  • This paper analyzes how the international callback services affect on the international telecommunications market. We present a simple game-theoretic model to compare the equilibrium outcomes before and after the arrival of callback operator. We find that the callback service arises from the inefficiencies in the national telecommunications market and the accounting rate system between international telecommunications carriers. Also, we identify the conflicting interests among the governments and carriers, by examining how the callback service affects the collection rate, quantities demanded, carrier's profit and social welfare of each country.

  • The dicing is a process of gaining chip from a wafer. It is done by some mechanism to lengthwise and crosswise. Here, it is focused on measuring a depth of the wafer hefore a process of the dicing. First of all, it checks a precise outer position for the wafer on table to gain the chip. Second, the xafer should he lined after Imowing how much depth, it is in out of the outer position of the wafer. Here suggests that there are a composition of mechanical system, how to measure a depth out of scriber axis, a result from testing.

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose a procedure for economic evaluation of computerization of the office works in business. In particular, this paper is concerned with how to estimate elemental costs and benefits attributable to the computerization of the office work. This paper includes also how to integrate the elemental costs and benefits so that measures for economic evaluation may be obtained.

  • This study is concerned how to construct a model of life as physical/ mathematical representation. This model is called here a bionic model and vibrating potential field is introduced as fundamental world background of the model. Namely, required information creating/ processing/ controlling are done on this field. Especially this paper reports how to realize the simulation of a bionic self organization and its functional expression based on the mutual actions among a set of life units.

  • In this paper, we propose a framework of reliability education program for industry people taking charge of reliability improvement or reliability evaluation. To this end, we investigate the situation of how reliability theories or reliability technologies are applied to industry and how industry people have reliability educations. And we also identify reliability theories or technologies which industry people need to ensure. Based on the result of such studies, we design a reliability education program which is appropriate for industry people.

  • Characteristics of local vibration modes of a corrugated panel are investigated by finite element analysis and modal testing. Structural modification model in the corrugation is proposed to increase the resonance frequency. This model decreases the fall by the local resonance in the transmission loss of the corrugated pallet and improves sound insulation performance. Damping effect of tile foam filled ill tile core cavity is also estimated by experiment The results of tile study offer useful information how to predict the severe local resonances in corrugations and how to prevent their undesirable effect ell the sound insulation and the vibration transmission.

  • Many children with microscopic hematuria have been found on school screening examinations. There are not, however, nation-wide criteria for us(specifically, pediatric nephrologists) how to take care of them. Recently, quite a few research papers concerning microalbuminuria with microscopic hematuria, which can predict the renal pathological findings, are published. Here I have reviewed articles on microalbuminuria which gives us the information how to manage microscopic hematuria.

  • Earthquake are not frequent in korea but exist. The purpose of this study is to make a fixation(tie up) device against earthquake for radiologic department installation. It is considered that the device will prevent the X-ray equipment fall down, slip, Jumping therefor save the X-ray equipment itself and making possible to examine patients even when occuring earthquake, Discussion on how to make and how to set up was researched.

  • A weakly viscous wave and an approximate variational principle in viscous fluids are introduced, with which we can interpret the fundamentals such as how viscosity dissipation occurs with time elapse, and how the free surface boundary layer exists at the wavy surface in weakly viscous fluids. As an application, responses of a spherical buoy on the weakly viscous capillary gravity wave are investigated to show the viscosity effects. At the end, surfactant problems are briefly reviewed with the view of short viscous waves as expected future applications.

  • Most discussions of single imputation methods and the EM algorithm concern point estimation of population quantities with missing values. A second concern is how to get standard errors of the point estimates obtained from the filled-in data by single imputation methods and EM algorithm. Now we focus on how to estimate standard errors with incorporating the additional uncertainty due to nonresponse. There are some approaches to account for the additional uncertainty. The general two possible approaches are considered. One is the jackknife method of resampling methods. The other is multiple imputation(MI). These two approaches are reviewed and compared through simulation studies.
