  • The study intends to conduct an analysis of relations between efficiency of investment to human resources and the operating margin in hospitals. The analyzed results are as follows: First, it is found out that an index related to labor productivity(the monthly value added per bed, the value added ratio to gross revenue), and an index for efficiency of human resources(value added to personnel expenses), do not have a significant difference by years. Second, labor productivity, indicating the efficiency of human resources, does not have a significant difference between regions and between hospital types. But there is a significant difference according to types of establishment: private hospitals have higher labor productivity(efficiency of human resources) than corporate hospitals. The hospital size is small have significantly higher labor productivity. As a result of a follow-up check, it is found out that there is separation between a group with more than 200 beds and a group with less than 200 beds. Third, at the relations between the indices related to value-added productivity and the operating margin that the higher the value added ratio to gross revenue and the higher labor productivity, the higher the operating margin. Especially, labor productivity(value added to personnel expenses), an index for the efficiency of human resources, out of all the indices related value added productivity, has the most significant influence on the operating margin.

  • In this study, to specify an evaluation of human sensibility, the types of color, intensity of illuminations and lights consisting work environmental condition are decided, and image data from examining the change of human sensibility followed by changes of the above three conditions are obtained. Using the factor analysis and quantification theory in multi-variate analysis type of Sensibility Ergonomics, determinating the structure of factors, specifying the relations of environmental conditions and factors can be done so that the structure of image on human sensibility space with the change of environmental conditions is analyzed.

  • This study examined relationships between children's aggression and the variables such as individual, family, and school adjustment. For this study, individual variables included age, self-esteem, and game-addiction tendency. Family variables included mother's controlling parenting, child-abuse, parents' marital conflict. As for school adjustment, teacher relations, peer relations, classroom and rule adjustment in school were examined. The sample consisted of 642 children of the fifth and sixth grade in Busan. Statistics and methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, Cronbach's alpha, factor analysis, two-way Anova, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical Regression. Several major results were found from the analysis: First, boys' aggression was higher than girls'. But no age difference was found in children's aggression. Second, game-addiction tendency had a positive correlation with children's aggression. In addition, self-esteem had a negative correlation with boys' aggression. Third, mother's controlling parenting had a positive correlation with children's aggression. Child abuse had a positive correlation with boys' aggression, and parents' marital conflict with girls' aggression. Fourth, teacher relations, peer relations, classroom and rule adjustment in school had a negative correlation with boys' aggression. In addition, rule adjustment in school had a negative correlation with girls' aggression. Fifth, game-addiction tendency, rule adjustment in school, self-esteem, mother's controlling parenting and teacher relations in school were important variables predicting boys' aggression. On the other hand, game-addiction tendency and rule adjustment in school were important variables predicting girls' aggression.

In his Tian-Ren Relations theory, the various characters of Ren & Tian has same structure by personifying Tian and Nature. Wang chong's Tian-Ren Relations theory is not only very a critique on the Tian-Ren response theory in West Han period, but also a basis of his own thought-system. At that time, the social consciousness form was already the modified Tian-Ren response theory. But Wang chong sharply criticized it, because he thought that Tian-Ren response theory is very falsehood. Critique of Wang chong has two aspect, One is truth and falsehood judgement in empirical fact of human about the Tian-Ren response theory. The other is right and wrong judgement in value of human & society about the Tian-Ren response theory. The different meanings are always overlapped each other or appeared at the same time in critique of Wang chong In this paper will be research on this Tian-Ren relations theory of Wang chong, his critique on Tian-Ren response theory and the meaning of human-being on his theory.

  • The recent diagnosis of the Anthropocene challenges public understanding of nature as a pure and singular entity removed from society, as the diagnosis confirms the earth-changing force of humans. In geography, the nature-society divide has been critically interrogated long before the diagnosis of the Anthropocene, developing several ways of theorizing nature-society relations. This paper introduces a new frontier for such theoretical endeavors: more-than-human geography. Inspired by the material and performative turn in geography and the social sciences around the 2000s, more-than-human geographers have sought to re-engage with the livingness of the world in the study of nature-society relations. Drawing on actor-network theory, non-representational theory (NRT) and vitalism, they have developed innovative ways of thinking about and relating to nature through the key concepts of 'nonhuman agency' and 'affect'. While more-than-human geography has been extensively debated and developed in recent Euro-American scholarship on cultural and economic geography, it has so far received limited attention in Korean geographical studies on nature. This paper aims to address this gap by discussing the key concepts and seminal work of more-than-human geography. I first outline four theoretical strands through which nature-society relations are perceived in geography. I then offer an overview of more-than-human geography, discussing its theoretical foundations and considering ontologies, epistemologies, politics and ethics associated with nature-society relations. Then, I compare more-than-human geography with political ecology, which is the mainstream critical approach in contemporary environmental social sciences. I would argue that more-than-human geography further challenges and develops political ecology through its heightened attention to the affective capacity of nonhumans and the methodological ethos of doing a careful political ecology. I conclude by reflecting on the implications of more-than-human geography for Korean studies on nature-society relations.

The survey was performed on-line and off-line. 582 housewives who used the Internet at home gave valid responses to the questionnaire. The findings of tills study were as follows. First, after having started using the Internet, housewives felt that intimacy among family members has increased while the level of equality between couples unchanged. Second, the change in intimacy among family members has significant differences according to family adaptability and family cohesion. Whether or not other family members used the Internet also affected the intimacy among family members. Third, the change in equality between couples depended on their ability to use the Internet. This suggested that the ability to use the Internet was the core element to an equality. The results of this research suggested several implications for the public policy.
