스템은 입력 부분, 감성평가 및 디스플레이 부분의 2부분으로 구성되어 있다. 입력 부분은 A4 size의 펜마우스 입력 방식을 가진 디지타이저를 이용하여 피험자가 직접 자신의 감성을 실시간으로 입력하게 하였고, 괘/불쾌, 긴장/이완의 2차원 감성 평가가 실시간으로 가능하도록 하였다. 감성평가 및 디스플레이부분은 1차원적인 감성 측정 결과와 2차원적인 감성 측정 결과를 모두 실시간으로 제시할 수 있도록 하였다. 특히 본 논문에서는 피험자가 편하고 쉽게 자신의 감성을 표현할 수 있는 입력 board 선택에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 피험자가 자신의 감성을 정확히 인식하였다고 가정을 하고, 여러 가지 입력 board들을 피험자에게 제시했을 때 가장 빠르고 정확하게 자신의 감성을 표현할 수 있는 입력 board를 선택하였고 향후 감성 평가 연구에 적용하고자 한다.

This study investigates the perception of different fabrics by consumers when provided with a video clip with rustling sounds of the fabric. We utilized sportswear products that are currently on the market and evaluated the emotional response of internet shoppers by measuring the physiological and psychological responses. Three kinds of vapor-permeable water-repellent fabric were selected to generate video clips each containing the fabric rustling sound and images of exercise activities wearing the sportswear made of the respective fabric. The new experimental website contained the video clips and was compared with the original website which served as a control. 30 subjects, who had experience to buy clothing online, took part in the physiological and psychological response to the video clip. Electroen-cephalography (EEG) was used to measure the physiological response while the psychological response consisted of evaluating accurate perception of the fabric, satisfaction, and consumer interest. When we offered video clips with fabric's rustling sound on the website, subjects answered they could get more accurate and rapid information to decide to purchase the products than otherwise they do the shopping without such information. However, such rustling sounds somewhat annoy customers, as proved psychological and physiological response. Our study is a critical step in evaluating the consumer's emotional response to sportswear fabric which will promote selling frequency, reduce the return rate and aid development of new sportswear fabric further evolution of the industry.

There are various sounds in the car as much as cats have many mechanical parts. These sounds make various sound qualities. The international competition in car markets has continuously required the research about the sound quality of a car. The domestic carmakers have also invested a lot of money for the research and development of sound quality. Car axle plays an important role in a vehicle and its NVH development is also important. By this time, NVH development of car axle is mainly based on the reduction of sound pressure level(dBA), which cannot gives, the satisfaction to the customers in view of the sound quality of a vehicle. Therefore, in this project, a sound quality index evaluating the sound quality of axle noise based on human sensibility is developed and applied to the development of the sound quality of axle noise

The rise of the machine culture in the last 20th century has rapidly changed the world into a high-tech civilized society but at the same time, it also caused environmental estrangements such as damage in the environment and the loss of humanity in the human society due to materialism. As a reaction to the absence of humanity in such environment, in these modern days design which acts as the product of public art, escaped from the previous physical functional satisfaction and stood out as the culture industry that satisfies human's sensibility. This study is focusing on the method of how such sensitive designs are expressed in the interior space of retail shops and such methods are researched through the image evaluation test conducted to the 10 brands of overseas' jewelery shops. The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning and effects of designs that took consideration of sensibility in a retail shop and to establish efficient marketing strategy using sensitive design and to utilize it into the interior space.

Pictorial Images are often used when persuading someone, since people believe that photographs tell us what happened in reality. This paper aims to strengthen the role of pictorial images as a powerful method of persuasion through interpolating sensibility, which is a key factor in decision making, into the pictorial images. This paper analyses the structure of sensibility in pictorial images, in order to draw out specific factors that arouse positive impression. Furthermore, intensional meanings were given to various factors that compose the sensibility of pictorial images, and the factors are prioritized to enhance applicability. Recognitions of the sensibility in pictorial images differ due to diverse variables, but the photographed subjects themselves and the specific attributes of picture quality are the primary factors that influence the recognition. In order to achieve general and detailed results, broadly selected shooting subjects and images that have various picture quality attributes.

Recently "smart clothing" has been developed more friendly and human centered design. As the diversified studies on physical factors such as comfort, usability, ergonomics and design for wearer have been examined, the smart clothing has been progressed in diverse aspects. In this research, we developed the design prototype of the bio-medical sensor based healthcare smart clothing and efficiency of clothing. As a result of study with developed designed prototypes of qualitative and quantitative tests for wearability and usability, we come up with evaluation items and supplements. In this study, based on result from evaluation on wearability and usability, the design prototype of sensor based healthcare smart clothing was revised.
