This work presents the relationship between the domains of Human Factors Integration(HFI) to develop the weapon systems through integrating human factors into the defense acquisition program. The HFI is a systematic process for identifying, tracking and resolving human related issues ensuring a balanced development of both technologies and human aspects of capability. In this point of view, this paper identifies and analyzes the HFI domains. Based on the results, this paper presents the relationships between the domains of the HFI.

The aim of this study is to propose the design suitable for sustainability evaluation model of the mobile industry considering system process (SEP). Although a quantitative evaluation was conducted on the link between the national sustainability report and the mobile industry, it was confirmed that it was difficult to identify stakeholders. So it is necessary to develop the design process suitable for the more operator-specific interfaces. The Human System Integration (HSI) methodology was proposed through linkage with work domain analysis. Agile methodology and Resilience engineering methodology were added for sustainable model design. The proposed sustainability system evaluation model is applied so that it can be easily used in all industries.

In this paper, we developed not only a reliable sound localization system including a VAD(Voice Activity Detection) component using three microphones but also a face tracking system using a vision camera. Moreover, we proposed a way to integrate three systems in the human-robot interaction to compensate errors in the localization of a speaker and to reject unnecessary speech or noise signals entering from undesired directions effectively. For the purpose of verifying our system's performances, we installed the proposed audio-visual system in a prototype robot, called IROBAA(Intelligent ROBot for Active Audition), and demonstrated how to integrate the audio-visual system.

The development and integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have consistently attracted attention from software engineering researchers. Many studies have examined the factors that influence successful ERP integration, while others have focused on introducing integration models that address issues and challenges that affect the successful integration of ERP. However, it is crucial to recognize that the key player in successful integration is the individual involved. This paper aims to investigate how individuals based on departmental attachments and experiences have viewed the factors that affected the success of ERP integration. A case study was conducted at one large organization namely Umm Al Qura University, Saudi Arabia. Five departments were involved namely: Financial management, purchasing management, warehouse management, human resources management, and the Deanship of Information Technology. The results of 78 participants were collected and analyzed. Furthermore, it was different how individuals from different departments involved in the ERP integration viewed the factors that affected the success of integration. In addition, it was noticed that individuals with different experiences have various views on the factors. Moreover, it was evident that departmental attachments and individual experience might play a role in the successful integration of ERP.

In preparing for the unification of North and South Korea, rather than unilaterally over-writing the North's human resource training system with the South's health care human resource development system, it is important to understand the North's system and its ecology and to achieve a balance by seeking out aspects of each of the systems that could be consolidated with each other. The training period in both the North and South's health care human resource development systems is specified to be 6 years, but there is no system for internships or residencies in the North. South Korea introduced a 6-year system for pharmacist education in 2009, but North Korea has been using such a system since the 1970s (currently 5.5 years). In North Korea, training of health care personnel is conducted at various levels: at universities, at vocational schools, and at institutes for training health officials. Various types of training (daytime training, online, and ad hoc programs) are carried out. Also of interest is the North's licensure examination system. Rather than a state examination system as in South Korea, the North favors a graduation exam given by a national graduation examination committee composed of university professors, which awards both graduation certificates and 'permits,' that is, licenses for doctors and pharmacists. In working out a plan for the integration of the two Koreas' systems based on the study and analysis of the North's educational and testing system for doctors and pharmacists, this paper does not place exclusive focus on the distinctions between the systems or cling to negative views. Rather than claim that unification/integration is a practical impossibility, the paper focuses on the similarities between the two systems and maximizes them to uncover an approach for arriving at solutions. It is hoped that the practical data offered in this paper can contribute to the design of a forward-minded unification/integration model.

SE generally defines approaching ways of conducting identification, verification and integration of an optimized product and process solution to meet customer's needs by leveraging organizational competency in engineering and management. To successfully develop a new product under mass production contract, it is important to efficiently carry out the program by ensuring that three major competencies are secured; core technology, system integration, and program management. For successful implementation of tasks in the three areas, systematic execution is called for, which requires identifying risk factors in advance. In particular, comprehensive risk management role and responsibility is required for program management. Success of a development program is determined by complex elements of human resources, organization culture, and overall competency of an organization in technology and program management, including capability of the program manager. In this paper, a risk management solution is suggested to lead a program to success with a more efficient way through actual risk management by the concept of SE around the above three areas.

Xenie is the JAVA application software that integrates and represents 'gene to function'information of human gene. Xenie extracts data from several heterogeneous molecular biology databases and provides integrated information in human readable and machine usable way. We defined 7 semantic frame classes (Gene, Transcript, Polypeptide, Protein_complex, Isotype, Functional_object, and Cell) as a common schema for storing and integrating gene to function information and relationship. Each of 7 semantic frame classes has data fields that are supposed to store biological data like gene symbol, disease information, cofactors, and inhibitors, etc. By using these semantic classes, Xenie can show how many transcripts and polypeptide has been known and what the function of gene products is in General. In detail, Xenie provides functional information of given human gene in the fields of semantic objects that are storing integrated data from several databases (Brenda, GDB, Genecards, HGMD, HUGO, LocusLink, OMIM, PIR, and SWISS-PROT). Although Xenie provide fully readable form of XML document for human researchers, the main goal of Xenie system is providing integrated data for other bioinformatic application softwares. Technically, Xenie provides two kinds of output format. One is JAVA persistent object, the other is XML document, both of them have been known as the most favorite solution for data exchange. Additionally, UML designs of Xenie and DTD for 7 semantic frame classes are available for easy data binding to other bioinformatic application systems. Hopefully, Xenie's output can provide more detailed and integrated information in several bioinformatic systems like Gene chip, 2D gel, biopathway related systems. Furthermore, through data integration, Xenie can also make a way for other bioiformatic systems to ask 'function based query'that was originally impossible to be answered because of separatly stored data in heterogeneous databases.

수 많은 기업들이 기업 성장 및 생존 전략의 일환으로 인수 합병 (M&A, merger and acquisition)을 선택하고 있다. 그러나 상당수의 기업들이 본래 의도했던 시너지 효과를 창출하지 못하고 인수 합병 실패로 인해 생산성 저하, 시장 점유율 하락, 수익 감소, 유능한 직원의 이직 등 많은 부작용을 경험하고 있다. 이에 따라 인수 합병 성공 및 실패 원인을 분석하고자 하는 많은 연구가 진행되었고, 정보시스템에 대한 기업들의 의존도 증가와 더불어 인수 합병 이후 정보시스템 통합(post-M&A information systems integration)이 인수 합병 성공에 결정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 인수 합병 이후 정보시스템 통합 성공에 대한 연구가 매우 부족하며, 대부분의 선행연구가 정보시스템 조직 통합 또는 물리적인 정보시스템의 통합 등과 같이 단편적으로 이루어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 인수 합병 이후 정보시스템 통합 성공에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 포괄적인 연구를 위하여 정보시스템뿐만 아니라 전략 경영, 경제학, 재무학, 인사관리, 조직관리 분야의 선행연구를 조사하였다 이를 기반으로 인수 합병 이후 정보시스템 통합 영향요인에 대한 통합 모델을 제시하였다. 제시된 모형에서는 영향요인들을 인수 합병 관점, 전략 관점, 조직 관점, 인사관리 관점, 정보시스템 관점으로 재 분류하고, 사례연구를 통하여 각 요인들이 정보시스템 통합 성공에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하였다.

Effects of food scandals on religious belief, human health and even on causes of death indicate that firms and consumers are vulnerable to integrity risks in the global supply chain. Mitigating the integrity risk and maintaining the credence quality products like halal food is very challenging, if not impossible. Our aim in this research is to show that supply chain integration can mitigate the halal food integrity risk. To illustrate this idea, we have conducted case studies and interviews in seven Malaysian chicken supply chain focal firms. We unpack the halal integrity risks along the supply chain, such as production risk, raw material risk, food security risk, outsourcing practices risk, service risk, and logistics risk. The research argues that supply chain integration, such as internal integration and external integration practices, could minimize the halal integrity risk. The advantages of supply chain integration in mitigating the halal integrity risk are also highlighted in this paper.
